2. Connection
The terminal assignment is dependent on the length of the included cable. The 6 m standard
cable is black and has a blue wire for the negative pole (- VDC). The RL-15 needs a direct
voltage supply between 9.6 … 36 V.

3. Signal output
The sensor consumes a
current between 4 and
20 mA reverse proportional
to the distance to water
surface.
The consumes current at
the + VDC / - VDC wires is
proportional to the level of
the river.
Caution: After power on a holdback time of 60 s is recommended to guarantee a high
accurate level value.
