How To Wear the Helmet
˝ Position the helmet on your head with the front covering your
forehead.
˞ Position the strap adjuster centered, just below your ears.
˟ Position the helmet low on your forehead with the buckle under
the chin and back against the throat. The straps should fit
comfortably around both ears.
ˠ After removing the chinstrap pad, adjust the chinstrap tension at
the buckle so the chinstrap is tight and comfortable by pulling the
chinstrap end through the buckle to either tighten or loosen as
needed.

Your R2X Helmet comes with Amazon Alexa
Initial Setting
The first time you use Amazon Alexa, you need to add your device to
the Amazon Alexa app.
˝ Connect the R2X helmet and your phone via Bluetooth phone
pairing.
˞ Install and launch the Amazon Alexa app.
˟ Log in to your Amazon account. If you do not have an Amazon
account, create a new account.
ˠ Select Devices > > Add Device.
ˡ Select Headphones > Sena R2X > CONTINUE > DONE.

User Guide.

Activate Amazon Alexa Installed on Your Smartphone

• With Alexa on your R2X Helmet you can hear the weather, listen to
music, schedule appointments and more, hands-free.
• Using Alexa on your R2X Helmet is as simple as asking. Just ask or
use the (+) Button and the (-) Button and Alexa responds instantly.
Utterances
Alexa allows you to control your music and entertainment with just your
voice. Quickly and easily change songs, start a book, or hear a joke.

Note:
• If you mute the microphone, you cannot call Alexa and button
operations will also be deactivated.
• Alexa is not available in all languages and countries. Alexa
features and functionality may vary by location.

Using the Sena Cycling App
You can control the LED Taillight through the Sena Cycling App.

Over-The-Air (OTA) Firmware Update
You can upgrade firmware using an OTA update in the Sena Cycling
App.
˝ Connect the Bluetooth system and your phone via Bluetooth
phone pairing.
˞ Install and launch the Sena Cycling App.
˟ If the Bluetooth system firmware is not the latest version, the
“Firmware Update” screen will appear.
ˠ Follow the Firmware Update instructions on the Sena Cycling
App.
ˡ When the update is complete, the “Firmware Update Complete”
screen will appear and the Bluetooth system will turn off
automatically.
ˢ Turn on the Bluetooth system again. The Bluetooth system will
automatically connect to the Sena Cycling App.
Note: Do not turn the Bluetooth system off while upgrading
firmware. Doing so may damage the product.
