e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.This enable better control of the

g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
Air Tool Use & Care
a) Do not force the air tool. Usethecorrectairtoolforyourapplication.Thecorrectairtoolwilldo
thejobbetterandsaferattherateforwhichitwasdesigned.
b) Do not use the air tool if the switch does not turn it ON and OFF. Any air tool that cannot be
controlledwiththeswitchisdangerousandmustberepaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the air source before making any adjustments, changing acces-
sories, or storing air tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the air
tool accidentally.
d) Store idle air tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with
the air tool or these instructions to operate the air tool. Air tools are dangerous in the hands
of untrained users.
e) Maintain air tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect the air tool’s operation. If damaged, have the air tool repaired
before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained air tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.Properlymaintainedcuttingtoolswithsharpcuttingedges
are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the air tool, accessories and tool bits, etc.inaccordancewiththeseinstructions,taking
intoaccounttheworkingconditionsandtheworktobeperformed.Useoftheairtoolforopera-

Always disconnect

Before Use
• Silverlineairtoolsgenerallyoperatewithinamaximumoperatingairpressureof90psi(see
specicationdetails).Theairpressureshouldbecontrolledwithacombineregulatoroil/water
lterensuringaconstantsupplyofdryairandoiltothemachine
• Alwayscheckthemachine’soperatingpressureandsettheregulatoraccordingly
• Watercollectsinthecompressortankandthiswaterwillcauseseriouscorrosiontoyour
machines.Thetankmustbedrainedonadailybasistopreventanywaterbuildupintheair
supply
• Dirtywetairwillrapidlycorrodetheinternalworkingpartsofyourmachineandshortenits
workinglifesignicantly
Note: Someairtools,includingthisgrinder,havebuiltinregulators,whichareusedtocontrol
speed/torqueperformance.Whereamachinedoesnothaveabuiltinregulatorthespeed/torque
canstillbeadjustedbyvaryingthepressureonyourairsupplyregulator.
Preparing the tool
1. ConnecttheInlineOiler(5)totheairinlet,andthe¼”BSPQuickConnector(4).Ensuretight
connections
2. OntheInlineOiler(5),unscrewthescrewxingtoaccesstheoilreservoir.Fillthereservoirwith
air tool oil
IMPORTANT:DONOTUNDERANYCIRCUMSTANCESUSENORMALENGINEOIL.
