You can connect directly external devices such as: mobile phone, computer, CD/DVD player, musical instrument, microphone with the help of the wireless BT connection a 3,5 mm audio input (AUX IN) and a 6,3 mm microphone input (MIC). The device includes a BT/FM/USB/microSD/MP3 multimedia player, with which you can take WAV recording with an external microphone (option). Its accessories are a remote control, an audio connector cable and a USB charger cable. CHARGING THE ACCUMULATOR• The built-in battery needs to be charged before the first time of use. Connect the supplied charger cable to the switched off speaker's microUSB (DC5V) socket, and the other end of it into e.g. a USB socket of a computer. You can use a USB power charger (e.g. SA 1100USB, SA 2100USB) or you can use your mobile phone's charger as well. During charging the red CHARGE LED is lighting above the microUSB socket. Finish charging the switched off device latest after 20-24 hours. In case of fully depleted battery, the charging time is approx. 15-18 hours. This provides approx. 13 hour operation from internal battery, at medium volume. This depends on the set volume, the selected operation mode and also the environmental temperature. The test was conducted by listening to the radio at room temperature. The device can be charged while it is in use, but this increases the charging time. • Start charging when the volume decreases or the sound quality deteriorates. • Disconnect the charger cable after charging and / or use! • If you listen to it while charging, there may network noise generate in the speakers. • To ensure longer service life, keep the battery fully charged when not in use!• Recharge it every two months even when it is not in use! Acting as prescribed it can be recharged 500 times.• If the battery has reached the end of its service life, it is hazardous waste. It can be removed after removing the screw on the back cover. If necessary, consult a technician who can replace it again. INSTALLATION, SELECTING FUNCTIONSwitch on the device by rotating the VOLUME button. The factory setting is the BT mode, BLUE sign appears on the screen accompanied by voice announcement. By pressing the MODE button you can select operation mode, which is also indicated by voice announcement: LINE MODE (wired, 3.5 mm AUX IN audio input) / FM MODE (FM radio) / BT mode. If you connect a memory card or an external USB device, playback starts automatically. Until you remove the storage device, the MODE button also provides this function (USB MODE). You can temporarily switch it to standby with the remote control, or press VOLUME to switch it off. THE MODES OF SETTING THE VOLUME AND TONE Depending on the connected sources and the mode, it is possible to adjust the volume of the sources independently, as if they had a mini mixer. M. VOL: controls the volume of the connected external microphone : controls the volume of the multimedia unit by holding it pressed, beeps when reaching the MIN.-MAX. (V00-V15) value (in BT-FM-MP3-USD-microSD-and AUX mode) VOLUME: controls all the sound sources together : mute the speakersVOL-/VOL+: the volume control of the remote control EQ: the tone control of the remote control in BT, USB, microSD mode (CLASSIC, COUNTRY, NORMAL, POP, ROCK, JAZZ soundings) • The volume and sound quality of BT and AUX mode are highly influenced by the volume and tone settings of the external source. THE MAXIMAL VOLUMEEvery speaker must be eased into working before proper usage. In the first 30-50 operation hours it should only run at 50% capacity! At higher volume levels – in some cases – there may be distorted, low-quality sound. This can be caused by the too large input signal. To avoid this, reduce the signal level of the particular external equipment or if necessary the main volume (VOLUME). The system's maximum volume is that which can still be heard without distortions.• By further increasing the volume, there is no increase in output power, or even the distortion of the system increases! This is harmful to the loudspeaker and may cause malfunction!• Do not forget that different signal sources often require different settings, otherwise the sound quality may be impaired. Some settings do not apply to some sources, such as EQ for FM radio and AUX, MIC inputs.USING THE RADIOSelect the FM radio mode (MODE button. The display shows the reception frequency (e.g. 1014=101,4 MHz). To start automatic tuning and storing, hold pressed the button for 2 seconds. After fixing the radio stations, you can scroll them by pressing the buttons shortly. On the display the P 01…P 35 program positions show the radio station. The speaker has a built-in antenna, therefore, set the device to the position for the best reception. Connecting an AUX audio cable as an auxiliary antenna can improve reception.• Search stops when it detects a variable signal strength - this does not always mean finding a radio program.• The reception of the radio depends to a great extent on the location of use and the current reception conditions • Do not have a larger metal object or electric appliance near the device! MP3 PLAYBACK (from microSD memory card or USB device)When inserting the memory unit, the device announces that it changes to USB mode and playback starts. The display shows the elapsed time from the actual program, the actual function (play/pause), the storage device (USB/SD) and the file format (MP3). Available functions: play and pause / scrolling track or volume control by pressing the volume control (Volume 00…Volume 15). The functions of the remote control's repeat (RPT) button: ALL (all songs), ONE (actual song), FOLDER (library), NORMAL (no repeat), RANDOM (random order) • Only remove the external memory after you have changed to a different source with the MODE button or you have switched off the player! Otherwise, the data may be corrupted. Do not remove the connected external unit during playback!• The recommended file system for memory is: FAT32. Do not use NTFS formatted memory unit! • When the device is inserted, playback starts form the first song. If you have previously listened to it, playback will start form the last track you selected, even if you switched off the unit and removed the device. • Abnormal operation may be caused by the unique features of the mass storage device, which does not indicate a malfunction of the device!• Do not charge a device (e.g. mobile phone) from the USB socket!USING WIRELESS BT MODE The device can be paired to other devices with BT protocol within a range of up to 10 meters. After that, you can listen to music played on mobile phone, tablet, notebook and other similar devices hands-free. Select BT function with the MODE button. Search for the speakers nearby including this speaker, the way it's written in the instruction manual of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices together. Successful connection is indicated by „BT CONNECTED” announcement. Thereafter, the desired program can be heard from the speaker in good quality. The player device (e.g. the mobile phone) can usually be remotely controlled by pressing briefly the / / buttons.• If you have previously paired an external BT device to it – and it is nearby – the connection will be done automatically. • A speaker can be paired with one BT device at the same time. • If wireless connection is interrupted, if necessary, keep pressing the INPUT button, until it's back to BT function, and pairing mode activates again. • When a phone call is received on the connected mobile phone while listening to music, music playback pauses. After the conversation, start the continuation of playing on the phone.• The actual range depends on the other device and the ambient conditions. (e.g. walls, human bodies, other electrical devices, movement ...)• Abnormal operation, noise can be caused by the electrical appliances nearby, this does not indicate a malfunction of the device!• Abnormal operation may be caused by the specific features of the external device, which does not indicate a malfunction of the device! Occasionally, the BT function may operate limited due to the specific features of the external dev
