2. WARNINGS
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
SF Tech heating system must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications.
You should frequently pay attention to the skin under heated areas to avoid burns!
Use only under a functional dry suit.
Do not turn on the battery out of the water.
Do not store or stack when the power is on.
Use only with a disconnectable external battery with power adjustment.
The maximum operating voltage must not exceed 12V.
The system should not be used at the maximum setting when the battery is 100% charged. The first heating phase
must be performed at a lower setting.
Always start your activity with the power adjustment on the lowest setting.
Switch off or disconnect immediately in case of malfunction or water leak inside the suit.
Failure to follow the safety instructions can damage the equipment or cause serious injury.
Inspect the entire system and cables before each use. Any type of damage, cut or breakage can result in serious
injury.
THERMAL INSULATION
Changes in ambient pressure can cause a variation of the properties of the insulating materials.
Use underwear appropriate to the environmental conditions and type of activity performed.
Inadequate insulation can lead to risks such as hypothermia or hyperthermia.
BATTERIE
Only use batteries recommended by SF Tech.
Refer to the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
LIMIT OF USE
The SF Tech heating system is a comfort system, it is not designed to exceed the physiological limits of the diver.
The maximum depth of use is determined by the training and qualification of the diver, and the limitations of the
equipment including but not limited to the battery.
Use only compressed air to inflate the dry suit. All other gases, such as oxygen enriched air (Nitrox), argon or
helium enriched gases (Trimix) could cause health damage or equipment damage.
The use of diving equipment by a non-qualified person may result in serious injury or death.

4. SWAPPING THE AIR INTAKE
4.1 Necessary tools:
Hex key: 4.5mm or 3/16’’
Hex spanner: 12mm or 1/2’’
4.2 Unscrew the nipple for the inflator hose.
4.3 Unscrew the intermediate pressure plug. 4.4 Check the o-rings and lubricate them with
silicone grease if necessary.
4.5 Screw the plug on the unused side. 4.6 Screw the inflator nipple on the desired side.

4.7 Check the general condition of the valve and
the E/O cable. In case of serious wear or
damage, do not use the valve.
5. VALVE FITTING
5.1 The inflator hose connection can be swapped
depending on the configuration used. Before
use, check that it matches the desired setting.
5.2 Remove the protective plastic cover by pull it.
That step is necessary to avoid tear to the E/O
cable.
5.3 Unscrew the retaining nut. 5.4 Check the E/O cable
5.5 On the suit, remove the protecting pad. 5.6 Remove the inflation valve by unscrewing
it. Hold the external part and unscrew the
retaining nut inside the suit.

5.7 Pass the E/O cable through the hole in the suit. 5.8 Screw the retaining nut.
5.9 Check the orientation of the E/O cable and
inflator hose.
5.10 Place the E/O cable in one of the grooves of
the nut, in order to avoid sharp bending of the
cable.
5.11 Clip the protective plastic cover. 5.12 Put the protective pad back in place.
6. MAINTENANCE
BEFORE USE
Check that the valve is well tighten.
Check the electrical cable for worn or tear.
Check that the button of the valve is acting smoothly.
Check for any air leak.
AFTER USE
Rinse the valve with clean fresh water.
Rinse the E/O plug with clean fresh water.

2. AVERTISSEMENTS
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Lire l’intégralité de ce guide avant utilisation et le garder pour de future références.
Les vêtements chauffant SF Tech doivent être utilisés conformément aux instructions et spécifications du fabricant.
Vous devez fréquemment prêter attention à la peau sous les zones chauffées pour éviter les brûlures!
Utiliser uniquement sous une combinaison étanche fonctionnelle.
Ne pas enclencher la batterie hors de l’eau.
Ne pas ranger ou empiler lorsque l’alimentation est allumée.
Utiliser uniquement avec un batterie externe débranchable ayant un réglage d’intensité.
La tension maximale d’utilisation ne doit pas excéder 12V.
Le système ne doit pas être utilisé au réglage maximal lorsque la batterie est chargée à 100%. La première phase
de chauffage doit être effectuée à un réglage inférieure.
Commencez toujours votre activité avec un niveau de température sur le réglage le plus bas.
Éteindre ou déconnecter immédiatement en cas de mal-fonction ou d’infiltration d’eau dans la combinaison.
Le non-respect des consignes de sécurité peut endommager le matériel ou entrainer des blessures graves.
Inspecter l’intégralité du système et des câbles avant chaque utilisation. Tout type de dommage, de rupture ou de
coupure peut entrainer des blessures graves.
ISOLATION THERMIQUE
Les changements de pression ambiante peuvent entrainer une variation des propriétés des matériaux isolants.
Utiliser des sous-vêtements adaptés aux conditions environnementales et au type d’activité effectuée.
Une isolation inadéquate peut entraîner des risques tels que l’hypothermie ou l’hyperthermie.
BATTERIE
N’utiliser que les batteries recommandées par SF Tech.
Se référer au mode d’emploi du fabricant.
LIMITE D’UTILISATION
Le système de chauffage SF Tech est un système de confort, il n’est pas conçu pour le dépassement des limites
physiologiques du plongeur.
La profondeur maximale d’utilisation est déterminée par la formation et la qualification du plongeur, ainsi que
limites de l’équipement utilisé, notamment la batterie.
Utiliser uniquement de l’air comprimé pour gonfler la combinaison étanche. Tous les autres gaz, tels que l’air
enrichi en oxygène (Nitrox), l’argon ou des gaz enrichi en hélium (Trimix) pourraient causer des dommages à la
santé ou endommager l’équipement.
L’utilisation de matériel de plongée par une personne non-qualifiée peut être susceptible d’entraîner des
accidents graves voire mortels.

4. INVERSION DE L’ARRIVÉE D’AIR
4.1 Outils nécessaires:
Clé imbus: 4.5mm ou 3/16’’
Clé à fourche: 12mm ou 1/2’’
4.2 Dévisser le raccord pour le tuyau d’inflateur.
4.3 Dévisser le bouchon moyenne pression. 4.4 Vérifier l’état des joint torique et les graisser avec
de la graisse silicone si nécessaire
4.5 Visser le bouchon du côté inutilisé. 4.6 Visser le raccord du côté désiré.

4.7 Inspecter l’état général de l’inflateur vérifier le
câble E/O. En cas d’usure prononcée ou de
dommage, contacter le fabricant.
5. MONTAGE DE L’INFLATEUR
5.1 Le raccord d’inflateur peut être inversé suivant
la configuration utilisée. Avant installation,
vérifier que le raccord soit du côté désiré.
5.2 Enlever le capuchon en plastique en tirant
dessus. Cette étape est nécessaire afin de ne
pas endommager le câble E/O
5.3 Dévisser l’écrou de maintien 5.4 Une fois le capuchon et l’écrou enlever, vérifier
le câble E/O.
5.5 Sur la combinaison, enlever le pad de
protection de l’inflateur.
5.6 Enlever l’inflateur en le dévissant. Tenir la
partie externe et dévisser l’écrou de maintien à
l’intérieur de la combinaison

5.7 Enfiler le câble E/O à travers le trou de la
combinaison, et.
5.8 Visser l’écrou de maintien. .
5.9 Vérifier l’orientation du câble E/O et de
l’arrivée d’air
5.10 Placer le câble E/O dans l’une des ouverture
de l’écrou, de façon à éviter tout coude
prononcer du câble.
5.11 Clipper le capuchon de protection. 5.12 Remettre le pad de protection.
6. ENTRETIEN
AVANT UTILISATION
Contrôler le serrage de l’inflateur.
Contrôler l’état du câble électrique.
Contrôler le bon fonctionnement de l’inflateur.
Contrôler toute éventuelle fuite d’air.
APRÈS UTILISATION
Rincer l’inflateur à l’eau douce.
Rincer le connecteur E/O à l’eau douce.
