1. Turnoff themainpower.
2. Unscrewall thescrews(A)and openthebase-housing cover(B).
3. Unplug all theconnect wires(C)that fromthearmtoPCboardand igniter.
4. Unscrewthescrews(D)that fixthebridge(E).
5. Unscrewthescrews(F)that fixtheaxisgear(G).
6. Changeanewbelt (H)bygoing through all connecting wiresthat fromthearmtobase,
and through thebridgeforcorrect position.
7. Set up thegearaxistothebridgeand screwedit. Note: do not press thebelt.
8. Put thebelt around theaxisgearand motorgear.
9. Plug all theconnect wires(C)that formthearmtoPCboardand igniter.
10. Adjust thepan homeposition.
11.Screwthebase-housing cover(B).

6. Troubleshooting
Following areafewcommon problemsthatmayoccurduring operation. Hereare
somesuggestionsforeasytroubleshooting:
A. Theunitdoes notwork, no lightand thefandoes notwork
1.Check theconnection of powerand mainfuse.
2.Measurethemainsvoltageon themainconnector.
3.Check thepoweron LED.
B. Notresponding toDMXcontroller
1.DMXLEDshouldbeon. If not, check DMXconnectors, cablestosee if linkproperly.
2.If theDMXLEDison and no responsetothechannel, check theaddress settingsand
DMXpolarity.
3.If you haveintermittent DMXsignalproblems, check thepinson connectorsoron PCB
of theunit orthepreviousone.
4.TrytouseanotherDMXcontroller.
5.Check if theDMXcablesrun nearorrun alongsidetohigh voltagecablesthat may
causedamageorinterferencetoDMXinterfacecircuit.
C. Someunitsdon trespond totheeasycontroller
1.You mayhaveabreakintheDMXcabling. Check theLEDfortheresponseof the
master/ slavemodesignal.
2.Wrong DMXaddress intheunit. Set theproperaddress.
D. Noresponse tothesound
1.Makesuretheunit doesnot receiveDMXsignal.
2.Check microphonetosee if it isgood bytapping themicrophone
E. Oneofthechannelsisnotworking well
1.Thesteppermotormight bedamagedorthecableconnectedtothePCBisbroken.
2.Themotor sdriveICon thePCBmight beout of condition.
F. Thelampiscutting outintermittently
1.Thelampisnot working well. Check themainvoltageeithertoo high ortoo low.
2.Internaltemperaturemaybetoo high. Check and if necessaryreplacethefan on the
head.
2.1Inserting/Exchanging rotating gobos
DANGER!
Install thegoboswiththedevice switchedoffonly.
Unplugfrommainsbeforechanging gobos!
Openthecoverbyloosening thefastening screwat thesidesof thecover.
If you wishtouseotherformsand patternsasthestandard-gobos, orif thegobosaretobe
exchanged,removethefixation ring withan appropriatetool.Removethegobo and insertthe
newgobo. Press thefixation-ring togetherand insert it inthefront of thegobo.
CAUTION!
Neverunscrew thescrewsoftherotating gobo astheball bearing
will otherwisebeopened!

Becauseof itshigh internalpressure, theremight bearisk that theDischargelamp
wouldexplodeduring operation.ThelampemitsintenseUVradiation whichisharmfulto
theeyesand skin.Thehigh luminanceofthearccan causeseveredamagetotheretina
if looks directlyat thelamp.

1.Always switchoff themainsupplyand neverhandle
thelamporluminarieswhenishot.
2.Donot touchthebulbwithbarehands. If this
happens,clean thelampwithdenaturedalcoholand
wipeit withalint free clothbeforeinstallation.
3.ThelampgeneratesUVradiation. Neveroperatethe
lampwithout appropriateshielding.
4.Whenburning, thelampoperatesat high pressureand
thereisaslight risk of arctuberupture.Therisk
increaseswithage,temperatureand improperhandling
of thelamp. Donot usethelampanylongerthan its
specifiedlife.
5.Make surethelampislocatedinthecenterofthe
reflectorforthebestspot.Adjustlampposition by
screwsA, Band C.
5.5DMX512 Connection
TheDMX512 iswidelyusedinintelligent lighting control, withamaximumof 512 channels.
1.If you useacontrollerwith5pinsDMXconnector, you needtousea5to3pinadapter.
2.Atlastunit, theDMXcablehastobeterminatedwithaterminator.Soldera120-ohm1/4W
resistorbetweenpin2(DMX-) and pin3(DMX+)intoa3-pinXLR-plug and plug it inthe
DMX-output of thelast unit.
3.Connect theunit togetherina “daisy chain”byXLRplug fromtheoutput of theunit tothe
input of thenext unit. Thecablecan not branchedorsplittoa “Y”cable.DMX512 isavery
high-speedsignal. Inadequateordamagedcables, solderedjointsorcorrodedconnectors
can easilydistort thesignaland shut downthesystem.
4.TheDMXoutput and input connectorsarepass-through tomaintaintheDMXcircuit, when
powerisdisconnectedtotheunit.
5.Eachlighting unit needstohavean address set toreceivethedatasent bythecontroller.
Theaddress numberisbetween0-511(usually0&1areequalto1).
6.Theend of theDMX512 systemshouldbeterminatedtoreducesignalerrors.
7.3pinXLRconnectorsaremorepopularthan 5pinsXLR.
3pinXLR: Pin1: GND, Pin2: Negativesignal(-), Pin3: Positivesignal(+)

AnuniversalDMXcontrollertocontroltheunits, you havetoset DMXaddress from1to512
channelsothat theunitscan receiveDMXsignal.
Press the MENU button up towhenthe isshowing on thedisplay. Pressing ENTER
button and thedisplaywill blink. Use DOWN and UP button tochangetheDMX512 address.
Oncetheaddress hasbeenselected, press and keep ENTER button pressedup towhenthe
displaystopsblinking orstoring automatically8secondslater.Togo back tothefunctions
without anychangepress the MENU button again. Pleaserefertothefollowing diagramto
address yourDMX512 channelforthefirst 4units.
DMXaddress can besetting remotelybyIL-0824 controller. NoneedtocalculatetheDMX
channelsof eachfixtureinthechain.

5. How To Control TheUnit
You can operatetheunit inthree ways:
1. Bymaster/slavebuilt-inpreprogramfunction
2. Byeasy controller
3. ByiLead controller(pleaserefertotheuserguideof iLead )orbyuniversalDMX
controller
Noneedtoturntheunit off whenyou changetheDMXaddress,asnewDMXaddress setting
will beeffectedat once. Everytimeyou turntheunit on, it will showIM8S/ IM7Son the
displayand moveall themotorstotheir ‘home position and you mayhearsomenoisesfor
about 20 seconds.Afterthat theunit will bereadytoreceiveDMXsignalorrun thebuilt-in
programs.
5.1Master/Slave Built-In Preprogrammed Function
You can select blackout mode in (yesblackout)or (no blackout)
modewhiletheunit isturnedon. Bylinking theunitsinmaster/slaveconnection,thefirstunit
will controltheotherunitstogivean automatic, sound activated, synchronizedlight show.
Thisfunction isgood whenyou wantan instantshow.You havetoselect (show1)or
(show2)or (show3)or (show4)modebyeasy controller. Its
DMXinputjack will havenothing pluggedintoit, and ItsmasterLEDwill beconstantlyon and
sound LEDwill flashtothemusic.Theotherunitswill havetosetinslavemode and
select (normal)or (2light show)mode,TheirDMXcablespluggedintothe
DMXinput jacks (daisy chain)and theslaveLEDlightswill constantlyon.
2-lightshow
In (slavemode), meanstheunitworks normallyand means2-light
show. Inordertocreateagreat light show, you can set on thesecond unit toget
contrast movement toeachother, evenif you havetwounitsonly.
5.2Easy Controller
Theeasy remotecontrollerisusedonlyinmaster/slavemode. By
connecting tothe1/4”microphonejack ofthefirstunit, you will find that
theremotecontrolon thefirst unit will controlall theotherunitsfor
Stand by, Function and Mode.
ShowMode
Press the MENU button up towhenthe isshowing on thedisplay. Pressing ENTER
button and thedisplaywill blink.Use DOWN and UP button toselectthe (show1)or
(show2)or (show3)or (show4)mode. Oncethemodehasbeen
selected, press the ENTER button tosetup orautomaticallyreturntothemainfunctions
without anychangeafter8seconds.Togo back tothefunctionswithout anychangepress
the MENU button again.
Show1mode-Fixtureisplacedon thefloor.Tilt movement angle210°.
Show2mode-Fixtureisfixedunderceiling.Tilt movement angle90°.
Show3mode-Fixtureisplacedon thespeaker,Thespot isalways projecting to
theaudience sdirection; i.einfront of thestage. Pan movement angel(left to
righttoleft ): 160°.Tilt movement angel:90°(60°abovehorizon; 30°below
horizon.)
Show4mode-Fixtureisfixedunderceiling.Thespotismainlyprojecting infront
of thestage. Pan movement angel(left toright toleft ):160°.Tilt movement
angel: 90°(vertically, front 75°; back 15°)
Slave Mode
Press the MENU button up towhenthe isshowing on thedisplay. Pressing ENTER
button and thedisplaywill blink. Use DOWN and UP button toselectthe (normal)or
(2light show)mode. Oncethemodehasbeenselected, press the ENTER button to
setup orautomaticallyreturntothemainfunctionswithoutanychangeafter8seconds.Togo
back tothefunctionswithout anychangepress the MENU button again.
BlackoutMode
Press the MENU button up towhenthe isshowing on thedisplay. Pressing ENTER
button and thedisplaywill blink. Use DOWN and UP button toselect the (yes
blackout)or (no blackout)mode. Oncethemodehasbeenselected, press the
ENTER button tosetup orautomaticallyreturntothemainfunctionswithoutanychangeafter
8seconds.Togo back tothefunctionswithout anychangepress the MENU button again.
