Quick Installation Guide
• WICHTIG: Prüfen Sie anhand des Typenschilds, ob das Gerät für die
entsprechende Spannung ausgelegt ist. Netzstecker an Stromquelle
anschliessen und Hauptschalter betätigen.
• IMPORTANT: Check the identification plate to ensure that the device is
rated for the appropriate voltage. Connect the power plug to the power
source and operate the main switch.
• IMPORTANT: Vérifiez sur la plaque signalétique que l’appareil est conçu
pour la tension appropriée. Branchez la fiche secteur sur la source d’ali-
mentation et actionnez l’interrupteur principal.
• IMPORTANTE: controllare la targhetta per assicurarsi che l’apparecchio

• Temperatursonde in beliebiger Buchse einstecken und Sondenkopf am
U-Kern platzieren. Zweite Temperatursonde für Delta-T Modus ist
optional erhältlich (Art.-Nr.:190-10010).
• Insert the temperature probe into any socket and place probe head on
U-Core. Second temperature probe for Delta-T mode is optionally
available (art. no.:190-10010).

• Legen Sie das Lager über die Spule oder über das Joch. Joch und U-Kern
müssen vor der Verwendung unbedingt vom Rostschutz befreit werden.
• Place the bearing over the coil or over the yoke. Before use, it is essential
that the yoke and U-Core are free of rust inhibitor protection.
• Placer le roulement sur la bobine ou sur le barreau. Il est impératif d’enlever
la protection antirouille de le barreau et du noyau en U avant utilisation.
• Posizionare i cuscinetti sulla bobina o sul giogo. È indispensabile rimuo-

• Temperatursonde am Lagerinnenring platzieren und Anwärmprozess mit
START/STOP Taste initialisieren.
• Place the temperature probe on the bearing inner ring and initialise the
heating process with the START/STOP button.

• When the required temperature is reached, an acoustic signal will be
heard. Press the START/STOP button to switch off the unit, the bearing is
automatically demagnetise.

• ACHTUNG: Heisse Oberfläche. Tragen Sie die mitgelieferten
Schutzhandschuhe für die Entnahme des heissen Lagers.
• ATTENTION: Hot surface. Always wear the protective gloves provided
when removing the hot bearing.

Sicherheitshinweis
Um den Anwender und das simatherm Induktions-Anwärmgerät zu
schützen, sind folgende Sicherheitshinweise zu befolgen:
• Auf eine korrekte Stromzufuhr achten.
• Bei Potentialunterschieden zwischen dem Gerät und dem Werkstück kann
es zur Lichtbogenbildung kommen. Dies führt weder zu Personenschäden
noch zu Schäden am Gerät oder am Werkstück. Das Gerät darf jedoch
niemals in Bereichen verwendet werden, in denen Explosionsgefahr
besteht.
• Gerät nicht hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit aussetzen.
• Das Gerät niemals ohne ein korrekt positioniertes Joch betreiben.
• Keine Änderungen am Gerät vornehmen.
• Beim Heben schwerer Bauteile geeignete Handhabungsgeräte verwenden.
• Den Kontakt mit heissen Bauteilen vermeiden. Zur Handhabung heisser
Bauteile die mitgelieferten Hitzeschutzhandschuhe tragen.

Security note
To protect the user and the simatherm induction heating device, the follow-
ing safety instructions must be followed.
• Be certain that the voltage supply is correct.
• Electrical arcing may occur when a potential difference exists between
the IH 045 and the workpiece. This is not dangerous to human beings
and will not cause damage to the Induction heater or the workpiece.
However, the IH 045 must never be used in areas where there is a risk
of explosion.
• Do not expose the heater to high humidity.
• Never operate the IH 045 without a yoke in position.
• Do not modify the IH 045.
• Use proper handling equipment when lifting heavy workpieces.
• Avoid contact with hot workpieces. Wear the supplied heatresistant
gloves to handle hot workpieces.

Consignes de sécurité
Afin de protéger l’utilisateur et l’appareil de chauffage par induction
simatherm, les consignes de sécurité suivantes doivent être respectées:
• Assurez-vous que la tension d‘alimentation de l‘appareil est correcte.
• Un arc électrique peut se produire lorsqu‘il existe une différence poten-
tielle entre le IH 045 et la pièce à travailler. Cet arc électrique est inof-
fensif pour l’être humain et n‘endommage ni le IH 045 ni la pièce à tra-
vailler. Cependant, il ne faut jamais utiliser le IH 045 dans des zones
comportant un risque d‘explosion.
• L‘appareil ne doit pas être exposé à une forte humidité.
• N‘utilisez jamais le IH 045 sans que le barreau soit en place.
• Des outils de manutention adaptés doivent être utilisés pour soulever des
pièces lourdes.
• Il faut éviter tout contact avec les pièces chauffées. Pour leur manipula-
tion équipez-vous de gants résistants à la chaleur.

Advertencia de seguridad

Nota di sicurezza
