X-treme AZ68

We thank you for buying mobile phone X-treme AZ68. This
manual includes description of main mobile phone functions.
The phone X-treme AZ68 allows to use 2 SIM cards of GSM
standard at Dual Standby mode, i.e., in standby mode there
are 2 cards in the connection; during the call 1 card works in
active mode, 1 other card are unavailable.
The content of this manual is right. The description of some
functions may differ due to changes in software or provider
services. The company keeps the right to arrange changes in
technical specifications without previous warning.
Key remarks in security technics.
This phone is designed to make and receive calls, to send
messages, to access the Internet etc.
The following instructions for service designed to help you
to use the device properly without threats for people`s
safety and property, and to keep the device working
Please read this section and strictly follow the instructions.
The phone does not contain harmful substances.
Do not use the phone in the storm outdoors; do not
expose the battery to high temperatures, hazardous and
flammable liquids.
Turn off the phone in case the phone usage may cause
interference or dangerous.
Do not put the battery, mobile phone and charger in a
microwave oven or high pressure equipment, or may
cause circuit damage and fire and other accidents.

Do not try to open the body of the phone. If the phone
or any of the accessories are not working properly,
contact your nearest authorized service center.
Use only accessories and chargers, that is designed for
this model. Do not use defected USB-cables or chargers.
Please do not short circuit battery equipment.
Interference might be caused by poor shielding
performance of medical devices such as hearing aids and
heart pacemakers in the use of radio frequency devices
including mobile phones. Consult medical device
manufacturer or your doctor before using mobile phone.
Please turn off the phone in which place posted notice
required to. These places include hospitals and rest
homes and other medical establishments. Because these
facilities may be using equipment sensitive to external RF
signal.
Do not use mobile phones while driving. Follow the rules
for using mobile phones while driving.
Keep your phone and all its parts and accessories out
from children and pets. They may accidentally damage
these things or choke small details.
Do not wash the phone while charging. It may cause the
electric shock. Be confident that USB-cable and charger
are off, before using the device
Do not use chemical reagents or abrasive cleanser,
otherwise it may damage the cabinet. Use only a damp or
anti-static cloth to wipe the mobile phone. Do not use dry
cloth with static electricity to wipe the phone.

Please do not put the mobile phone under direct
sunlight.
To avoid of getting heavy metals, acids, lye in water or
soil, causing significant damage to the environment,
utilize used battery according to the law. The legal
liability arises in case of infraction about the utilization
norms.
For information about safe utilization of lithium-ion
batteries can be obtained at your nearest qualified
service center.
ATTENTION!
The telephone is water- and- dust –proof according to the
IP68 Standard.
Standard doesn’t state shock-proof option. Because of the
additional strong seals and fastenings, the mobile phone has
higher vibration persistency, but it is required to be accurate
in using. Please, be careful with the screw caps and also
follow the general rules of safety measures.
In case of water penetration into your phones has been
caused not by the factory defects, but mechanic damages or
not fully closed caps, the warranty repair will not be possible.

Inserting SIM cards and memory card

Power on\off the device
To power on the device press and keep button «power» until
activation of device display.
To power off press and keep button «power» until shutdown.

Device blocking occurs automatically (if auto-lock is on) or by
pressing the Cancel key (if set in Settings). Unlocking - by
turning the LSK and the "*" key.
Calling
To call - dial number on digital keyboard in local or
international format, or choose number from phone contacts
list, and press Call button or . To cancel call
–press Cancel button. You can also make a call from the
Contacts menu by selecting the contact you want
During call it is also possible to: switch volume in a
speakerphone mode, start conversation record, add more
persons to conference conversation, turn off\switch on
microphone and etc.
Main menu
To access the device's menu, press the left soft key or the
center navigation key.
The menu has the following sections:
Contacts: phone book of telephone contacts and SIM-cards;
Multimedia: In this menu, media features of the device are
gathered: video camera, gallery, audio player, video player,
FM radio, voice recorder.
Call logs: register incoming, outgoing and missed calls;
Settings: call settings, display settings, phone settings,
security settings, profiles, network

Messaging: for sending SMS messages and reading incoming
messages;
Profiles: Configure audio profiles
Games
Camera. Separate menu for launch camera
Tools: alarm clock, calendar, Internet browser, flashlight,
calculator, files manager, Bluetooth, SIM menu
Contacts
The Contacts menu is your phone book, which contains
contacts stored in the phone and on SIM cards. The phone
memory is designed to store 500 contacts.
Contacts are in alphabetical order. The search bar allows you
to find contacts. To switch the method / language of the
search press the # key
Adding a new contact: Choose "New" in the options, choose
a place to save the contact, enter a name and phone number,
press Options—Save.
For one contact, you can add the following information:
Name (line length - 50 characters), Phone number, Group,
Icon, Ringtone
To view the contact, select the cursor and press the center
navigation key.
For a call, press the call button.
Additional options open with the left soft key.
New message: Create and send a text message to the contact.
Edit: edit the contact

Delete: delete the selected contact.
Copy: Copy contact between phone and SIM card.
It also has the ability to: View memory status and delete all
contacts, make backups - export - or restore contacts - import
- (only if there is a memory card)
When backing up contacts in the root of the memory card, a
system file named vcard.vcf is created. When restoring
contacts, information is taken from the same file.
Multimedia
Caution: It is desirable to use the following functions in the
menu "Multimedia" under the condition of the installed
memory card.
This section contains applications for working with photos,
videos and sound.
Video camera - to record a video.
Images - to view images.
Audio player - for listening to music files
To play / pause, press the center key. To move to the next /
previous file - Right / Left. To create a playlist, copy the music
files to the audio folder on the memory card. To change the
settings, go to List-Options - Settings
Video player - to view video clips.
FM radio - to listen to FM radio stations

Note! In this model, FM radio operates with a built-in
antenna. To improve the reception quality, you may need to
connect a wired headset as an antenna. The sound of the FM
radio and audio player is transferred to the external speaker
and wired headset.
To turn on / off, press the center key. To search for radio
stations, press Right / Left. Use the Up / Down keys to adjust
the volume. The Options menu has the ability to
automatically and manually search channels, view saved
stations, record files in a file and enable / disable background
playback.
Voice recorder - for recording sound.
Call logs
Call logs menu contains incoming, outgoing and missed calls
register, counter GPRS traffic and allows: dial contact number,
send SMS-messages, add new number to contacts, add
number to black list, delete information about call and etc.
Settings
Calls. The menu allows you to configure the number of active
SIM cards, divert options, call barring, auto-dialing, and more.
Phone: contains date and time settings, interface language,
shortcut key settings, scheduling power on / off settings. Also,
this menu allows you to reset to factory settings (WARNING.
Reset code 1122)

Display: Background settings, display contrast, screen
backlighting and keystrokes
Security: Provides the ability to set up SIM card lock, lock the
phone, auto-lock, and lock certain phone functions. This
menu also contains the Blacklist menu.
Connections: allows you to set up GPRS, specify a default data
transfer card, set up an account for data transmission,
choose a way to select a network-manual or automatic.
Messaging
This menu contains everything you need to send, store, view
and delete SMS messages.
New SMS: Select to write and send (or save) a new message.
Inbox: Folder with received messages.
Outbox: Folders with sent messages.
Drafts: incomplete messages.
Sent: Messages that have been sent.
Settings: settings for sending SMS
The Settings menu allows you to set the SMS center numbers
for both SIM cards, set the validity period of the message,
configure receipt of the delivery status report, adjust the
settings for saving messages, switch off or enable push
messages.
Profiles
The menu is intended to adjust the sound profiles, i.e.
volume settings, ringtones, vibrate mode, key sound and

system for different phone usage conditions such as: outdoor,
indoors, silence, and more. It is possible to edit the built-in
settings. To do this, press Options and Settings. To activate
the set of settings, you must select a profile in the menu and
press the center button.
Games
In this menu there is an opportunity to try the game
"Sokoban"
Camera
Note: To take a picture, you need to install a memory card
To capture a photo, press the center key. Press Options to go
to the settings
Tools
The following programs are available in this menu:
Alarm clock - allows you to set up several alarms.
Calendar - to view the calendar. It is possible to create / edit
/ view events
Internet browser
Calculator - for arithmetic calculations.
SIM menu
My files. File manager allows to work with files in phone
memory and in memory card. Following operations are
available: copying, moving, deleting, creating files, or setting
melodies as phone ringtones
Bluetooth - setup, device review, device connection
Torch on/off

Troubleshooting
Following recommendations may help to solve some
problems with phone independently. In case problems
occurs try to solve it yourself with following
recommendations. If problem is not solved, contact to Sigma
mobile service center.
Check whether battery is charged and whether problem
continues after device reset.
Try to restore factory settings through menu «Settings -
phone –Default settings» (password by default – 1122)
Problems with memory card mostly occurs in case of memory
card breakage. Thus, firstly check given card separately. Also
recommended to: take off and insert memory card in port,
check whether card is put in port correctly, reload phone.
Phone does not power on: check battery charge, repeatedly
connect charging device, and wait at least 10 minutes. Press
and keep the button «Power on» not less than 5 second. If
device does not power on contact in service center.
Battery discharges rapidly: reasons for increased battery
charges may be: low air temperature, active using of media
programs, huge distance to cellular tower of connection
operator.
Battery does not charge: check charging adapter connection
to plug. Use only complete charging adapter and cable.
Impossible to call: this problem may be caused by law
connection signal, network overloading, incorrect input of
contact number, activated function of calling prohibition. Try

to change location, check level of connection signal, wipe
phone to factory reset. Contact in service center.
Low receiver volume: during conversation, press button «up»
to increase volume. Set volume during conversation in
profiles. Check signal of cellular connection.
Passwords
Requests to input following passwords may occur during
activating and phone use :
Phone locked password - 1122: request occurs during
activating. This is the password of general locking.
Password to reset to factory settings - 1122
PIN-code: if Pin-code checking is active, it is required to input
code which is given with SIM-card.
PUK code, PIN2 code - also given with SIM card.
Be careful installing blocking passwords: if they are lost, to
renew phone functionality is possible only in service center.
