PPI Sampling Quick Start Guide
Color will vary depending on model.
BEFORE SAMPLING
1) Remove PPI from heat sealed bag when ready to sample. Save the bag for later use with
same sampler.
2) Remove the black cap. Connect PPI to pump tubing after allowing the pump to warm up for
1.5 minutes. You are now sampling.

AFTER SAMPLING
1) Disconnect the sampler from pump tubing and replace the black cap back on the outlet of the
PPI. Place the provided sticker over the inlet of the PPI to seal the sample.
2) Place back in original sample bag and ship back to SGS Galson.

CALIBRATION
1) Attach the calibration adapter by placing it over the top of the PPI sampler.
2) The tubing connected to the calibration adapter connects to the calibration device.
The outlet of the PPI (from which the black cover was removed) will be connected to
the pump tubing. Allow the pump to warm up for at least 1.5 minutes to achieve a true
flow.
TWISTING THE CALIBRATION CHAMBER MAY CAUSE YOUR SAMPLER TO
OPEN, AND NEGATE YOUR SAMPLES. Simply pull up on the calibration chamber
to remove.
3) When calibration is complete, place the calibration adapter back in its bag and ship
back to SGS Galson.
CALIBRATION CHAMBERS ARE NOT DISPOSABLE AND
MUST BE RETURNED TO SGS GALSON. FAILURE TO DO SO
WILL RESULT IN REPLACEMENT FEES.
