•IfthemodelcontainsR600a-seenameplateunderrefrigerant(thecoolantisobutane),
naturalsgasthat, is veryenvironmentallyfriendlybut alsocombustible.When
transportingand installingtheunitcaremustbe takentoensurethatnoneofthe
refrigerationcircuitcomponentsbecomedamaged. In theevent of damageavoid
nakedflamesorignitionsourcesand ventilatetheroomin whichthe unitisplaced
forafewminutes.
Warning: Keepventilationopeningsinapplianceenclosureorinstructureforbuilding
in,clearofobstruction.
•Donotusemechanicaldevicesorotherartificial meanstoaccelerate thedefrosting
process.
•Donotuseelectricalappliancesinthe refrigeratororfreezercompartmentofthe
appliance.
•If thisapplianceistoreplacean oldrefrigeratorwithalock;breakor removethe lock
asasafetymeasurebeforestoringit,toprotectchildren whileplayingmight lock

CHAPTER1. BEFOREUSINGYOUR FRIDGE
ConformityInformation
•TropicalClass isdefinedfortheenvironmenttemperaturesbetween16°Cand 43°C
inaccordancewiththeTSENISO15502Standards.
•The applianceis designed in compliance with the EN15502, IEC60335-1/
IEC60335-2-24, 2004/108/ECstandards.

Warning: Donotusemechanicaldevicesorothermeanstoaccelerate thedefrosting
process,otherthan thoserecommended bythe manufacturer.Donot useelectrical
appliancesinsidethefoodstoragecompartmentsof theappliance,unlesstheyareof

•When the doorofthe fridge isclosed,vacuum will occur.Wait
forabout 1minutetoreopenit.
•Theapplianceisnotintended forusebypeople(includingchildren)withreduced
physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities,orlackofexperienceandknowledge,unless
theyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceby
apersonresponsiblefortheirsafety.Childrenshouldbesupervised toensurethat
theydon’t playwith theappliance.
•Ifthesupply cordisdamageditmustbereplacedbythemanufacturerorservice
agentorsimilaryqualifiedpeople inordertoavoid ahazard.

InstallingandOperatingyourFridge
•Operating voltage for yourfridgeis220-240V at50Hz.
•Beforestartingtouseyour fridge, pleasecall thenearestauthorizedservice,andget
helponthe installation,operationandusageofyourfridge.
•Mainscordofyourfridgehasagrounded plug. Thisplug shouldbeusedwitha
groundedreceptaclethathasa16amperfuseminimum.Ifyoudon’thavea
receptacleconfirming with this,pleasehaveitdonebyaqualifiedelectirician.
•Wedonot taketheresponsibilityof thedamagesthat occurdue
toungroundedusage.
•Placeyourfridgeinaplacethatitwould notbeexposed todirect
sunlight.
•Yourapplianceshouldbeatleast50cmawayfromstoves,
ovensandheatercores,andshouldbeatleast5cm awayfrom
electricalovens.
•Itshould neverbeusedoutdoorsorleftundertherain.
•When your fridge isplaced next toadeep freezer,thereshould
beatleast2cm between themtoprevent humidityon theouter
surface.
•Donotplaceanythingon yourfridge,and installyourfridge ina
suitableplacesothatatleast15cmisavailableon theupper
side.
•Fittheplasticwallspacerstothecondenseratthebackofthe
refrigeratorin ordertoprevent leaning tothe wall for good
performance.
•Ifyouwillplaceyourfridgenexttoyourkitchencabinets,leavea
spaceof2cmbetweenthem.
• Installthe distanceadjustment plastic(thepart withblackvanes
attherear)byturningit90°to preventthe condenserfrom
touchingthewall.
• Theadjustablefront legsshouldstabilizedin an appropriateheight to allowyour
fridge operateinastableandproperway.Youcanadjustthelegsbyturning them
clockwise(orin theoppositedirection). Thisshouldbedonebeforeplacingfoodin
the fridge.
•Beforeusingyourfridge,wipeallpartswithwarmwater added witha teaspoonfulof
sodiumbicarbonate,andthenrinsewith cleanwateranddry.Placeallpartsafter
cleaning.
BeforeUsingyourFridge
•When itisoperatedforthefirsttimeoraftertransportation, keep
yourfridge inthe uprightpositionfor3hoursandplugitonto
allowefficient operation.Otherwise,you maydamagethe
compressor.
•Yourfridge mayhaveasmellwhenitisoperatedforthe firsttime; thesmell will fade
awaywhenyour fridge startstocool.

CHAPTER2. USAGE INFORMATION
ThermostatSetting
Larders(coolers)havenot anyfreezercompartment but cancoolbelow5°C.
•Thermostatautomaticallyregulatesthe insidetemperatureof the refrigerator
compartment.Byrotatingtheknobfromposition« 1»to«5 », coldertemperatures
canbe obtained.
•«0 »position showsthermostatisclosedandnocoolingisavailable.
•For short-termstorageoffoodin therefrigeratorcompartment, youcan setthe knob
between minimumand mediumposition.(1-3)
•Forlong-termstorageof food intherefrigeratorcompartment, youcansetknobto
mediumposition.(3-4)
• Notethat; theambianttemperature,temperature of thefreshlystoredfoodand
howoften thedoorisopened, affectsthe temperaturein therefrigerator
compartment.Ifrequired,change thetemperaturesetting.
•Larders(coolers)havenotanyfreezercompartmentbutcancoolbelow5°C.
•When youfirstswitch on theappliance, for startingasuitablecooling,the appliance
should work24hourscontinuously untilitcools downtosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonot openthedoorsooftenand placealotof foodinside theappliance.
•Iftheunitis switchedofforunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-plugged theunitinordernotto damagethecompressor.

CHAPTER3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Makesure tounplug thefridgebeforestarting to cleanit.
•Donotwash your fridge bypouringwater.
•Youcanwipetheinnerandoutersideswithasoftcloth
orasponge usingwarmandsoapywater.
•Removethepartsindividuallyandcleanwithsoapywater.
Donot washinwashingmachine.
•Neveruseflammable,explosiveorcorrosivematerial like
thinner,gas,acidforcleaning.
•Make surethatyourfridgeisunpluggedwhile cleaning.

Theslidedamperabovethecrisperbinsallowsthetemperatureandhumidityinthe bins
toberegulated.
•Openingthedamperreducesthetemeratureand humidity.
•Closingthedamperincreasesthetemperatureand humidity.

Defrosting
•Defrostingoccursautomatically in refrigeratorcompartmentduringoperation ;the
defrostwateris collectedbythe evaporatingtrayandevoparatesautomatically.
•The evaporatingtrayand the defrost waterdrain hole shouldbe cleanedperiodically
with defrostdrain plug to preventthe waterfromcollectingon the bottomof the
refrigeratorinsteadofflowing out.
•Youcanalsopour½glassofthewatertodrainholetocleaninside.
ReplacingtheBulb
Toreplacethebulbinfreezerand fridgedepartments;
1-Unplug yourfridge.
2-Removethecoveroftheboxfromtheclawsusinga
screwdriver.
3-Replacewithabulbofmaximum15Watts.
4-Installthecover.
5-Waitfor5minutesbefore re-pluggingand bringthe
thermostattoitsoriginal position.

CHAPTER5. BEFORECALLINGSERVICE
Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworkingproperly,itmaybeaminorproblem, thereforecheckthe
following,beforecallinganelectriciantosavetimeandmoney.
Whattodoifyourrefrigeratordoesnot operate;
Check that ;
•Thereisno power,
•Thegeneralswitchin yourhomeisnotdisconnected,
•Thethermostat settingison«0» position,
•Thesocketisnotsufficient. Tocheckthis,plug inanotherappliancethatyou know
whichisworking intothesamesocket.
Whattodoifyourrefrigeratorperformspoorly;
Check that ;
•Youhave notoverloaded theappliance,
•Thedoorsareclosedperfectly,
•Thereisnodustonthecondenser,
•Thereisenoughplaceat therearandsidewalls.
CHAPTER4. SHIPMENT AND REPOSITIONING
• Originalpackage andfoammaybekeptforre-transportation(optionally).
• Youshouldfastenyourfridge with thickpackage, bandsorstrongcordsandfollow
theinstructionsfortransportationon thepackageforre-transportation.
•Removemovable parts(shelves,
accessories,vegetablebinsetc.)orfix
themintothefridgeagainstshocksusing
bandsduringre-positioningand
transportation.
•Carryyourfridgeinthe upright position.
Repositioning theDoor
Youcanrepositionthedoorsofyourfridge.Contactnearestauthorizedservice forthis.

Ifthereisnoise;
The coolinggaswhichcirculatesintherefrigeratorcircuitmaymakeaslight
noise(bubblingsound)evenwhen the compressoris not running.Donotworrythisis
quitenormal.If thesesoundsaredifferentcheckthat;
•Theapplianceis well leveled,
•Nothing istouchingtherear,
•Thestuffsontheappliancearevibrating.
If thereis waterinthelowerpartoftherefrigerator
Check that ;
Thedrainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(Usedefrostdrainplugtoclean thedrain
hole)
If yourfridge isnotcooling enough;
Yourfridge is designed tooperatein the ambient temperatureintervals statedin the
standards,accordingtotheclimateclassstatedintheinformationlabel.Wedonot
recommendoperatingyourfridgeoutofstatedtemperaturesvaluelimitsinterms ofcooling
effectiveness.

IMPORTANTNOTES:
•Compressorprotectionfunctionwillbeactivatedaftersudden powerbreakdownsor

stabilizedyet.Yourfridgewillstartafter5minutes,thereisnothingtoworryabout.
•Ifyouwillnotuseyourfridgeforalongtime(e.g.insummerholidays)unplugit.
CleanyourfridgeaccordingtoChapter4and leavethe dooropen topreventhumidity
andsmell.
Ifthe problempersistsafteryou havefollowedalltheinstructionsabove, pleaseconsult
tothe nearest Authorizedservice.
ThelifetimeofyourappliancestatedanddeclaredbytheDepartment of the Industryis10
years(theperiodforretainingpartsrequiredforthe properfunctioningoftheappliance).
