◎The back cover of the product cannot be removed. Removing it forcibly

◎The battery is built into the product, and cannot be removed by the
customer. To force the power off if the screen freezes etc., hold down
ffor at least 8 seconds.
Proximity sensor/Light sensor, ToF
◎Placing stickers, etc. over the proximity sensor/light sensor may prevent
the product from operating properly.
◎Do not stare into proximity sensor and ToF.
May temporarily affect eyesight, leading to accidents.

Earphone/Microphone jack
◎An earphone/microphone with the switch or depending on the type of
the earphone/microphone, it may not be available with the product.
Attaching the SIM card
Before attaching the SIM card, turn the product off.
Also, attach it with the display side turned up.
A Pull out the SIM card/microSD memory card tray with
your finger on the groove.

the card against the projection of the tray
Check the direction of the SIM card and put it securely.
Not to let the SIM card lift up from the card tray.
If the SIM card does not fit the card tray, may cause a fault.

C Insert the SIM card/microSD memory card tray all the
way to the product straight and horizontally.
Push the ○areas securely and make sure there is no space between
the product and the card tray.
Attaching or removing the SIM card/microSD memory card tray
◎When pulling out the card tray from the product, pull it slowly and
horizontally with the display side turned up.
•Pulling out the card tray forcefully or obliquely may cause damage.
◎When attaching the card tray, insert it slowly with the display side
turned up and make sure there is no space between the product and
the card tray.
•Do not insert the card tray with the wrong side down. Failure to do so
may cause damage it.
•Inserting the card tray not deeply enough may cause impairment of
the waterproof/dustproof property or prevent the product from
functioning properly.
IMEI information (international mobile equipment identity number)
◎The IMEI information is marked on the SIM card/microSD memory card
tray. You can check the IMEI information when requesting servicing or
repairs.

Turning the Power On
A f(hold down for at least 3 seconds) while the product
is turned off.

When you turn the power on for the first time after purchasing the product,
the initial setting screen is displayed automatically. For details on the initial
setting, refer to “取扱説明書 詳細版 (Full Instruction Manual)” (Japanese).
Transferring data
If you connect an old smart phone and the product by connecting
included the Quick Switch Adapter (sample) to the external connection
jack of the product, you can easily transfer data.

•In “Copy apps & data” of the initial settings displayed when turning on the
product for the first time, follow the instructions on the screen, connect
smart phones together, and transfer your data.

than transferring data (charging etc.).

•Communication is not possible even inside the service area in places
where the signal does not reach (e.g. tunnels and basements). Also,
communication may not be possible in poor reception areas.
Communication may be interrupted if you move into a poor reception areas
during communications.
•Since this product uses radio waves, the possibility of communication
intercepts by third parties cannot be eliminated. (Though the 5G/LTE/
WiMAX 2+/UMTS/GSM system has high security and confidential
communication features.)
•VoLTE (LTE network) is used when connecting with organizations that
receive emergency call within Japan. You cannot connect using 3G
(circuit-switched network).

•The product is compatible with the international roaming service. Each
network service in this manual varies depending on the area and service
content.
•Since the product is a radio station under the Radio Law, you may be
asked to temporarily submit the product for inspection in accordance with
the Radio Law.
•The IMEI information of your cell phone is automatically sent to network
operators for maintenance and monitoring operational status of your cell
phone.
•If you are using the product overseas, check the relevant laws and
regulations of the country/region you visit in advance.
•The Company is not liable for any damages arising from earthquakes,
lightning, storms, floods or other natural disasters, as well as fires, actions
by third parties, other accidents, intentional or mistaken operation by the
customer, or use under other unusual conditions outside the responsibility
of the Company.
•The Company is not liable for any incidental damages (change/
disappearance of saved content, loss of business income, disruption of
business, etc.) arising from use of or inability to use the product.
•The Company is not liable for any damages arising from failure to observe

•Note that content data (both charged or free content) saved on the product
cannot be returned to the customer when the product is replaced for repair
of a fault, for example.
•If an image is displayed for a long time, an afterimage may occur on the
display but this is not a fault. To prevent afterimage and to conserve power,
you are recommended to set the screen timeout time to be short.
•Although the display used on the product is made using high-precision
technology, some pixels (dots) might be lit or out at all times. This is not a
malfunction.
•You are recommended to store copies of individual data such as still
pictures/videos you took and music in your PC by sending each file as mail
attachment, etc. Note, however, that you may not be able to make copies
of some copyrighted data even by the above-mentioned means.
•Do not discard together with regular trash. Please cooperate in the
collection of the product (including optional accessories) when it is no
longer needed to protect the environment and effectively use resources.

■Before using the product, thoroughly read these safety
precautions for proper use. After reading, store the
precautions in a safe place.
■These precautions contain information intended to prevent
injury to the user and to surrounding people, as well as

instructions given by the respective airlines.

airplane, you may be punished by law.

institution regarding the use of the product in a hospital.
Turn off the product in areas where the use of cell phones is

Failure to do so might cause interference with the operation of

Keep the product away from the ears during a call in which
hands-free is set, while the ringtone is ringing loudly, during
stand-by, etc.
When you attach the earphone/microphone etc. to the
product to play games, video/music, etc., do not make the
volume too loud.
During a call in which hands-free is set, loud sounds are being
emitted from the product.
Even during stand-by, the ringtone or alarm sound may activate
suddenly.
Hearing loud sounds for a long time may damage your hearing
such as difficulty in hearing.
Also, excessively high volume prevent you from hearing ambient
sounds and cause an accident.

If you have a weak heart, take extra precautions when setting
functions such as the vibrator and ringtone volume for
incoming calls.
You may be startled at the sudden vibrator and ringing for
incoming calls and may have harmful effects on your heart.

respective manufacturer or dealer to check whether the operation
of the equipment is affected by signals.

broken parts and the exposed inside of the product.
