• The device may be
used only in dry envi-
ronments. Please be
sure that it is not
located near the vicinity of the
power supply unit.
• Do not allow the humidifier
environment to become damp
or wet. If moisture occurs, the
humidifier may only be used
periodically. Absorbent materi-
als such as carpeting, curtains,
drapes or tablecloths must not
be allowed to become damp.
• The power supply unit must be
connected in such a way so as
to avoid risks in the event of a
falling of the device or spilling
of liquid.
• Never squeeze the power cord
and never pull it across sharp
edges.
• Do not operate the device near
heat sources.
• Never operate the device with
defective power supply unit or
power plug.
• Do not take the device into
operation if the product or
parts of the device show visible
damages.
• Do not modify the device in any
way. Have repairs to the device
or the power supply unit per-
formed only by an authorized
repair shop or service centre.
• Place the device only on a
solid, level, and moisture-resist-
ant surface.
• Do not cover the device - par-
ticularly the ventilation openings.
• It cannot be completely exclud-
ed that some varnishes, plas-
tics, or furniture care products
may deteriorate and soften the
material of the non-slip feet.
Therefore please place a non-
slip pad underneath the device
if required.
• Do not place the device directly
underneath a shelf or a wall
unit; the water vapour could
damage such.
• Aromas containing oil (e.g.
eucalyptus oil) must not be
used as these may damage the
device. Use only water-soluble
aromas.
• Do not transport the device with
a filled water tank.
• Do not operate the device if it
contains very little or no liquid.
• The device must be emptied
and cleaned before storage. The
device must be cleaned before
the next use.
