General Safety

First Use
• Carryoutyourfirstwashingprocesswithout

machinetothewaterintakevalvesonthe
machine.
• Ifyouaregoingtouseyourdoublewater-inlet
machineasasingle(cold)water-inletunit,
youmustinstallthestopper*,suppliedwith
yourmachinetothehotwatervalve.
• Ifyouwanttousebothwaterinletsofthe
product,youcanconnectthehotwaterhose
afterremovingthestopperandgasketgroup
fromthehotwatervalve.

• Modelswithasinglewaterinletshouldnotbe
connectedtothehotwatertap.
Whenreturningtheappliancetoitsplaceafter

Connecting to the drain
Thewaterdischargehosecanbeattachedtothe
edgeofawashbasinorbathtub.Thedrainhose
shouldbefirmlyfittedintothedrainastonotget
outofitshousing.
Important:
• Theendofthedrainhosemustbedirectly
connectedtothewastewaterdrainortothe
washbasin.
• Thehoseshouldbeattachedtoaheightofat
least40cm,and100cmatmost.
• Incasethehoseiselevatedafterlayingit
onthefloorlevelorclosetotheground
(lessthan40cmabovetheground),water
dischargebecomesmoredifficultandthe
laundrymaycomeoutwet.
• Thehoseshouldbepushedintothedrainage
formorethan15cm.Ifitistoolongyoumay
haveitshortened.
• Themaximumlengthofthecombinedhoses
mustnotbelongerthan3.2m.

3 Initial preparations for
washing
Preparing clothes for washing
Laundryitemswithmetalattachmentssuchas,
bras,beltbucklesandmetalbuttonswilldamage
themachine.Removemetalattachmentsor
placetheitemsinaclothingbag,pillowcase,or
somethingsimilar.
• Sortthelaundryaccordingtotypeoffabric,
color,anddegreeofsoilingandpermissible
watertemperature.Alwaysfollowtheadvice
onthegarmentlabels.
• Placesmallitemslikeinfants’socksand
nylonstockings,etc.inalaundrybag,pillow
caseorsomethingsimilar.Thiswillalsosave
yourlaundryfromgettinglost.
• Wash“machinewashable”or“hand
washable”labeledproductsonlywithan
appropriateprogram.
• Donotwashcolorsandwhitestogether.
New,darkcoloredcottonsmayreleasealot

Child-proof lock
Thisfunctionprotectstheappliancefrombeing

buttonsareinactiveexceptOn/Offbutton;by
On/Offbuttonyoucanwhetherstoporresume
(whilechild-lockon)theprogramofyour
machine.
Themachineisswitchedtochild-lockby
pressingthe1stand2ndauxiliaryfunctionsfrom
theleftfor3sec.Child-prooflocklamponthe

thechild-prooflockisactivated.Todeactivate

Ending the program through
canceling

The“Spin”lightilluminatesifthecancellation
processisactivatedinthemiddleoftheprogram

Theprogramwhichisselectedfirstwillkeep
ongoingevenifthepositionoftheprogram
selectionbuttonischanged.Anewprogram

End of program
The“Ready”lampontheprogramfollow-up
indicatorwilllightupwhentheprogramcomes

5 Maintenance and cleaning
Detergent Drawer
Removeanypowderresiduebuildupinthe
drawer.Todothis;
1. Pressthedottedpointonthesiphoninthe
softenercompartmentandpulltowardsyou
untilthecompartmentisremovedfromthe
machine.

Ifmorethananormalamountofwater
andsoftenermixturestartstogatherinthe
softenercompartment,thesiphonmustbe
cleaned.
2. Washthedispenserdrawerandthe
siphonwithplentyoflukewarmwaterina
washbasin.
3. Replacethedrawerintoitshousingafter
cleaning.Checkifthesiphonisinitsoriginal
location.
Inlet water filters
Thereisafilterattheendofeachwaterintake
valveatthebacksideofthemachineandalso
attheendofeachwaterintakehosewherethey
areconnectedtothetap.Thesefiltersprevent
theforeignsubstancesanddirtinthewaterto
enterintothemachine.Filtersshouldbecleaned
astheygetdirty.
• Closethetaps.
• Removethenutsofthewaterintakehosesto
cleanthesurfacesofthefiltersonthewater
intakevalveswithanappropriatebrush.
• Ifthefiltersareverydirty,youcanpullthem
outbymeansofpliersandcleanthem.
• Takeoutthefiltersontheflatendsofthe
waterintakehosestogetherwiththegaskets
andcleanthoroughlyunderstreamingwater.
• Replacethegasketsandfilterscarefullyto
theirplacesandtightenthehosenutsby
hand.

Ifyourproductisnotsuppliedwithanemergency
drainhose,dothefollowingasshowninthe
figurebelow:
• Placealargecontainerinfrontofthefilterto
receivewaterflowingfromthefilter.
• Loosenpumpfilter(anticlockwise)untilwater
startstoflowoutofit.Directtheflowing
waterintothecontaineryouhaveplacedin
frontofthefilter.Youcanuseapieceofcloth
toabsorbanyspilledwater.
• Whenthereisnowaterleft,turnthepump
filteruntilitiscompletelylooseandremoveit.

Yourproductisequippedwithafiltersystem
whichensuresacleanerwaterdischargethat
extendspumplifebypreventingsoliditemssuch
asbuttons,coinsandfabricfibersfromclogging
thepumppropellerduringdischargeofthe
washingwater.
• Ifyourmachinefailstodrainthewater,the
pumpfiltermaybeclogged.Youmayhave
tocleanitevery2yearsorwheneveritis
plugged.Watermustbedrainedofftoclean
thepumpfilter.
Inaddition,watermayhavetobedrainedoff
completelyinthefollowingcases:
• beforetransportingthemachine(e.g.when
movinghouse)
• whenthereisthedangeroffrost
