IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all of the instructions before using the Vitashake Pro Milkshake Mixer and
ensure that other operators read and understand safety & operating instructions.
Save these instructions for Future reference. Thank you for purchasing a Semak Vitashake
Artemis Pro Milkshake Mixer.
1. Ensure that power supply is switched off before connecting to the electric outlet.
2. Use only on AC 240V –50 Hz only without an extension cord.
3. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug or motor end of the appliance
in water or any other liquid. Never put the Vitashake in a dishwasher.
4. Always switch off at the power outlet before removing the plug. Remove by holding the
plug - do not pull on the cord. When the appliance is not in use, or prior to cleaning,
always switch off the power and remove the plug.
5. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet when the mixer is not in use.
6. The Vitashake should not be used by children or infirm persons and care should be taken
when used near these persons. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance. Never leave the mixer unattended. Not for outdoor use.
7. Avoid physical contact with moving parts. The mixing blades are very sharp and care is
needed when handling mixing blades, and only when the Vitashake is disconnected
from the power supply. Never attempt to touch the mixing blades when mixer is in use.
8. Never operate the Vitashake without the container securely in place.
Never operate the Vitashake with an empty container.
9. Do not use on the stove or let the cord come into contact with any hot surface.
10.Keep hands and utensils out of the container while using the Vitashake to prevent the
possibility of severe injury to persons or damage to the unit.
11.WARNING: Mixing Blade / Agitator is sharp. Please handle carefully
DO NOT try to remove blade while the motor base is connected to power.
DO NOT operate with loose, nicked or damaged blade, replace immediately.
CAUTION keep all utensils AWAY FROM the motor shaft and mixer blades during
operation. Metal utensils will damage blades.
DO NOT locate container into container bracket if mixer motor is operating.
DO NOT rock the mixer during operation.
DO NOT mix hot liquids. Intended only for cold liquids.
12.Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any way. Return the appliance to Semak or one
of its Authorised Service Agent for repair. Do not attempt to repair the machine.
13.For Safety reasons and to avoid maintenance by unskilled persons, the appliance should
always be returned to Semak for adjustment or repair if required.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: VSAP
The Semak Vitashake Pro mixes quickly and efficiently.
Use it to make milkshakes, thickshakes, frappes and cocktails.
1. Before connecting to electrical outlet, wash the container and its parts, and also
wipe the mixer base with a damp cloth.
2. Ensure the appliance is placed on a dry, stable and level surface.
3. Ensure that the power supply is switched off before connecting to the electrical
outlet. Ensure the cord is unobstructed and not touching any hot or sharp
surfaces. Plug the appliance into a dedicated power outlet. Turn the power ON.
4. Place ingredients in the special mixing container. Use liquid only in the mixing
container and DO NOT use the appliance to mix ice or other solids.
5. Using the switch found on the top of the machine, switch to the desired rotor
speed: “I”position for low speed, the “II”position for high speed or “0”for Off.
6. Insert the rotor/mixing shaft into the mixing container and set the container on its
base, pressing down to establish contact. There are three positions available to
accommodation 11-18cm glasses / cups.
7. Select one of these positions by pressing down to engage the motor. The
appliance will continue to run as long as you continue to press down.
8. When ingredients are mixed to desired consistency, turn the mixer OFF.
9. Do not leave mixer unattended or leave contents in the container when not in use.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug the Vitashake Pro Mixer from the power source before cleaning.
Wash the container and other stainless steel parts with a HACCP detergent.
The unit is easiest to clean immediately after completing the mixing task.
A HACCAP sanitizer may be used to minimize bacterial contamination.
Clean appliance by wiping with a barely damp cloth only.
Never immerse the motor, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.

The Foodservice Industry is deemed a hostile environment within the scope of AS/NZS
3760:2003. Semak Vitashake Pro MUST be routinely electrically tested for compliance with
this standard if used commercially.
It is recommended that a Food Safety program such as HACCP be employed and that
routine service and repair be undertaken at the time of electrical testing to ensure the
correct operation and function of all parts. The equipment MUST be serviced annually or
sooner depending of the hostility of the environment in which it is operated.

WARRANTY
Model VSAP is a Commercial Grade milkshake maker suitable for commercial use. This
product is guaranteed for 2 years (lifetime motor warranty) from the date of purchase
against mechanical and electrical defects.
If the fault is deemed caused by MISUSE/ABUSE the terms of the warranty are invalidated.
If the product has been opened or tampered with (ie. In an attempt to repair it) the
warranty is invalidated. All warranty repairs should be undertaken by Semak Australia.
It is against company policy to authorize warranty repairs over the phone. Service Agents
will require a work order number from Semak to conduct warranty repairs.

SEMAK® WARRANTY
THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD IN AUSTRALIA
The benefits conferred by this warranty are an alternative to all other rights and remedies
in respect of the product which the consumer has under the Trade Practices Act and similar
State and Territory Laws.
Semak Australia. Warrant each new SEMAK appliance manufactured by SEMAK to be free
from defects in materials or manufacturing process for a period of 2 years (lifetime on
motor) from the date of original purchase.
Should defects due to faulty materials or manufacturing process develop within the
warranty period, the appliance will be repaired without charge providing all conditions of
this warranty are observed.
1. Proof of Purchase and Warranty card must be retained and available on request.
2. This Warranty is void if the equipment has been damaged due to misuses neglect or is
used for a purpose for which it was not suited; and no repairs, alterations or
modifications have been attempted by other than Semak or its authorised Service
Agent.
3. Semak Australia. Reserves the right to reject a claim for warranty if service is required
due to misapplication, improper installation, inadequate wiring, and incorrect voltage
conditions. Under no circumstances shall SEMAK or its agents bear responsibility for
consequential damages of any kind.
4. Where required by Statute or local authority, equipment must be installed by qualified
person in accordance with all relevant regulations. Failure to do this will void product
warranty.
5. Cost of transport of any appliance or part to and from SEMAK or its Service Agent is to
be paid by the owner.
6. A charge will be made where failure is due to neglect, abuse or accidental damage on
the part of the operator, or when no fault can be found or the fault is due to causes
outside the control of Semak Australia.
7. The above does not preclude the purchaser from their Statutory rights as a consumer.
