Introduction
Refit Cam is a portable home health camera. It can provide you with easy monitoring of ear,
nose, mouth, scalp and skin which are difficult to see with naked eye. In addition, you can
also use it to observe tiny letters, parts, bugs, fibers, prints, and etc. in a large scale. In order
to use the Refit Cam, you need to install a dedicated application (RefitCam) on your
smartphone. You can download it from Google Play store or App store with the name
‘RefitCam’.
Precautions
Refit Cam can be used with Android smartphone via USB OTG, and can also work with iOS
smartphone through a Refit gateway (SHC-GT1).
Refit Cam doesn't need any charge because it has no battery. So, except for breakdown and
deformation due to mishandling, it can be used semi-permanently.
►Please read the user guide before using Refit Cam to use it safely and correctly.
►The image on the user guide can differ from the actual product.
►The contents in the user guide may change according to the software version update.

How to Connect (Android OS Smartphones)
►Download the RefitCam application from the Google Play store and install it.
►Connect Refit Cam USB cable to the micro 5-pin charging terminal of your smartphone.
►When a pop-up window saying ‘Open Refit Cam’ appears, check the box and click ‘OK’.
Then, every time you connect Refit Cam to your smartphone, RefitCam application will
start automatically.
►If the Refit Cam is connected to your smartphone properly, the main screen appears and
you are ready to take images and videos.
►If the connection fails and a window saying ‘Connection with RefitCam failed’ is displayed,
disconnect the Refit Cam and just reconnect it to your smartphone.
►Place the Refit Cam on the site to be observed, and check the images on your
smartphone.

How to Connect (iOS Smartphones)
►In case of iPhone, you need a Refit gateway (SHC-GT1).
※Refit gateway (SHC-GT1) sold separately.
►Connect a power adapter or the output code of a portable battery to the power socket of
the gateway tightly.
►Connect the Refit Cam to the gateway.
►Find the “Refit Cam Gateway” from the iPhone WiFi search box and activate it. (It takes
about 1~2 minutes depending on communication status.)
►Run the RefitCam application and see the images on the screen of your iPhone.
※When using Refit Cam for a long time (30 minutes over), the battery of the smartphone
may be over discharged and the device may generate a slight heat. Please disconnect Refit
Cam from the smartphone for a few minutes and then reconnect it.
How to Connect (PC)
►To connect the Refit Cam to the PC, you must use the Micro B(F)-USB A(M) OTG
conversion gender.
►Download and install VLC player, a video player based on a free open source platform, for
use in a PC environment with Refit Cam. ( http://www.videolan.org )
►Connect Refit Cam to the PC and run the VLC player. (On the menu toolbar, select
Media>Open Capture Device, set the video device to ‘Endoscope’ in the device selection
area on the Capture Open Device tab.)
►Press the play button and see the screen.

Tips
►You’d better use the straight type Refit Cam (SHC-CM1S) covering the tip with the silicon
cap provided.
►With the silicon cap on, make sure the silicon cap is touching the object you want to
observe.
※If the Refit Cam is out of focus, press the silicon cap slightly. If the focal distance is
correct, you can see a clear image.
►When you use the bent type Refit Cam (SHC-CM1R), set the distance between the Refit
Cam surface and the object to 2cm.
※When you want to observe objects in dark and narrow places, it is convenient to put on a
silicon cap and observe.

Storage and Handling Precautions
►Do not use or store the Refit Cam in direct sunlight or high humidity..
►Do not use the Refit Cam near fire equipment.
►Do not disassemble or cause impact to your Refit Cam.
►Be careful not to let water get inside the Refit Cam, as it may cause malfunction.
Warranty
If the product fails within a year from the date of purchase, it will have one year warranty
period and will be repaired free of charge. When you ask for a repair, you need to mention

about the model and the date of purchase for sufficient services.
※For the following failures, you need to pay for technical supports and replacement parts.
►In case of failure due to customer negligence.
►Dissemble the product for different purposes other than normal standard repair process
at Solmitech.
►In case of damage or failure due to shock.
►Erosion due to storage under water and debris contamination.
►Failure due to natural disaster like fire, earthquake, flood, lighting etc.
►In these events of failure, service technician designated by supplier of the product is not
responsible for repair/renovation.
►In event of power failures caused by over use of the product.
►Other faults recognized as the user’s negligence.
