GENERAL AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Do not use this appliance for any use other than its intended purpose
When using electric appliances always observe safety regulations where applicable to reduce the risk of
fire, electric shock and personal injury. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate. Always unplug the appliance when not in use.
Supply Cord and Plug
Always unplug from mains supply when not in use. Do not abuse or damage the power cord. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Do not let the supply cord touch hot surfaces.
Children and Infirm Persons
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be
supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance, do not allow children to use the Appliance
without supervision
Water
Do not immerse appliance in water. Do not immerse any part of this appliance or supply cord
in water. Do not use with wet hands or use in damp situations.
Use and Environment
Before connecting the device to your power supply, please ensure that the supply voltage stated on
the rating plate is compatible with your mains supply.
Only insert the power supply unit into a socket when the appliance is switched off.
Only use the power supply unit supplied for the massager.
Keep the power supply unit, cable and appliance well away from heat, hot surfaces, moisture and
liquids.
Do not touch the power supply unit when you are standing in water and always take hold of the plug
with dry hands.
Do not take hold of a device if it falls into water. Pull out the power plug and the power supply unit
from the socket immediately.
Connect the device only in that way, so that the power plug is freely accessible.
Always switch off the appliance after use with the buttons on the control unit and unplug the power
supply unit.
To disconnect the unit from the power supply, always pull the plug out of the socket. Do not pull on
the cable!
Do not carry, pull or twist the device on the cable or the power supply unit.
You must not continue to use the unit if the lead or the mains adaptor is damaged. For safety
reasons, these parts may only be replaced by authorized service personnel. In order to prevent
hazards, always send the unit in to the service centre.
Ensure that the cable will not cause tripping. The cable must not be kinked, trapped or twisted.
Specific Groups of People
Do not use this unit to supplement or replace medical treatment.
Chronic complaints and symptoms may be made worse.
Do not use the massager, or only after consulting your doctor, if:

oyou are pregnant,
oyou have a cardiac pacemaker, artificial joints or electronic implants
oyou suffer from one or more of the following illnesses and complaints:
Circulation disorders,
varicose veins,
open wounds,
bruises, broken skin,
Inflammation of the veins.
Do not use the appliance near your eyes or near any other sensitive areas.
If you experience any pain or discomfort during the massage, stop immediately and consult your
doctor.
Take care when using the heating function. The appliance has hot surfaces. Do not use the
appliance on small children, vulnerable individuals or people who are not sensitive to heat.
Before using the massager, consult your doctor regarding any unexplained pain, if you are
undergoing medical treatment or using medical equipment.
Operating the Unit
The device must only be used for its intended purpose as described in the instruction manual.
Using the unit for any other purpose may void the warranty.
Only use the appliance in the proper place, as described in this instruction manual.
Do not use the appliance while you are asleep or when you are lying in bed.
Do not use the appliance before going to sleep. The massage has a stimulating effect.
Never use the appliance while driving a vehicle or operating a machine.
The maximum operating time for one session is 15 minutes. Prolonged use reduces the service life of
the appliance.
Very long periods of use can lead to overheating. Always allow the appliance to cool down before
using it again.
Never put the unit down next to an electric stove or other sources of heat.
Never leave the unit unattended if it is connected to the power supply.
Do not allow the massage cushion to come into contact with pointed or sharp objects.
Do not cover up the appliance when it is switched on. Never use it under blankets or cushions. There
is a risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
Make sure, that no fingers or other parts of the body come between the rotating massage heads.
Risk of injuries!
Do not use an external time switch or a separate remote control system to operate the appliance.
Damaged or Dropped
Always inspect your appliance before use. Check parts are correctly attached. Do not use this appliance
if it has been damaged, dropped, left outdoors or dropped in water. Return it to an authorised service
dealer for examination and repair.

OPERATION
Getting started
1. Insert the power supply unit plug into the connection for power supply on the backside
of the device.
2. Plug in the power supply unit.
3. Place the massager around the neck so that it has sufficient hold on the shoulders.
4. Guide your hands through the hand straps on right and left side. By pulling on the straps
you may stabilize the device in its position and adjust the massage intensity (pulling
stronger increases the massage intensity).
5. Press the ON-/OFF-button to switch on the device. The Shiatsu massage starts.
6. By pressing the ON-/OFF-button again, you may change the massage direction of the
massage heads. Press the ON-/OFF-button again to switch the appliance off.
7. To switch on the warming function, press the HEAT-button . The warming function
only works with active massage function and generates a comfortable, smooth warmth.
8. To switch off the warming function, press the HEAT-button again.

MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper operational order.
Before Cleaning
When not in use or before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply.
Never immerse the appliance or adapter in water or any other fluid, Do not rinse it under the
tap.
Cleaning
Regularly clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and dry it with a dry
towel. Do not immerse in water.
Never use brushes, aggressive cleaning agents, petrol, thinners or alcohol
Wait until the device is completely dry before using it again.
Undo any kinks in the cable.
Take care when rolling up the mains lead to avoid damaging it.
Store in a Safe Place
When not in use store your appliance and all its accessories and instruction manual in a safe
and dry place
