1. Get to know your Solio Alfa+
Solio Alfa+ is an energy-based device that provides relief from pain resulting from sports
injuries, chronic pain, trauma or menstruation. It is a powerful electrical device and should
be used with special attention to safety. Be sure to read all warnings,contraindications
and safety precautions before use,and follow them strictly. We recommend you
re-familiarise yourself with the instructions before each treatment.

1.2 Device description
Solio Alfa+ is a hand held device that provides pain relief. The device has an adjustable strap
(#1), a controlbutton (#2), 3 indicatorlights(#3,4,5), a treatment surfacewith 4 electrodes (#6), and
an AC/DC adapter with cable (#7). Refer to the diagram at the front of this manual to see the
location of each feature of your Solio Alfa+.
1.3 Intended use
Solio Alfa+ is intended to provide pain relief. Typical uses are for the relief of aching muscles,
muscle spasms, trapped nerves, sprains, sti or swollen joints, minor arthritis, carpal tunnel
syndrome, tennis elbow, tendon injuries, neuropathic pain, general inammations, or
menstrual pain.

2. Contraindications & warnings
This device must not be used by the following people: children, adults
with limited physical, sensory or psychological capacities, or those lacking
experience or knowledge in how to use the device. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Do not use Solio Alfa+ for any purpose other than as described in this
manual.
Do not use Solio Alfa+ if you have:
Ea history of skin cancer or areas of potential skin malignancies.
Eappliedtopical sterwoids on thetreatmentareawithin the lastmonth.
Ereceived radiation therapy or chemotherapy treatments within the
past 3 months.
Ea pacemaker, heart arrhythmias or any other severe known heart
disorder.
Ean implantable metal device, or pierced jewelry in the treatment area
Ea history of diseases stimulated by heat, such as recurrent herpes
simplex in the treatment area, unless you have consulted your
physician, and received preventative treatment before using the
device.

Ea disease related to photosensitivity, such as porphyria,
polymorphic light eruption, solar urticaria, lupus, etc.
Euncontrolled diabetes.
Eblood clotting disorders. Consult with your physician before treating.
Erecently treated the intended area with any of the following topical
substances: Alpha- Hydroxi Acids (AHAs), Beta-Hydroxi Acids (BHAs),
Retin-A®, retinoids, azelaic acid, or any other physician prescribed drug.
Consult your physician before use!
Eany skin condition such as active herpes, including brown or black
spots, birth marks, moles, warts, eczema, psoriasis or lesions in the
treatment area.
Eopen wounds in the treatment area. Wait for the area to heal before
using the device on that specic part of the body.
Esilicone implants in the treatment area.
Ebeen treated with Accutane® (isotretinoin) recently. Consult with your
physician.
Eany other condition which, in the opinion of your physician would
make it unsafe for you to use Solio Alfa+.

Additional warnings
EDo not use when you are pregnant or nursing.
EDo not use on the face.
EIf you have any discomfort when using the default treatment mode,
set the device to the treatment mode designed for small areas (2
lights on).
EDo not use the default mode (3 lights) or small areas mode
(2 lights) for the treatment of hot, swollen areas, areas diagnosed
as inamed, or areas with varicose veins. When treating these areas
always set the device to inammation mode (1 light).
ERemove all jewelry before treatments.
A
Donotusenearbathtubs,showers,basinsorothervesselscontaining
water. Do not place or store the device where it can fall, be pushed or
placed anywhere near water. There is a risk of electrocution. Unplug
immediately if the device comes into contact with water.
ENever leave the device unattended when plugged into an outlet.
Keep the AC/DC adapter accessible at all times, so it can be removed
from the socket easily in case of emergency.
EDo not carry the device by the AC/DC adapter cable.

EDo not attempt to modify, open or repair your device. You may
expose yourself to dangerous electrical components and may cause
serious harm to yourself.
3. Do not use Solio Alfa+ if:
Uthe adapter, attachments or accessories for this device are not approved by
DMT Ltd.
Uthe device has a damaged cable or adapter. Keep the power cable away from
heated surfaces.
Uyou see or smell smoke when it is in use.
Uthe device casing or treatment surface is cracked or damaged.
Uthe device has been dropped or has fallen onto a hard surface.
Uthe device is not working properly, or appears to be damaged in any other
way.
In such cases, contact Customer Service.

4. What to expect when using your Solio Alfa+
If you follow the instructions fully and pay attention to all warnings and contraindications,
complications and side eects are uncommon. However every energy-based therapy
device, including those designed for home use, involves some degree of risk. Therefore it is
important that you understand and accept the risks and complications that may occur.
During a treatment session it is normal to experience or feel:
Ua sensation of warmth: This is typical when using the device in 'default
mode' (the 3 indicator lights are on). The sensation should disappear by the
end of the treatment, or within an hour. If the sensation is uncomfortable for
you, continue the treatment using the setting with 2 indicator lights (refer to
the section 5.2 Treatment modes).
Unothing at all: This is typical when using the device in 'inammation mode'
(just 1 indicator light is on). Don't worry! The device still emits pain relief
energy, even though you don't feel any warmth.
Usome redness: It is not uncommon to see some mild, pink-like skin
colouration during or just after a treatment. Again, this is normal and should
fade within an hour or two.
Uslight swelling in the treated area: This should also disappear within an
hour or two.
EStop use immediately if any of these eects are more severe.
ESee your doctor if the eects do not go away within 2 to 3 days.

On rare occasions treating with Solio Alfa+ might cause:
Uexcessive swelling and redness, or burns and blisters. If this happens,
immediately use a damp cool cloth to cool the area for at least 10 minutes
and apply an anti-burn cream. In most cases these reactions subside within
a few days.
Ured spots in the treatment area which may last for a few days. If this happens,
we recommend that you cool the area with chilled water immediately.
EConsult your physician if these symptoms persist.
5. Get to know your Solio Alfa+
Solio Alfa+ is simple to use.
5.1 Device controls
UControl button (#2): Press to turn the device
on, and long press to turn it o.
ULights (#3, 4, 5):
All 3 lights go on when the device in turned
on. Short press to cycle between the modes
(refer to section 5.2 Treatment modes).

Solio Alfa+ only emits energy when it is on, you have applied Slider Gel, the treatment surface
is in good contact with the skin, and you are moving the device across your skin. When
Solio Alfa+ emits energy there will be a constant red glow from the treatment
surface.
MSolio Alfa+ Slider Gel (or any other conductive gel) enables conductivitty.Without the
gel, the device will not work. Make sure that you always have a generous amount of
gel on your skin.
5.2 Treatment modes
For maximum comfort, exibility and eect, Solio Alfa+ has three treatment modes, to suit
the type of pain and the part of the body being treated.
Types of pain and treatment area Lights
Most pain types, and most parts of the body
Small areas (e.g, palms, ankles)
Hot, swollen areas, or areas diagnosed as inamed, or
areas with varicose veins
MWhen the device is in 'inammation mode' (only one indicator light is on),
you will not sense the warmth that is typical when using the other treatment
modes of Solio Alfa+.

5.3 Adjusting the strap
If the strap is too tight, you can remove the rubber section (#1).
UTo release the section, press the top of the strap
until the section pops out.
UTo put the section back, line it up from below and
push it back into place.
5.4 Treatment Plan
A full Solio Alfa+ treatment session takes just 10-20 minutes.
Treatment intervals
UStart treating up to twice a day for up to 10 days.
UIf the pain persists after 10 days, continue treating once a day for up to 90
days.
UIf the pain persists after that, continue treating 2-3 times a week, until the
pain disappears.
EUse Solio Alfa+ only as long as you feel pain.

6. Get started!
To use Solio Alfa+, follow these steps:
1. Remove the device and other components from box.
2. Plug the adapter cable into the device socket and plug the adapter into an electrical
outlet.
3. Make sure your skin is clean and dry, then apply a thin layer of Slider Gel to the
treatment area.
4. Press the control button. All three indicator lights will go on, and your device is ready.
5. Adjust the treatment mode for the area you are treating (refer to section
5.2Treatment modes).
6. Place the treatment surface on your skin, and move the device in a circular motion
across your skin for the recommended period (refer to section 5.4Treatment Plan).
7. After treatment
When you have nished your treatment session:
1. To turn the device o, long press the control button.
2. Unplug the adapter from the electrical outlet.
3. We recommend you clean the treatment area to remove any residue of Slider Gel.

8. Maintenance and storage
It is important to clean your device after each treatment.
LUnplug the device.
LUse a clean damp cloth to clean the device and treatment surface. You may
use cleaning uids with up to 70% alcohol, but never use acetone or other
abrasive liquids, because they will damage your device.
LAfter cleaning, we recommend you store the device in its original box.
ENever immerse your device or any of its parts in water.

10. Warranty
What DoesThis Warranty Cover?
DMT Ltd, its applicable aliates (hereinafter: DMT Ltd) or the authorized dealer from whom
you purchased your product (hereinafter: the Device) shall repair or replace the Device, if any
material defects caused by DMT Ltd are discovered in the Device during the warranty period,
whether in the body of the Device or its operation.

Who is entitled to warranty by virtue of this warranty certificate?
Only you, the original buyer of the Device who purchased the Device from DMT Ltd or its
authorized dealers, are entitled to receive the warranty specied in this warranty certicate.
In order to be entitled to the warranty service, you need to provide a proof that you are the
original buyer of the Device by presenting an original receipt for purchase of the Device.This
warranty is not an international warranty. The warranty will only be honored in the country
in which the authorized dealer or the DMT Ltd entity from whom you purchased the Device,
are located.
What period does this warranty certificate cover?
The warranty covers repair requests received within one year (1) from the Device’s original
purchase date. Repair requests after one year (1) from the date of purchase are not covered by
this certicate of warranty. Repair requests regarding a Device that was repaired or replaced
must be submitted no later than: (a) one year (1) from the original purchase date of the
Device or (b) ninety (90) days from the date that the repaired or replaced Device was returned
to you, the later to occur. If a sticker is attached to your Device stating a warranty period longer
than that indicated above, the warranty period mentioned on the sticker will apply, and the
Device will be repaired or replaced as part of the warranty until such period expires.
If you purchased the Device in an EU country, you have an additional year (according to
the EU-Directive 1999/44) to claim for deciencies or malfunctioning of your Device, which
were present at the time of purchase, but were not apparent then, as determined by DMT
Ltd or the authorized dealer. In order to make this extended warranty eective you must
contact the authorized dealer from whom you purchased the Device or the local service
center and notify them about the production fault immediately, and no later than 60 days
after detecting the fault.

How to get service for the warranty?
When asking for customer services you may be asked to ll in a form for returning the
product and you shall receive a reference number. In case of a defect that is not covered by
the warranty for whatever reason, DMT Ltd can charge you for the shipping and repair costs
if you agreed to repair the Device at your expense.
What is not covered by this certificate of warranty?
This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from an accident, misuse (including
using the Device other than as described in the use instructions accompanying the Device),
defective use, lack of reasonable care, irregular and unreasonable use including without
limitation commercial or professional use, adding parts not supplied together with the
Device, losing parts, using unauthorized spare parts or exposing the Device to any electrical
current other than the indicated current. The warranty will be cancelled if the Device was
treated by anyone not authorized by DMT Ltd and DMT Ltd will not be liable for any damage
resulting from repairs performed by anyone not authorized by DMT Ltd. The warranty does
not include replacing used non-durable parts.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY, AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR
ANY DEFECT OF THE DEVICE.
LIMITATIONS
IN NO EVENT SHALL DMT Ltd, ITS AFFILIATES OR AUTHORIZED DEALERS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INDIRECT,SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
(INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF USE OR CHARGES FOR
SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT), REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM
IS BASED EVEN IF THEY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN
THE EVENT THATTHE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE HELD TO FAIL OFTHEIR
ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OR IF DMT Ltd, ITS AFFILIATES OR AUTHORIZED DEALERS ARE HELD

TO BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ON THE BASIS OF ANY LEGAL THEORY, IN NO EVENT SHALL
DMT Ltd’, ITS AFFILIATES OR AUTHORIZED DEALERS, LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES EXCEED THE
WHOLESALE PRICE OF A SINGLE UNIT OF THE DEVICE AS OF THE DATE THATTHE CAUSE OF
ACTION ACCRUES. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND LIABILITY FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY
TO YOU AND YOUR PROPERTY AND TO OTHERS AND THEIR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF
THE USE OR MISUSE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE,THE DEVICE EXCEPT TOTHE EXTENT CAUSED
DIRECTLY BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF DMT Ltd.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER
RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. SOME COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW
THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR
IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU.
11. Troubleshooting
Do not attempt to open or repair your device. You may exposure yourself to dangerous
electrical components and may cause serious harm to yourself. It will also void the warranty.
Problem Checks
My Solio Alfa+ does
not start.
Make sure the adapter is properly connected to the device, that it
is plugged into an electrical outlet on the wall, and that you have
pressed the control button.
There is no energy
emitted when the
device touches my skin.
Check that:
ythe device is connected and turned on
yyou have applied sucient gel
ythe treatment surface is in good contact with the skin, and
yyou are moving the device across the treatment area

Problem Checks
