INSTALACIÓN
Colocar el aparato sobre una superfície plana, hori-
zontal y nivelada, procurando dejar un espacio libre
de 10 cm. por la parte posterior y por los laterales del
equipo.
Evitar ubicaciones en lugares con exposición directa
al sol o similar (calefacción, rayos de sol, etc...). En
lugares con mala ventilación son también
inapropiados.
La rejilla de ventilación de la parte posterior no debe
ser tapada ni cambiada de posición.
¡ATENCIÓN! IMPORTANTE PARA SU SEGURIDAD
CAUTION!!! IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY
Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una ten-
sión de red que coincide con la indicada en la
placa de características.
No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma
de tierra.
Si cambia la clavija de enchufe tenga en cuenta
lo siguiente:
Cable azul: Neutro.
Cable marron: Fase.
Cable Amarillo/Verde: Tierra.
Be sure that the voltage supply is the same as
the one indicated on the characteristic plate of
the apparatus.
Do not use the apparatus if it is NOT earthed.
If you have to change the plug bear in mind the
following:
Blue cable: Neutral.
Brown cable: Phase.
Yellow/green cable: Earth.
INSTALLATION
Place the apparatus on a flat, horizontal and level
surface, trying to leave a space of about 10 cms. at
the back and on each side.
Avoid positioning the apparatus in direct sunlight or
exposed to similar sources of heat. Poorly ventilated
rooms are also unsuitable.
The ventilation grille at the back of the apparatus must
NOT be blocked not even change its position.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Los armarios refrigeradores MEDILOW, están dise-
ñados para trabajar con temperaturas regulables des-
de +2ºC hasta +40ºC con una estabilidad de ±1,25%.
Están especialmente indicados para la determinación
de DBO5a 20ºC, la medida de actividad enzimática a
25ºC, la conservación de muestras, incubación, cos-
mética, botánica, alimentación, etc...
El mueble exterior está recubierto en epoxi, mientras
que el recinto interior está moldeado en ABS, resis-
tente y de fácil limpieza.
En el interior del recinto hay una turbina para la circu-
lación de aire, y un grupo compresor hermético y sin
vibraciones. En el lateral del armario se encuentra un
orificio para entrada de conexiones, sondas,...
Los soportes pie delanteros son regulables en altura
para conseguir una perfecta nivelación. La puerta dis-
pone de cerradura, y también de la posibilidad de cam-
biar fácilmente el sentido de apertura.
EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
MEDILOW cooling cabinets are designed to work with
adjustable temperatures from +2ºC up to +40ºC, with
a stability of ±1.25ºC. They are specially appropriated
for BOD5d determination at 20ºC; enzymatic
measurement at 25ºC; perservation of sample;
incubator; cosmetics; botanics: food; etc.
Epoxy-coated outer casing and strong ABS inner
chamber-easily cleaned.
Circulating fan inside the chamber, hermetic
compressor group without vibrations. Side hole for
connections, probes, etc.
Height-adjustable front base supports. Lockable door,
and it can be opened from left or right.

CONTROLPANEL:
1. Display rojo de la medición (o de la consigna para
CTD 43 accionando la tecla , indicado por un
punto decimal intermitente).
2. LED rojo indica que la salida de alarma está acti-
va.
3. LED rojo indica que la salida está activada.
4. LED verde de la indicación de la función auto-re-
gulable (indicador intermitente) y auto-adaptativo
(el indicador está iluminado permanente) verde.
5. Tecla de selección y validación de los parámetros.
6. Tecla de incrementación y modificación de los
parámetros.
7. Tecla de decrementación y modificación de los
parámetros.
8. Activa o desactiva las funciones auto-regulable y
auto-adaptativa (función smart).
9. Indicador de desviación con relación al punto de
consigna, central verde, inferior y superior rojo.

NAMIENTO:
Colocar los topes separadores en la parte poste-
rior del equipo, para evitar que accidentalmente
quede demasiado adosado a la pared (ver dibu-
jo).
VERY IMPORTANT BEFORE THE FIRST START UP:
Put the buffers at the rear part of the apparatus
to avoid contact with the wall (see drawing).

1. Pulsar durante más de 3 segundos sobre o
para aumentar o disminuir el valor de la consigna
en curso.
2. Obtenida la nueva consigna soltar las teclas
oautomáticamente será memorizada y opera-
cional después de 3 segundos. Si durante este
proceso, decide no modificar la consigna, es sufi-
ciente activar la tecla F, el aparato vuelve al «modo
indicación normal» sin haberse memorizado el
nuevo valor.
Nota: Para tener el valor de la consigna en el dis-
play, accionar la tecla . Cuando el aparato indi-
que el valor de la consigna el LED rojo de la dere-
cha del display, indicado por «SP» estará intermi-
tente, para tener de nuevo el valor de la medición
en el display, pulsar .

cide not to modify the preselected temperature,
simply press pushbutton F and the apparatus re-
turns to «normal indication mode» without saving

Note: To obtain the set value on the display, press
. When the apparatus indicates the set value
the red led on the right of the display, indicated
«SP» will be intermittent, to get the new measur-
ing value on the display, press .
MODIFICACIÓN DE LOS PARÁMETROS
DELREGULADORDETEMPERATURA:
1. El regulador sale de fábrica bloqueado de forma
que sólo se puede modificar la temperatura de con-
signa.
2. Si se quieren modificar los parámetros de control
primero se habrá de desbloquear de la siguiente
forma:
1º Sacar el regulador de su alojamiento del frontal.
2º Procedimiento de configuración:
1.- Abrir el aparato.
2.- Colocar el «switch» en posición abierta (Fig.1).
3.- Cerrar el aparato.
4.- Poner el aparato bajo tensión.
5.- Aparecen en el display «CnF».
Nota: Si aparece en el display «Cal», accionar la
tecla para volver al modo configuración.
CHANGING OF TEMPERATURE
REGULATORPARAMETERS:
1. This regulator is blocked so only the preset tem-
perature can be modified.
2. If you want to modify the control parameters, first
it is necessary to unblock the regulator as fol-
lows:
1º Take out the regulator from the frontal.
2º Configuration procedure:
1.- Open the apparatus.
2.- Place the switch in open position (Fig.1).
3.- Close the apparatus.
4.- Put the apparatus at low pressure.
5.- The display will show «CnF».
Note: If «Cal» appears on the display, press to
return to configuration mode.

6.- Accionar sobre F para iniciar la configuración.
7.- Pulsar hasta que aparezca «P-11» y colocar a «0».
8.- Abrir el aparato.
9.- Colocar el «switch» en posición (Fig.2).
10.- Cerrar el aparato.
11.- Poner el aparato bajo tensión.
12.- Proceder al cambio de los parámetros.

MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de quitar la tapa del aparato para manipu-
lar en su interior desconecte la toma de red.
Los parámetros del regulador de temperatura no
deben ser manipulados por personal no autoriza-
do puede provocar daños de difícil reparación.
Cuando sea necesario su desplazamiento, colocar
el equipo, verticalmente, sobre un palet cuyas di-
mensiones deben ser como mínimo iguales a la
base del armario. Una vez transportado deberán
transcurrir 12 horas antes de poner en marcha el
equipo.
LIMPIEZA:
Aconsejamos una limpieza regular del armario. Para
ello, poner el termostato en la posición “0” (desenchufar
o desconectar los fusibles). Limpiar la cuba y la carro-
cería con agua tibia y un poco de detergente, enjuagar
con agua limpia y secar bien con un paño. No utilizar
nunca productos de limpieza con componentes
abrasivos o mdisolventes.
DESESCARCHE:
El aparato se descongela automaticamente, el agua se
recoge en el recipiente de evaporación y se evapora
automaticamente. Poner atención a que el agua
puedacircular libremente por el desagüe situado en
laparte posterior de la cámara de refrigeración. Even-
tualmente, desembozar el desagüe con un objeto pun-
tiagudo. Para desescarchar, poner el termostato en la
posición “0”, sacar todos los productos y dejar la puerta
abierta. Después de desescarchado, limpiar el armario
y poner el termostato en la posición inicial. Evitar la
utilización de objetos cortantes para sacar la capa
de hielo o escarcha, bajo el peligro de deteriorar
el evaporador.
CAMBIO DE SENTIDO DEL TIRADOR DE
LAPUERTA:
1. Desatornillar el borde de la bisagra (1) con la puerta
cerrada. Sacar la puerta hacia abajo.
2. Retirar el perno de la bisagra (2) del borde de la bi-
sagra y atornillarlo en el agujero de apoyo contiguo.
3. Desatornillar el perno superior de la bisagra (3) y
atornillarlo en el lado opuesto.
4. Separar las piezas de recubrimiento (4, 5 y 6) de la
parte izquierda del aparato y recubrir con ellas los
agujeros de apoyo que quedan libres en el lado de-
recho.
5. Colgar la puerta del perno de la bisagra (3) y cerrar-
la.
6. Atornillar el borde de la bisagra (1 y 7) en el lado
izquierdo del aparato (no olvidar las plaquitas de de-
bajo de las bisagras).
MAINTENANCE
Before removing the covers disconnect the
apparatus from the mains.
The parameters of temperature regulator must not
manipulate by unauthorized personnel. It can cause
damages of difficult solution.
When its moving is necessary, put the set vertically
on a palet whose dimensions (at least) are the same
as the ones of the base of the cabinet. Once the
moving is finished, 12 hours must be passed before
starting up the set.
CLEANING:
The cleaning of the cabinet freezer frequently is
recommended. For it, put the thermostat in position
“0” (switch off or disconnect the fuses). Clean the
chamber and casing with lukewarm water with a small
quantity of detergent, rinse with clear water and dry
well. Do not use abrasive, alkaline, acid or base
cleaning products.
DEFROSTING:
The apparatus is defrosted automatically. Be careful
that the water circulates freely through the drainge
placed at the back of the cabinet. From time to time,
with a pointed object discloak the drainge. After
prolonged service with very low temperature, forst may
accumulate. To defrost, put the thermostat in ‘’0’’
position, remove all products and leave the door
opened. After defrostin, clean the cabinet and place
the thermostat in start position. To defrost, avoid the
use of cutting objects, under evaporator damage.
CHANGING THE SIDE (HINGES) OF THE
DOOR:
1. Unscrew the edge of the hinge (1) with the door
closed. Remove the door downwards.
2. Remove the hinge-bolt (2) from the edge of the hinge
and screw it into the next support.
3. Unscrew the upper bolt of the hinge (3) and screw it
to the opposite side.
4. Separate the covering parts(4, 5 and 6) from the left
side of the apparatus and cover the support holes
left open on the right.
5. Hang the door from the hinge-bolt (3) and close it.
6. Screw up the edge of the hinge (1 and 7) onto the
left side of the apparatus (don’t forget the small
plates under the hinges).
