1. Safety Precautions
WARNING: TIPPING OVER
Always be sure to install this SBL750L-M Light Tower to Generator/Trailer set before
use.
Lower the mast if using in strong wind that causes the lamp fitting to sway severely.
Although the mast can withstand wind speeds up to 15 m/s when the mast is
completely extended (with the balloon standing vertically), the balloon fabric can be
deformed in wind speeds of 12 to 14 m/s and entangled in the lamp guard. Never use
this equipment in wind speeds of 10 m/s (roughly the wind speed at which the balloon
fabric starts to deform) or more in order to prevent damage from LED heat and
provide safety by preventing the LED from tipping over.
Use on a level surface with a solid foundation. If it is absolutely necessary to use on
an inclined surface, adjust the Light Tower so that it is leveled by setting blocks under
the wheels to avoid inclining mast (standing vertically).
Always be sure to lower the mast to the lowest position when moving.
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not touch this Light Tower during operation if equipment or your body is wet.
Do not plug or unplug the power plug with a wet hand.
Do not use the power cord if it is damaged or worn.
Do not connect the power cord to the outlet when performing any check or
maintenance of the LED and other parts.
WARNING: IMPAIRED EYESIGHT
Do not work for an extended period of time near the LED and do not look directly into
the LED.
Do not turn on the LED while balloon fabric is removed. Looking directly into a LED
light source can cause dizziness.
CAUTION: INJURY
Do not touch the mast, winch drum or wire when the mast is moving up/down.
To change the direction of the lamp fitting, hold the lamp fitting lever with one hand
and support the lamp fitting while loosening the fixing handles (rotation and tilt
handles).
Do not adopt an unnatural posture when adjusting the direction of the lamp fitting.
When changing the LED illumination angel, be careful not to insert your fingers
between the LED plate and LED mounting stay.
Do not modify the Light Tower and do not operate with parts removed.
CAUTION: BURNS
Do not touch the LED, lamp guard when the LED is lit up or immediately
after being turned off because they are extremely hot.
CAUTION: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not sprinkle water on the equipment and do not use where exposed to rain.
CAUTION: FIRE
Be careful that the power cord is not caught or pulled when raising or lowering the
telescopic mast or transporting the Light Tower. Doing so could result in faulty power
cord connection, internal severed wire or short circuit due to heat, or similar fault.

7. Operating Procedures (Light Tower)
WARNING: TIPPING OVER
Always be sure to install this SBL750L-M Light Tower to Generator/Trailer set
before use.
Lower the mast if using in strong wind that causes the lamp fitting to sway
severely.
Although the mast can withstand wind speeds up to 15 m/s when the mast is
completely extended (with the balloon standing vertically), the balloon fabric
can become deformed in wind speeds of 12 to 14 m/s and entangled in the
lamp guard. Never use this equipment in wind speeds of 10 m/s (roughly the
wind speed at which the balloon fabric starts to deform) or more in order to
prevent damage from LED heat and provide safety by preventing the LED
from tipping over.
Use on a level surface with a solid foundation. If it is absolutely necessary to
use on an inclined surface, adjust Light Tower/Generator so that it is leveled
by setting blocks under the wheels to avoid inclining mast (standing vertically).
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not touch this Light Tower during operation if equipment or your body is
wet.
Do not plug or unplug the power plug with a wet hand.
Do not use the power cord if it is damaged or worn.
Do not connect the power cord to the outlet when performing any check or
maintenance of the LED and other parts.
WARNING: IMPAIRED EYESIGHT
Do not work for an extended period of time near the LED and do not look
directly into the LED.
Do not turn on the LED with the balloon fabric removed. Looking directly into a
LED light source can cause dizziness.
CAUTION: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not sprinkle water on the equipment and do not use where exposed to rain.
<Note>
Using in wind speeds from 12 to 14 m/s can result in the balloon fabric becoming
deformed and entangled in the lamp guard, resulting in damage from the heat of the LED.
Lower the mast to use the Light Tower when the air wind speed is 10 m/s (roughly the
wind speed at which the balloon fabric starts to deform) or more. Stop using if the balloon
fabric will deform even if the mast has been lowered.
When storing at outside, be sure to always secure the balloon fabric by using the buckle
and cover the equipment. This is to prevent the service life of the balloon fabric from
being reduced by the wind and ultra-violet rays.
Do not connect the generator to any other electrical equipment while the balloon Light
Tower generator is lit up. Using for electric tools or other equipment at the same time
causes a high current to flow when started, causing the LED to go out.

11
7-1. Turning on the LED
Perform a pre-operation inspection before using the LED. (Refer to "10.
Inspection/Maintenance".)
Remove the lamp fitting cover.
(Refer to "6-1. Removing the Lamp Fitting Cover".)
Remove the bundling buckle and securing the
balloon fabric.
Adjust the lamp fitting direction (vertical angle
and rotation). (Refer to "5-1. Using the Lamp
Fitting".)
<Note>
Connecting the power cord and with the Output switch at "ON" causes sparks to be
generated between the outlet and plug. Always be sure that the Output switch is "OFF"
before connecting the power cord.
Connect the power cord to the outlet.
Turn the toggle switch to "ON" to turn on the LED.
Raise the mast and adjust the lamp fitting to the desired height.
(Refer to "5-2. Lifting/Lowering the Mast".)
7-2. Turning off the LED
Lower the mast. (Refer to "5-2. Lifting/Lowering the Mast".)
Turn the toggle switch to "OFF" to turn off the LED.
<Note>
Do not turn off the LED by removing the power
plug. Doing so causes sparks to be generated
between the outlet and plug.
After turning the LED off, open the balloon fabric zipper, and wait five minutes for the
LED to cool down.
<Note>
Bundling up the balloon fabric immediately causes balloon fabric worn out due to the
heat of the LED.
Place the lamp fitting so that it is horizontal. (Refer to "5-1. Using the Lamp Fitting".)
Wrap the balloon fabric around the lamp guard and bundle it by using the buckle.
Cover with the lamp fitting cover. (Cover in the reverse order of removal.)
<Note>
When closing the zipper, be careful that the balloon fabric is not caught in the zipper.
As the cord stopper might slide out of position, use the cord stopper to make the cover
opening smaller before tying off the cord.

8. Transport Procedures (Moving on a Vehicle)
WARNING: TIPPING OVER
Always be sure to keep the mast to the lowest position when moving.
CAUTION: FIRE
Be careful that the power cord is not caught or pulled when raising or lowering
the telescopic mast or transporting the floodlight. Doing so could result in
faulty power cord connection, internal severed wire or short circuit due to heat,
or similar fault.
<Note>
Do not give any shock to the lamp fitting. An impact
to the LED could result in LED damage.
Be sure to always cover the lamp fitting when
transporting on a vehicle, and secure the front
edge of the lamp fitting is facing the direction of
movement of the vehicle.
Transporting on a vehicle with no external cover
can result in the balloon fabric worn out by the wind
and resulting damage.
Setting the lamp fitting in the opposite direction can
result in the wind penetrating through the cover
opening, causing the cover to blow off and also damage to the balloon fabric.
Securely tighten the handles (rotation and tilt handles) for securing the lamp fitting when
transporting on a vehicle. Insecure tightening can result in the lamp fitting moving,
causing to fall off from the vehicle or severe damage.
9. Lamp Fitting Installing/Removing Procedures
Perform the following procedures to remove the balloon lamp fitting when it is installed to a
stand or pole. Install by performing the procedures in the reverse order.
Keep the mast to the lowest position.
(Refer to "5-2. Lifting/Lowering the Mast".)
Secure the lamp fitting at an angle slightly
raised above level. (Refer to "5-1. Using
the Lamp Fitting".)
<Note>
If the lamp fitting is lowered to level,
removing the nut and bolt in Step can
result in the lamp fitting slipping and falling
off.
Remove the upper part from the lamp
fitting except tilt part as shown. While
removing the nut and bolt, support the
lamp fitting base to keep balance, before
remove from the shaft.
