AND UNDERSTAND ALL INFORMATION BEFORE
OPERATING THIS TOOL.
• Always operate, inspect and maintain this tool in
 accordance with American National Standards
 Institute Safety Code of Portable Air Tools (ANSI
 B186.1) and any other applicable safety codes
 andregulations.
• For safety, top performance and maximum durability
 of parts, operate this tool at 90 psig; 6.2 bar max
 airpressurewith3/8"diameterairsupplyhose.
• Always wear impact-resistant eye and face
 protection when operating or performing
 maintenanceonthistool.
• Always wear hearing protection when using this
 tool. High sound levels can cause permanent hearing
 loss. Use hearing protection as recommended by
 youremployerorOSHAregulation.
• Keepthetoolinefficientoperatingcondition.
• Operators and maintenance personnel must be
 physically able to handle the bulk, weight and
 powerofthistool.
• Air powered tools can vibrate in use. Vibration,
 repetitive motions or uncomfortable positions over
 extended periods of time may be harmful to your
hands and arms. Discontinue use of tool if discomfort,
 tingling feeling or pain occurs. Seek medical advice
 beforeresuminguse.
• Air under pressure can cause severe injury. Never
 direct air at yourself or others. Always turn off the
 air supply, drain hose of air pressure and detach tool
 from air supply before installing, removing or
 adjusting any accessory on this tool, or before
 performing any maintenance on this tool. Failure to
 do so could result in injury. Whip hoses can cause
 serious injury. Always check for damaged, frayed
or loose hoses and fittings, and replace immediately.
 Do not use quick detach couplings at tool. See
 instructionsforcorrectset-up.
• Placethetoolontheworkbeforestartingthetool.
• Slipping, tripping and/or falling while operating air
 tools can be a major cause of serious injury or
 death. Be aware of excess hose left on the walking
 orworksurface.
• Keep body working stance balanced and firm. Do
 notoverreachwhenoperatingthetool.
• Anticipate and be alert for sudden changes in motion
 duringstartupandoperationofanypowertool.
• Do not carry tool by the hose. Protect the hose from
 sharpobjectsandheat.
• UseaccessoriesrecommendedbyMatcoTools.
• Do not lubricate tools with flammable or volatile liquids
 suchaskerosene,dieselorjetfuel.
• Donotforcetoolbeyonditsratedcapacity.
• Donotremoveanylabels.Replacedamagedlabels.

whilerunningfree.Higherpressureanduncleanairwillshortentoollife
becauseoffasterwearandmaycreateahazardouscondition.

Theairinletusedforconnectingairsupply,hasstandard1/4"NPT
AmericanThread.
Linepressureshouldbeincreasedtocompensateforunusuallylongair
hoses(over25feet).Minimumhosediametershouldbe3/8"I.D.andfittings
shouldhavethesameinsidedimensions.
LUBRICATION...
Lubricatetheairmotordailywithqualityairtooloil.Ifnoairlineoilerisused,
runa1/2ounceofoilthroughthetool.Theoilcanbesquirtedintothetool
airinletorintothehoseatthenearestconnectiontotheairsupply,thenrun
thetool.Theamountofoiltobeusedis1/2ounce.Overfillingwillcausea
reductioninthepowerofthetool.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Otherfactorsoutsidethetoolmaycauselossofpowerorerraticaction.
Reducedcompressoroutput,excessivedrainontheairline,moistureor
restrictionsinairpipesortheuseofhoseconnectionsofimpropersizeor
poorconditionmayreduceairsupply.Gritorgumdepositsinthetoolmay
cutpowerandmaybecorrectedbycleaningtheairstrainerandflushing
outthetoolwithgumsolventoiloranequalmixtureofSAE#10oiland
kerosene.Ifoutsideconditionsareinorder,andthetoolcontinueserratic
actionorlowpower,disconnecttoolfromhoseandcontactyournearest
authorizedservicecenter.

Lesoutilsdecetteclassefonctionnentsurunegrandeplagedepressiond’air.
Ilestrecommandéd’utiliserunepressionde90lb/po2pourl’outilàvide.Une
pressionsupérieureetdel’airmalpropreréduirontlaviedel’outilparceque
celaaccéléreral’usureetpeutcréerdesconditionsdangereuses.
De l’eau dans la conduite d’air endommagera l’outil.Videz le réservoir de
l’airchaquejour.Nettoyerlefiltred’entréeaumoinsunefoisparsemaine.La
procéduredebranchementrecommandéeestillustréeàlafigure1.
L’entrée d’air (figure 2), utilisée pour connecter l’arrivée d’air a un filetage
américain1⁄4poNPT.
Lapressiondelaconduitedevraitêtreaugmentéepourlestuyauxtrèslongs
(plusde25pieds).Lediamètreintérieurminimaldutuyaudevraitêtrede3/8
poetlesraccordsdevraientavoirlesmêmesdimensionsintérieures.
DÉPANNAGE
D’autresfacteursàl’extérieurdel’outilpeuventcauserunepertedepuissance
ouunfonctionnementirrégulier.Unepuissanceréduiteducompresseur,une
vidangeexcessivedelaconduited’air,l’humiditéoudesrestrictionsdansles
tuyauxd’airoul’utilisationderaccordsdetuyaudelamauvaisetailleouen
mauvais état peut réduire l’arrivée d’air. Si les conditions extérieures sont
correctesetquel’outilcontinuedemalfonctionner,débranchezl’outildutuyau
etapportezl’outilàvotrecentred’entretienMatcoautoriséleplusproche.
LUBRIFICATION
Lubrifiez quotidiennement le moteur de l’outil avec de l’huile pour outil
pneumatiquedequalité.Siaucunelubrificationdelaligned’airn’estutilisée,
injecter 1/2 onces d’huile à travers l’outil. L’huile peut être injectée dans
l’entréed’airde l’outiloudans le tuyauauraccordement leplusprès,puis
faitesfonctionnerl’outil.Laquantitéd’huileàêtreutiliséeest1/2onces.Un
remplissageexcessifcauserauneréductiondelapuissancedel’outil.

si experimente molestias, estremecimiento o dolor.  Antes de

• El aire bajo presión puede ocasionar alguna herida severa.
Nunca dirija el aire hacia usted ni a otros. Apague siempre
la alimentación de aire, vacíe la manguera de toda presión
de aire y separe la herramienta de la alimentación de aire
antes de instalar, quitar o ajustar cualquier accesorio de esta
herramienta, o antes de realizar cualquier mantenimiento de
estaherramienta.Lafallaenhacerlopodríaresultarenalguna
lesión.Lasmanguerasdelátigopuedenocasionaralgunaherida
seria. Revise siempre las mangueras y herrajes por daños,
deshilachas o solturas, y repóngalos inmediatamente. No use
enlaherramientalosacoplamientosderápidaseparación.Vea
lasinstruccionesporlainstalacióncorrecta.
• Coloquelaherramientasobreeltrabajoantesdearrancarla
herramienta.
• Resbalarse, tropezarse y/o caerse durante la operación de
herramientasneumáticaspuedeserunacausamayordelesión

Matcoofrecealconsumidorlagarantíadesusherramientasneumáticaspor
unperíodode1año.
ReparemoscualquierherramientaneumáticadelaSerieSE,cubiertabajoesta
garantía, la cualdemuestraser defectuosaencuestión material omano de
obraduranteelperíododedichagarantía.Paraquesereparesuherramienta,
devuelvalaherramientaacualquieraCentrodeGarantíaAutorizadodeMatco,
fleteprepagado.Incluyeporfavorunacopiadesucomprobacióndecompra
yunabrevedescripcióndelproblema.Seinspeccionarálaherramientaysi
cualquierpiezaopiezasseencuentre(n)conalgúndefectomaterialodemano
deobra,serepararálaherramienta,libredecargos,yéstaserá devueltaa
ustedconfleteprepagado.
Esta garantía le proporciona ciertos derechos.  Usted puede tener también
otrosderechosloscualesvaríandeestadoaestado.

ALIMENTACIÓN DE AIRE
Las herramientas de esta categoría operan dentro de un rango amplio de
presióndeaire.Altrabajarlibremente,serecomiendaquelapresióndeairede
estasherramientasmidaaun90PSIenlaherramienta.Lapresiónaltayelaire
suciodisminuiránlavidadelaherramientadebidoaldesgastemásrápido,y
puedencrearcondicionespeligrosas.
Cualquieraguaenla línea deairedañará la herramienta.Drenediariamente
eltanquedeaire.Limpiealmenossemanalmentelamalladefiltracióndela
ventila de admisión de aire. El procedimiento recomendado de conexión se
puederevisarenlaFigura1.
La ventila de admisión de aire (Figura 2), empleada para la conexión de
abastecimientodeaire,cuentaconlaRoscaEstándarAmericanaNPT1/4".
La presión de línea debe ser aumentada para compensar por mangueras
excepcionalmentelargas (másde25pies). Eldiámetromínimodemanguera
debe ser de 3/8" Diám. Int. y los herrajes deben tener la misma dimensión
interior.
DIAGNÓSTICO DE AVERÍAS
Otrosfactoresindependientesdelaherramientapuedenocasionarlapérdida
depotenciaoalgunaacciónerrática.Lasemisionesreducidasdelasalidadel
compresor,eldrenajeexcesivoenlalíneadeaire,lahumedadolasrestricciones
enlaspipasdeaireoelusodeconexionesdemangueradetamañoinadecuado,
opobrescondiciones,puedendisminuirelsuministrodeaire.
Silascondicionesexterioressonadecuadas,ylaherramientaaúnfuncionade
formaerrática,desconectelaherramientadelamanguerayllevelaherramienta
alcentrodeservicioautorizadoMatcomáscercanoausted.
LUBRICACIÓN
Lubrique diariamente el motor de aire con lubricante para herramientas
neumáticasdecalidad.Sinoseuseningúnlubricadorparalalíneadeaire,deje
caerunacucharadadellubricanteporlalongitudinternadelaherramienta.El
lubricantepuedeserlanzadoachorroenlaadmisióndeairedelaherramienta
oenlamangueraalaconexiónmáscercanaalabastecimientodeaire,luego
ponga en marcha la herramienta.  La cantidad de aceite para usarse es de
1/2onza.Laaplicaciónexcesivaocasionaráladisminucióndepotenciadela
herramienta.
