television. To enjoy trouble-free operation of
your product, please read this manual carefully
and keep it handy for easy reference.
CAUTION
Never tamper with any components inside the
television, or any other adjustment controls not
mentioned in this manual. All LCD-televisions
are high voltage instruments. Unplug the
AC cord from the AC outlet before cleaning
the product, then wipe the television with a
dry soft cloth. During thunder and lightning,
unplug the power cord and antenna cable to
prevent damage to your television. All repairs
to this television should only be performed by
qualied television service personnel.
INSTALLATION
*Locate the television in the room where light
does not strike the screen directly.
*Total darkness or a reection on the picture
screen can cause eyestrain. Soft and indirect
lighting is recommended for comfortable
viewing.
*Allow enough space between the television
and the wall to permit ventilation.
*Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent
possible damage to the cabinet or premature

Stand Installation
• Attach the stand in correct direction.
• Be sure to follow the instructions. Incorrect installation of the stand may result in television overturns.
1. Put the television face down on a safe surface that is covered by a soft and smooth cloth. (Show in diagram 1)
2. Fix the television stand support to the television, fasten the screws by using a cross-head screwdriver (Not
supplied). (Show in diagram 2)
3. Fix the television stand base to the television, fasten the screws by using a cross-head screwdriver (Not
supplied). (Show in diagram 3)

CAUTION:
Do not push too hard or apply excessive pressure to the stand neck to avoid any damages when you turn the
television for the most comfortable viewing angle.

Connecting a PC
STEPS:
1. Be sure both the television and computer are set to power off.
2. Connect VGA and audio cable
3. Connect the power cord.
4. Power on the television, switch to VGA mode.
5. Power on the PC.

INSTALLATION
Connecting External Devices
This television provides two groups of AV, one group of component terminals for convenient connection
to VCR, DVD or other video equipments. Please refer to the owner's manual of the equipments to be
connected as well.
You can use the input terminals on the rear panel as follows.
It can be connected to the following equipments: VCR, multi disc player, DVD player, camcorder, video
game console or stereo system, etc.
Component terminals can support these video formats: 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p/50Hz, 720p/60Hz,
1080i/50Hz, 1080i/60Hz, 1080p/24Hz, 1080p/50Hz, 1080p/60Hz.
Note: AV1 and component terminals share the same audio input terminal.

REMOTE CONTROL
1. Remove the batteries cover.
2. Insert 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries, make sure the
polarity (+ or -) of the batteries matches the
polarity marks inside the unit.
3. Mount the battery cover. Replace with new
batteries when the television set begins to show
the following symptoms: Operation is unsteady
or erratic. Sometimes the television set does not
function with remote control unit.
Remark:
1) Alkaline battery is recommended.
2) Remove batteries when they are exhausted or
if the remote control is not to be used for a long
period of time.

1. Connect one end of the RF coaxial cable (not
included) to the aerial socket on the wall and the
other end of the cable to the RF (75Ω) socket at
the rear right bottom view of your television.
2. Connect the main cable to the main socket after
you have completed all the connections.
3. In standby mode, press the POWER button on
the front right side panel of the television or the
button on the remote control to turn the television
on. The red LED indicator will turn blue.
4. The rst time you turn the television on, it will go
straight into the Installation Guide menu. (This
screen only appears when the television is turned
on for the rst time.)
5. Press buttons to select your desired OSD
language: English/Simplied Chinese/Traditional
Chinese.
6. Press buttons to select Auto Tuning and then
press OK button to start auto tuning. After tuning,
the screen will show the rst DTV channel.

options and then press OK.

• Auto Tuning
Search all the channels automatically. Press OK
button.
Note:
It will start the DTV tuning rstly, if you want to skip
the DTV tuning, press MENU button to interrupt
the tuning and go to ATV tuning.
All the stored channels will disappear after auto
tuning.
After auto tuning, the television will show the
contents of the rst DTV channel.
• DTV Manual Tuning
You can select a DTV channel, and then nd the
program in this channel.
Press buttons to change the channel number
or input the channel number. Press OK button to
search the programs.
Note:
Bad, Normal and Good means signal intensity.
• ATV Manual Tuning
Press buttons to select the channel number
for manual tuning. Press buttons to select
“Search” or “Fine Tune”, and then press
buttons to conrm.

• Picture Mode
There are 4 picture modes: Standard, Mild, User
and Dynamic. You can only adjust the picture
effect when “User” mode is selected.
Note: Tint is available in NTSC system only.
• Color Temperature
There are 4 color temperature modes: Cool,
Medium, Warm and User. You can only adjust the
color components when “User” mode is selected.
• Aspect Ratio
Selects the aspect ratio: Auto/Full/4:3.
• Noise Reduction
Selects the noise reduction level: Off / Low /
Middle / High.
• Screen (VGA mode)
Screen is available in VGA mode only. You can
adjust horizontal position, vertical position, size
and phase here.
• Energy Saving
There are 5 energy saving modes: Off / Low /
Standard / Middle / High.
• Dynamic Enhance Level
Press OK button to select dynamic enhance level:
Off / Low / Middle / High.
Note:
Press RED button to store the channels after
manual tuning.
• Program Edit
You can delete, rename, skip or assign any
programs as your favorite channels.
RED (Delete)
Press RED button, the highlighted channel will be
deleted.
GREEN (Rename)
Only ATV channels can be renamed. Move the
cursor to the channel, press GREEN button to
rename the channel.
Press buttons to choose the character. Press
buttons to move the cursor. Press MENU
button to exit edit. Press EXIT button to exit menu.
Note: ATV channels name can only contain 5
characters.
YELLOW (Move)
Press YELLOW button and then press
buttons to move to the selected channel. Press
YELLOW button to conrm.
BLUE (Skip)
Press buttons to choose the channels, press
BLUE button to skip this channel. The “ ” will
show on the right side of the channel.
Choose the skipped channel, press BLUE button
again, you can cancel the skip, the “ ” will
disappear.
FAVORITE
Press buttons to choose the channel, press
FAV button, it will show “ ” on the right side of
the channel.
Choose the FAV channel, press FAV button again,
you can cancel the FAV, “ ” will disappear.
Once your favorite group is created, you can press
FAV button to quickly access your favorite channel
list.

large or with distortion.
• Surround Sound
Selects surround sound type: Off/Surround/SRS
TruSurround HD.

Selects the digital audio output mode: PCM/Auto/

• Clock
The clock time will be set automatically after the
DTV channels are tuned.
• Off Time
Set the time to turn off the television automatically.
• On Time

• Sleep Timer
Selects a period of time after which the television
automatically switches to standby mode: Off / 10 /
20 … / 180 / 240 min.
• Auto Sleep
If “Auto Sleep” is set to on, the television will be
automatically powered off if there is no signal
within 5 minutes. In case of USB mode, the
television will be automatically powered off if there
is no operation within 30 minutes.

OPERATION
• PVR File System (DTV mode)
Allows you to select your preference in the PVR
le system.
Note:
Before using Time Shift Function or recording
function, it is necessary to rst format the USB
storage device. All the data in the USB storage
device is deleted after format has done.
• Restore Factory Default
Restore all settings to the factory defaults.
• OSD Time Out
Displays time of the on-screen menu: Off / 10s /
20s / … / 80s / 90s.
• Blue Screen
Press OK button to turn on/off blue screen.
1. Switch off the television before connecting any
USB storage device.
2. Connect your USB storage device to the USB
terminal of your television, and then switch on the
television.
3. Press INPUT button on the television or INPUT
button on the remote control, then press
buttons to select the USB mode and then press
OK button to enter multimedia center.
Note:
• The maximum supported storage space of the
hard disk is 1 TB.
• The le system only support FAT32 format.
• If you want to record a DTV program, the transfer
rate of the USB storage device must not be less
than 5MB/s, otherwise the picture and sound of
the program will be affected.
• Disconnect the USB storage device if it is not in
use.

Listening Music
1. Press INPUT button on the television or INPUT
button on the remote control, then press
buttons to select the USB mode and then press
OK button to enter multimedia center.
2. Press buttons to select MUSIC and then
press OK.
3. Press buttons to select your storage device
and then press OK. (All the connected USB
storage devices will be displayed here with name
“C”, “D”…)
4. Press buttons to select the music folder
and then press OK.
5. Press buttons to select the specied
music, a preview window will pop up.
6. Press button to start to play.
7. Press OK button or INFO button to display the
function bar. Press buttons and then OK
button to select the function: Pause / FB / FF /

The EPG menu is used to look at what is being
broadcasted on DTV Channel.
To access the EPG menu, press EPG button, the
following menu will be displayed.
1. RED (Recorder)
Press RED button to display the Recorder screen.
Press buttons to set up the recording
time. Press OK button to save the settings. A
Timer Success screen will display.

2. GREEN (Info)
Press buttons to choose the program, press
GREEN button to display the highlighted program’s
information.
3. YELLOW (Schedule)
Press YELLOW button to display the entire
schedule list. Press buttons to choose the
item, press RED button to delete the selected item.
Press YELLOW button to return to EPG menu.
4. BLUE (Reminder)
Press BLUE button to display the Reminder
Setting screen. Press buttons to set
up the reminder time. The screen will play the
selected program in the reminder automatically.
Press OK button to save the reminder. Press
BLUE button to return to EPG menu.

Recording DTV Program
Please make sure the USB device is inserted and
format is done. If not, a warning message will pop up.
1. Press button to record the program that you are
currently watching.
2. Press button to stop recording.
Play Recorded Program
You can play a recorded program from the recorded
list or from a USB storage device.
Play from the recorded list
1. Press PVR.LIST button to display the recorded
list.
• RED (Delete)
Press RED button to delete the selected
program.
• GREEN (Info)
Press GREEN button to display detailed
information of the selected program (if available).
• INDEX
Press INDEX button to select the category type:
Program / Channel / Time.
2. Press buttons to select the recorded program
that you want to play and then press button to
view.
