How to connect your Sennheiser DW office to your desk phone via the
headset socket or with a lifter.
Headset socket setup:
Step 1: plug in your power supply to power up the headset docking cube.
Step 2: connect your RJ5 connection cable (green band) in to the socket
on the cube marked (phone)
Step 3: connect the Rj9 end of the cable (smaller end) in to the headset
socket on the phone.
Step 4: please ensure that all the dip switches on the back of the cube,
are facing up and the slider switch is on letter A.
Step 5: when you power up the Sennheiser Cube, you will get a red light in
the middle. This is to indicate that its ready for a headset to be docked.
Step 6: if you connect the Mic to the Magnetic holder on the cube (with
the mic boom facing up) it will start flashing blue, this means it is pairing
to the cube.
Step 7: once the headset is paired if you press the headset button (marked
S on the mic) it will flash blue on the cube, this will mean the headset is
active ready to use.
Step 8: once the headset is active ready to use, all you will need to do is
press your headset funtion key on your phone to open up the Line.
if you don’t have a designated headset key, you may need to speak with
your phone provider to programe you one.
Lifter setup:
Step 1: plug in your power supply to power up the headset docking cube.
Step 2: connect your RJ5 connection cable (green band) in to the socket
on the cube marked (phone)
Step 3: Step 3: connect the Rj9 end of the cable (smaller end) in to the
curly cord socket on the phone.
Step 4: unplug your handpiece reciever curly cable from the back of your
phone, then reconnect it to the handset socket on the back of the headset
cube.
Step 5: unbox your Lifter (cables needed)
Step 6: connect the Rj9 cable in to the top of the lifter.
Step 7: connect the Rj9 cable (pink band) in to the docking cube, to the
socket ACC (please ensure that the dip switches number 1 and 2 are
pushed down).
Step 8: unpeel the double sided sticky pads on the lifter and connect the
lifter to the phone, place the lifter towards to top of the phone so that it
can lifter the receiver off the phone when activated.
Your headset should now be ready to use, when you activate the headset
you will get a light abvove the desk phone symbol on the cube and a blue
light on your Mic, this will then lift your handset off the phone ready for
use.
