Creating a room
GAMMA wave devices, i.e. socket outlet
switches, actuators (e.g. remote control-
led switches) and sensors (e.e. door/win-
dow contacts), are assigned to the room
"No Room" in the delivery status. You can
edit the room name or assign new room
names in order to organize the devices
in accordance with their installation
location.
The next steps can be omitted if you want
to use the default room "No Room".
q Choose Rooms and press §OK§.
q Choose <New Room> and press
§OK§.
~Enter the name of the room
in which the door/window
contact is located
(max. 16 characters,
e.g. living room).
§OK§ Press this button. The speci-
fied room is now created.
aPress the end call key briefly
to jump up a menu level.
Creating the door/window contact
q Choose Devices and press §OK§.
q Choose <New Device> and press
§OK§.
~Press §Edit§, enter the device
name (max. 16 characters,
e.g. Window1) and confirm
with §OK§.
q Navigate to the input field
Room:.
rSelect the room in which the
door/window contact is
located (e. g. the room
just created).
q Navigate to the Typ: input
field.
rChoose Sensor.
§Save§ Press this button to save the
changes and confirm the
query as to whether you want
to link the device immediately
with §Yes§.
§OK§ Press this button to start the
link process. Then press the
button on the door/window
contact with a pointed object
for at least three seconds.
If the link process is successful,
this is indicated on the
handset.
Displaying the status of a door/window
contact

The GAMMA wave menu is displayed.
q Choose Device status and
press §OK§.
q Choose Window Contacts and
press §OK§.
The room in which the door/
window contact is located is
shown on the display together
with its status (Shut or Open).
aPress and hold (> 3 seconds)
the end call key.
Creating alarm messages for door/
window contacts
You can choose specific states, which are
to activate the sending of a message
(e.g. window open).
