SoftwareInstallation
Windows 98SE
1. InsertthedriverCD,ClickStart,thenRun.Type
D:\setup.exe, then OK. (Change D: to match
yourCD-ROMdriveletter)
2. ClickNext,Install,thenFinish.
3. Insert the USB 2.0 DataLink Adapter and the
drivers will automatically install.
Windows ME/XP/2000/2003
No driver installation is needed, simply connect the
USB 2.0 DataLink Adapter into a USB port and the
driver will install automatically.
To Verify Successfull Installation
1. Check Device Manager to verify successfull
installation.
Windows98SE/ME:FromthemainDesktop,right
clickMyComputer,thenclickProperties. Click
DeviceManagertab.
Windows 2000/XP/2003: Right click My
Computer, then click Manage. Click Device
Manager.

Using Superlink Software Utility
Youcantransferfilesbetweenthetwosystemsthrough
theSuperLinkapplication software.
Starting SuperLink
This program must be executed on both computers
connectedto theUSB 2.0DataLinkAdapter.
1. DoubleclickMyComputer
2. Double click Removable Drive F: (Default
drive).
3. DoubleclickSuperLink icon.

Data Transfer
To transfer files between systems, simply drag and
drop files between the two systems using the Local
Host and Remote Host windows of the SuperLink
utility.
Disabling Read Only
Insomecases,youmayneedtodisableReadOnlyon
bothsystemsbeforetransferringdata.
1. AttheSuperLinkwindow,clickSystem,then
clickSetup.
2. Uncheck Share as Read Only, then click OK.

LIMITED5YEARWARRANTY
The Company warrants to the original buyer of this product that the
hardware is free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period
of five years from the date of purchase from a reseller or dealer.
If the product has been modified without written approval by the
Company, or the failure is a result of misuse, abuse or misapplication
as determined by the Company, the warranty is void and the Company
has no obligation to repair or replace the product.
Follow these steps to have the defective product repaired or replaced.
Step 1: Go to www.siig.com, click Support, then RMA to submit
the problem. A Technical Support Analyst will troubleshoot the
problem. If the product is determined to be defective, our RMA
department will issue you an RMA number. If you don't have
Internet access, contact our RMA department at [phone].
Step 2: Ship the product.
- Properly pack the product for shipping. All software, cable(s) and
other accessories that came with the original package must be
included.
- Clearly write your RMA number on the top of the returned
package. SIIG will refuse to accept any shipping package,
and will not be responsible for a product returned
without an RMA number posted on the outside of the
shipping carton.
- You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to SIIG at

Step 3: SIIG will ship the repaired or replaced product via Ground in
the U.S and International Economy outside of the U.S at no cost to
the customer.
