Getting Started
Your High Denition Light is ready to plug
in and use.
To operate the light, use the standby switch
located back of the handle on the light head.
When OFF the switch glows red
(Diagram 1 inset).
Positioning
Your light is designed to help you easily
direct the beam just where you need it.
It is equipped with a swivel joint at the lamp
head and a robust, exible, stay-put arm
for ne positioning.
Dimmer & Diffuser Kit
Remembers your last setting. e dimmer
is operated by a wheel located on the back
of the lamphead (Diagram 2 inset). If you’d
prefer a wider spread of light then you can
use the diuser kit supplied with your light.
Standby Mode
It is normal to leave the light on standby
when not in use. When in standby mode
it will consume less than 0.5w. e High
Denition Light is not designed to be
opened so please do not attempt to tamper
with it.

High Denition Heavyweight table models
are equipped with pen and glasses holders.
ese can be removed if you wish. e
retaining cap releases if squeezed and lied.
If it seems a little sti you can loosen it
by gently levering the two plastic arms on
either side together.
Once the retaining cap has been released,
remove one or both holders then push the
cap back into place (Diagram 3).

Magnet
Changing your Bulb
Disconnect your light from the power
and allow 30 minutes for everything to
cool down. To access the bulb simply
pull o the Front Cover which is secured
by a magnet (Diagram 4).
Pull out the old bulb (avoid twisting).
Insert the new bulb by pushing the two
male pins into the female bulb holder
sockets.
Replace the Front Cover ensuring that
the magnet is lined up with the magnet
on the lamp head.
Replacement HD 35w Bulb (Part
Number: 15176A) (For a soer, less
intense light use IRC 20w Bulb (15172A)
