SHORELINE 4X4 INSTRUCTIONS
EXTREME SERIES BULLBAR
1. Auto electrical work should be carried out by a competent person. Vehicle
wire colours are listed as a guide only and may vary on some makes and
models.
2. The function of each wire should be checked before any connections are
made.
3. All wires tapped into should be soldered and then insulated with electrical
tape or heat shrink.
4. Grounding/Earth points must always be connected to the factory grounding
points, not to the battery negative terminal. See owner’s manual.
5. Using only a LED test light, test all electrical components of the vehicle before
and after wiring.
This is to ensure everything works correctly.
6. the installation of large or light-coloured antennas or aerials to the
front of a bull bar as this may cause the lane departure system to malfunction.
Only a competent person should perform accessory installations. It is the
responsibility of this person to ensure correct fitment.
• Whilst working on this vehicle, always use appropriate safety equipment.
• Read and understand instructions fully before commencing fitment.
• Check the hardware supplied against the contents list on the following pages.
• Do not use this product for any vehicle make or model other than specified in
these instructions.
• This product and or hardware must not be modified in any way. Do not
remove labels from this product.
• Recording the batch number on the customer’s job card is good practice for
future reference, or complete the information below and file with customer job
card.
Care
• To maintain the finish of the product, wash regularly using a PH neutral car
wash, hose off and
• chamois dry.
• Do not use acidic or alkaline cleaners.
• Plastic components can be maintained with a silicone spray or similar (non-
acidic or alkaline based).
• Ironman 4x4 recovery points are FEA tested during design and destruction
tested during development
• to establish the Working Load Limits (WLL).
• recovery points have been designed as a matching pair, supplied as right and
left sides for vehicle-specific fitment.
• Do not use this recovery point for any other vehicle make or model other than
the one intended.
• Do not alter or modify the recovery point in any way. Doing so may
compromise the strength and integrity of the recovery point.
• It is advised to use an equalising or bridle strap. Failure to do so
correctly can result in recovery point fatigue or bending and void your
warranty.
• Never use a single recovery point combined with a side load pull.
•
Recovery Points are designed for a straight-line pull, by pulling on an angle or
sideways pull may result in a reduction of the WLL.

Fitting instructions for

1. Congratulations on purchasing your very own Shoreline
4x4 Extreme Series Bullbar. To start, clear an area around
the front of your car and unwrap the bar.
2. With the bar unwrapped, you’re ready to remove the
grill. There are three push clips on the top cover that can
be pulled up with a at heads screw driver. With those
removed, you can pull up the cover to access another
push clip on each end.
3. With the top 5 push clips removed, the grill can be pulled
back and there are 5 clips that can easily be undone
where the grill meets the bumper.
4. Remove the two screw in plastic plugs on the bumper
that were covered by the grill.

5. Next to each headlight is a bolt and a push clip holding
the bumper on, these will need to be removed.
6. In the wheel arch, there is an 8mm head bolt that needs
to be undone to separate the bumper from the front
guard.
7. The remaining screws and plastic clips holding the
bumper inside the wheel arch must be removed.
8. Unscrew the 4 bolts underneath the bumper, now you’re
ready to remove it from the car.

9. Carefully pop the bumper away from the wheel arches
and you should be able to pull the whole bumper off
now, taking care to disconnect the fog light wiring.
10.Undo the 4 bolts underneath to remove the factory bash
plate.
11.Tear away the lower section of the air dam. This can be
disposed as it is not needed with the new bullbar.
12.Unbolt the crash bar and dispose, this will be replaced
by the bullbar mounts.

13.Unscrew the two upper air dams and remove
temporarily.
14.With the air dam removed, you can now unscrew
and remove the two L brackets. With the L brackets
removed, ret the two air dams.
15.Remove the plastic trim down between the chassis and
the condenser
16.Remove the metal brackets underneath the headlights
and dispose.

17.Now you vcan remove the mounting bracket from the bar
itself, ready to t to the car.
18.Trim the upper air dams down, checking clearance
against the mounting bracket and ensure that the sensor
on the passenger side air dam is relocated.
19.Mount the bullbar bracket using the 4 factory bolts and
the 8 supplied High Tensile bolts with nuts and washers.
Ensure that the bolts are not tightened fully as the bar
will need to be aligned.
20.Unbolt and remove the plastic insert below the
headlights.

21.Now mount the bar to the mounting bracket with the 10
supplied nuts and bolts.
22.The bar should sit with a ngers width gap between
the lights and the bar. Once the bar is aligned correctly,
tighten all the mounting bolts.
23.Mark and trim the inner wheel guard.
24.Before continuing, mount the license plate and winch if
you have one.

25.Fit the new bash plate over the bullbar and mount using
the supplied nuts and bolts.
26.Ret the grill with the factory push clips.
27.Cut the factory fog light plug and solder in your new LED
fog lights. The Black wire is the -VE wire on both sides of
the factory loom.
28.Test the fog lights are wired correctly and then you are
nished, ready to hit the tracks! Enjoy your brand new
Shoreline 4x4 Extreme Series Bullbar.
