information in this brochure carefully and follow the recommendations concerning:

This appliance is for professional use only and must be used by qualified
personnel.
It must be set up in compliance with the regulations in force.

INSTALLATION
1.1) SETTING UP
- Wall fixing with 2 screws through the metal.
- Pierce two holes in the wall, countermarked with the cabinet and place in the holes
two pegs and screws without tightening.
- Hang up the cabinet on the 2 screws and make sure that it is in horizontal position
before tightening the screws.
1.2) ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The appliance must be supplied with the tension 220-230V single phase, 50Hz (60Hz for U.K)
Electrical connection which does not agree with the indicated tension “220-230V single
phase, 50Hz” (60Hz for U.K) cause the cancellation of the guarantee.
 If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the special supply cable reference:
6570 MZ 3075 (6570 MZ 3100ANG for U.K) available in the factory or in the after-sales service.
USE
 Connect the disinfection cabinet to the network 220-230V single phase according to indications.
Place the knives on the magnetic bar or in the basket carrier after their cleaning and drying.
Cabinet should be used carefully. The radiation UVC could cause physiological disorder.
Eyes and uncovered parts of the body should be kept away from the radiation of the
germicide lamp.
 Close the glass door(s) because it is essential to protect the skin and the eyes from the ultraviolet
radiation, opened door can also disturb the disinfection of the knives.
 Set the timer on 30 min. The bacterium are eliminated by the ultraviolet radiation.
 After 30 min, the tube goes off automatically.
Return the knives on the magnet to disinfect the other side during 30 min.
It is not necessary to return the knives in case of cabinet with slides.
 Set the timer on 30 min and wait for the automatically stop.
 We recommend disinfecting the knives just before use.
 If the knives are not used immediately, put them into an alcoholic solution to keep the disinfection
effect.

CLEANING
- Disconnect the cabinet before cleaning.
- The timer will be protected from the infiltration
- Do not use abrasive or corrosive products (solvents, scour powder, acid
detergents)
- Do not clean with the hose.
- Use an antistatic rag or humid sponge to remove dust from the plexi-glass door.
(Proscribe all alcoholic products)
- Use only a sponge or a soft rag with a soap water to clean all chromes or visible
parts.
- Use a rag or a humid sponge to clean the non-visible parts (under cabinet).
MAINTENANCE
- Maintenance operations consist in replacing of the damaged or used parts.
- We recommend using only original SOFINOR parts that you can get from your
retailer.
- The after-sale service SOFINOR remains at your disposal for all technical
information concerning the replacing and delivery of parts.

- Guarantee is not valid for the parts, which were damaged because of:
- an impact,
- a connection to the wrong electric supply,
- an use of abrasive or corrosive cleaning products,
- a setting of non-guaranteed parts.
