SMEG THERMOSEAL
Unique to Smeg, Thermoseal is a combination of technologies
which creates a controlled cooking environment for perfect
cooking results.
EVER-CLEAN ENAMEL
Our exclusive Ever-Clean enamel creates a flawless finish on
oven interiors and baking trays, making oven surfaces very
easy to maintain.
FULLY AUTOMATIC
The oven can be preprogrammed to start and finish cooking.
It is also semi automatic — cooking is started manually and
the programmed to finish at a set time. There is also a ‘minute
minder’, variable up to 60 minutes. This counts down to an
audible signal with volume variability. These applications help
ensure perfect cooking results.
CATALYTIC WALL LINERS
These panels are standard fitted accessories. The set of three
if fitted over the side and rear wall ov the main oven. They
absorb airborne grease/oil/food particles throughout the
cooking process — maintenance is thus made even easier.
REMOVABLE ROOF LINER
Also uniquely Smeg is the removable vitreously-enameled roof
over the grill elements, fitted to both ovens. This is usually the
most inaccessible and difficult area of an oven to clean. Now,
simply slide this liner out for easy cleaning.
REMOVABLE DOOR
Easily removed, this robust door allows wipe-over maintenance
away from the oven. When removed, more ergonomic access
to the oven cavity is possible for easy cleaning.
HOB — SPACIOUS DESIGN
Six burners ergonomically positioned for maximum benefit with
the possibility of several styles of cooking simultaneously.
FLAME FAILURE DEVICE
The A31X hob is fitted with a Flame Failure Device (FFD) to
each of the six burners. The FFD ensure that should a flame
be extinguished prematurely (for instance, by smothering or
a sudden air gust) the gas supply to the specific burner(s) is
stopped within 12 seconds. For absolute safety the burner(s)
can only be reignited by physically resetting the control knob(s)
to the OFF position and then following the normal ignition
procedure.
