WARNUNG: Sicherheits-Check vor Fahrantritt
• Vor Fahrantritt müssen alle Befestigungsteile der Box überprüft werden.
• Sollten Schrauben und Muttern lose sein oder fehlen, müssen diese sofort ersetzt, bzw. festgezogen werden.
• Die Anleitung zur Befestigung der Box fi nden Sie auf der nächsten Seite.
• Achten Sie auf die maximale Zuladung der Box - diese darf nicht überschritten werden.
Siehe Warnaufkleber im Inneren der Box.
• Das zulässige Gesamtgewicht des Fahrzeugs (inkl. Gepäck und Beifahrer) darf unter keinen Umständen
überschritten werden. Diese Angaben fi nden Sie in Ihren Fahrzeugpapieren.
• Achten Sie auch auf das max. zulässige Gewicht des Herstellers Ihres Koff erträger Systems.
• Eventuell müssen Sie den Reifendruck nach Herstellerangaben anpassen.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE:
• Da sich das Fahrverhalten durch das zusätzliche Gewicht verändert, empfehlen wir vor einer längeren Reise zuerst
eine Probefahrt mit geringer Geschwindigkeit zu machen, um sich an das veränderte Fahrverhalten zu gewöhnen.
• Fahren Sie besonders vorsichtig bei Regen oder bei stärkerem Wind, da die Windangriff sfl äche durch die Box
vergrößert wird.
• Überschreiten Sie nie die maximal empfohlene Geschwindigkeit von 110 km/h.
• Sollten Sie ungewöhnliche Geräusche (Klappern) von der Box oder der Halteplatte wahrnehmen, halten Sie sofort
an einem sicheren Ort an und überprüfen Sie sämtliche Anbauteile.
• Transportieren Sie niemals explosives Material (Gas, Benzin, etc.) in Ihrer Box.
• Beachten Sie auch, dass sich die Box bei Sonneneinstrahlung im Inneren stark erhitzt.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE:
Um den Benutzer zu schützen und Beschädigungen an Ihrem Fahrzeug zu vermeiden weisen wir auf folgende Punkte hin:
• Durch die Vielfalt der verschiedenen Fahrzeugtypen und deren Aufbau kann es zu Schwierigkeiten bei der korrekten
Montage kommen. Um eine fehlerhafte Montage zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir das Top Case von einer Fachwerkstatt
anbauen zu lassen. Es ist darauf zu achten, dass weder der Rahmen, Rahmenteile, der Auspuff , die Stoßdämpfer oder
sonstige Bauteile des Fahrzeugs negativ beeinträchtigt werden.
• Zum Reinigen der Box nur mildes Seifenwasser verwenden. Aggressive Reiniger können die Festigkeit und die
Oberfl äche der Box zerstören.
ANBAUANLEITUNG:
Sorgen Sie vor der Montage für einen sicheren Stand ihres Fahrzeugs.
• Zuerst muss die Halteplatte mit Hilfe der Halteklammern „K“ und der Schrauben an einem geeigneten
Koff erträger befestigt werden. Die Halteplatte muss mittig auf dem Träger sitzen (Bild 1 + 2).
• Die Schrauben müssen fest angezogen werden, jedoch nie mit Gewalt.
• Nun kann die Box am hinteren Teil der Halteplatte eingehakt werden (Bild 3).
• Ziehen sie nun an dem Ringbolzen „R“, drücken die Box nach unten auf die Halteplatte und lassen dann den
Ringbolzen wieder los, dieser muss einrasten (Bild 4). Überprüfen sie den sicheren Halt der Box indem sie versuchen
die Box nach oben zu ziehen.

• Öffnen des Deckels: Schlüssel nach links drehen und die Lasche „L1“ kurz nach oben ziehen und loslassen.
Jetzt kann der Deckel geöffnet werden.
• Schließen des Deckels: Erst den unteren Teil der Lasche „L1“ leicht anheben und gleichzeitig den oberen Teil
der Lasche „L2“ gegen den Koffer drücken (die Lasche hakt sich im Deckel ein). „L2“ gedrückt halten und gleichzeitig
die Lasche „L1“ wieder nach unten drücken (Bild 5).
• Nun kann der Schlüssel nach rechts gedreht werden um das Schloss zu verriegeln.
WICHTIG:
• Lassen Sie nie die Schlüssel in der Box liegen.
• Bewahren Sie den Ersatzschlüssel an einem sicheren Ort auf.
• Um Beschädigungen am Transportgut zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir Ihr Gut wasserdicht und stoßfest zu verpacken.

CAUTION: Safety check before riding
• Before riding your motorcycle, tug at your box to ensure that it is locked and secure (For proper locking procedures
see next page diagrams 1-5).
• Do not overload the box. Follow the recommended maximum load capacity
(See warning sticker inside the box).
• Always check the tyre pressures of your vehicle according to manufacturer’s recommendations when carrying a
full load.
• Follow the max. gross weight allowed by the motorcycle manufacturer (i. e. including luggage and pillion). Under
no circumstances should the gross weight exceed the recommended maximum.
• Inspect the racks fi tted on your motorcycle for loose nuts and bolts and to ensure all mountings are tight and secure.
PRECAUTION: Safety while riding
• Because of the extra load on your motorcycle, ride around for a short distance to get used to the handling and
to check for stability before leaving for a trip.
• Motorcycles fi tted with accessories or luggage are more susceptible to crosswinds, so be extra careful when riding
in wet and windy conditions.
• Fitting top boxes and side bags will alter the overall girth of your motorcycle, so be aware of the extra width when
riding between congested traffi c lanes.
• Never exceed a maximum speed of 110 km/h when carrying a full load.
• Stop your motorcycle immediately (choose a safe place) if you hear of any loose rattling sound coming from your
tail box or rack.
• Do not carry fl ammable or explosive materials and gas cylinders in the boxes while riding.
IMPORTANT CAUTIONS WHILE RIDING:
In order to protect the user and avoid damage to the original structure of the motorcycle, we would like to point
out the following:
• Our product is the result of the assembly of various components. Therefore the welded points and bends, as well
as the diff erent motorcycle chassis can cause assembly diffi culties. For the correct fi tting procedure we suggest to
rely on qualifi ed personnel and to check carefully that the kit components do not interfere negatively or contact with
the original parts of the motorcycle (frame, silencers, frame works, shock absorbers etc.). If any problem arises, for
example fi tting problems or if in doubt, never make changes by yourself, but always contact the manufacturer, an
agent or dealer. Under no circumstances should damaged cases or damaged fi tting kits be reused.
• For the cleaning of the top box never use solvents, petrol or other chemical products that could damage it. We advise
the use of a neutral cleaner (just water with mild soap).
INSTALLATION MANUAL:
Ensure a safe stand of your vehicle before you start mounting the box.
• Fix the base plate with the clamp „K“ and the screws at a suitable rack. The base plate must be centred on the
rack (pic. 1 + 2).
• Tighten the screws fi rmly, but without excessive force.
• Place the case over the base plate and hook it into the lug at the rear side of the base plate (pic. 3).
• Pull and hold the ring bolt „R“
pushing the box down to the base plate simultaneously. Release the ring bolt
afterwards. It should now be engaged properly (pic. 4).
• Opening the top lid: Turn the key anti-clockwise, slightly lift the clip „L1“ and then relase it. The box can be
opened now.
• Closing the top lid: Slightly lift the clip „L1“ and press the clip „L2“ against the box simultaneously (The clip
„L2“ hooks into the lid now). Press and hold the clip „L2“ and press the the clip „L1“ downwards again (pic. 5).
• Now you can turn the key clockwise in order to secure the lock.
IMPORTANT:
• Never leave the keys inside your box.
• Keep one spare key in a safe place.
• To avoid any damage on your carried goods, always cover your goods water and shock proof.
