Panel Interface Module PIM 041-W
The Panel Interface Module (PIM) is an attachable CPU for SIGMATEK touch panels (TP).
This module operates with a high-performance Intel Celeron dual-core processor.
The available interfaces are used, among other things, to forward process data. A generous
M.2 hard drive serves as the storage medium for the operating system, application and
application data.
In combination with a SIGMATEK TP, the 2 components form a multi-touch operating panel
for visualizing, operating and monitoring automated processes. The SIGMATEK TPs are
available in various models and a can be mounted or exchanged in the field with minimal
effort.

In combination with a machine, the machine builder must comply with EN
60204-1 standards.
For your own safety and that of others, compliance with the environmental
conditions is essential.
The control cabinet must be connected to ground correctly.
To perform maintenance or repairs, disconnect the system from the power
supply.

This PIM provides a USB interface via the Panel Interface Connector. If the TP

CAUTION

are NOT ESD-protected and can only be unpacked and handled in an

INFORMATION
It should be noted that many of the USB devices on the market do not
comply with USB specifications; this can lead to device malfunctions. This
may cause the device to malfunction. It is also possible that these devices
will not be detected at the USB port or function correctly. It is therefore
recommended that every USB stick or USB supply be tested before actual
use.
