OPERATION
When a SMINN transmitter’s code is received, the receiver checks the integrity of that
code and if it is registered in the memory. Once verified, it keeps the corresponding relay
activated as long as the transmitter’s button is pressed.
The receiver can activate multiple relays simultaneously and avoids activation of
complementary outputs like Up and Down or Left and Right.
In case of complementary commands both relays are deactivated to maximize safety.
ERASE MEMORY
Stored SMINN transmitters’ codes can only be deleted completely by erasing the
memory. To do so, these steps should be followed:
• Press and release 4 times with cadence of 1 second the PROG button.
• Press PROG. for the fifth time and hold it for 8 seconds until the RUN led powers on.
• Release the PROG button for 2 seconds.
• Press PROG button again ( the led powers off ) and hold for 8 seconds until the led
blinks.
• Release the PROG button.
• Wait for the validation beeps.
TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING
SMINN’s BOX M 640 can store up to a total of 35 TMC640 transmitters.
Before registering transmitters, it’s advisable to erase the memory first.
If we try to register more than 35 transmitters, the receiver will answer with a long beep
indicating that the memory is full.
To register transmitters manually using the programming button, proceed as follows:
• Turn on the device and wait 5 sec.
• Press and hold the receiver’s programming button (PROG.).
• Press and hold the button of the channel on the transmitter we want to register.
• Check that the led is blinking (SCAN mode).
• Wait for the valid registration beep.
• Release the transmitter button.
• Release the programming button of the receiver (PROG.).
Repetir estos pasos por cada emisor que se desee grabar de forma manual.
PROGRAMMING VIA RADIO
It’s not possible to register transmitters via radio or via invite.
INSTALLATION AND WIRING
This SMINN device is designed to be easily fixed on a wall using the provided screws and
wall plugs.
Before connecting the device to a power supply make sure the power supply is powered
off. Installation shall be done by specialized personnel using adequate wiring taking into
consideration that devices that are always powered on must have a power off override
near them (like a Miniature Circuit Breaker).
Internal connections shall be done following the indications depicted in the silk screen
printing of the board.Once the device is programmed and verified, close it using the
supplied lid and screws.
SMINN RECEIVERS HAVE AN EXTERNAL LIGHT TO INDICATE WHETHER THE DEVICE IS
POWERED ON OR OFF
Note: Reinforced concrete, metallic componentes and/or any other receiving device
reduce dramatically the radiofrequency signal, so installation close to these
elements should be avoided.
WIRING
The receiver has 4 terminal blocks for wiring of power and relays.
Relays are configured as dry, isolated contacts that can manage loads with different
voltage levels (8 amp max. 250V AC/ 5 amp max. 30V DC).
