A. On your desktop PC or laptop, set the Local Area Connection IPV4 settings.
1. Click on the Start icon on the lower left hand corner on a Windows operating system.
2. In the Search programs and files box type Network and Sharing Center window and then click the link
3. Click on Local Area Connection.
4. Click on Properties.
5. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click on Properties.
6. Select Use the following IP address: and enter 192.168.1.XXX in the IP Address (choose an IP address
not already in use). The Subnet Mask will default to 255.255.255.0, leave the Gateway blank and click
OK.
