IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your HA360M-II, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to
persons including the following:
1. Read and understand all instructions, if there is something you do
not understand please call our customer service.
2. Do not use any electrical product near a bathtub, wash basin,
kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or close to a
swimming pool or anywhere else there is water.
3. Do not use a telephone anywhere near a gas leak.
4. Avoid using a telephone (other than a cordless type) during a
storm. There may be a risk of electrical shock from lightning and
electrical storms.
5. Always unplug this product from the wall power outlet before
cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners on the
product. Use a damp cloth for cleaning only.
6. Always place this product on a stable surface. Serious damage
and/or injury may result if the product falls.
7. Do not cover slots, vents, or openings on this product. This
product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat
register. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation
unless proper ventilation is provided.
8. Always operate this product using electrical voltage as specified
on the base unit or in the user guide. If you are not sure of the
voltage in your home, consult your dealer or local power
company.
9. Do not place anything on the power cord. Install the product
where no one will step or trip on the cord.
10. Never push any objects through the slots in the product. They can
touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could
result in a risk of fire or electrical shock. Never spill liquid of any
kind on the product
11. Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords as this can
increase the risk of fire or electrical shock.

12. Unplug this product from the wall outlets and refer servicing to
the manufacturer under the following conditions:
A. When power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
B. If water or liquid has been spilled into or on the product.
C. If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
D. If the product does not operate normally by following the
operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are
covered by the operating instructions. Improper adjustment
may require extensive work by a qualified technician.
E. If the product has been dropped or if the case has been
damaged in anyway.
13. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not take this product
apart. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous
voltages or other risks. Incorrect reassembly can cause electric
shock when the appliance is subsequently used.
14. Never install telephone wiring during a lightning storm.
15. Never install telephone jacks in damp or wet areas.
16. Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the
telephone line and power supply have first been disconnected.
17. Always use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines.
18. Use only the power cord and batteries indicated in this manual.
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. They may explode. Check
with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.
19. This product should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and
that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on
or near the product.
20. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine
or fire or any other heat source.
21. The Main unit’s power supply plug is used as the disconnect
device, which shall remain readily operable.

SETTING UP YOUR MAIN UNIT FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove all contents of the box. Plug in the power supply in
the 5.1V 2A DC IN on the back of the unit and plug the main
unit in a 120V outlet.
GETTING STARTED TIME AND ALARM SETTINGS
Setting the Time of Day
1. Press the TIME SET button. Blinking red dots shown on the
display indicate time set mode has been activated.
2. Press the HOUR buttons up or down and the MINUTES
buttons up or down to set desired time. The PM indicator is
located on the top left-hand side (see diagram next page).
3. Press the ENTER button when done to complete time
setting.
- Display dots will stop blinking to indicate time has been
set.
Setting Alarm Times - there are two alarms AL1 and AL2.
Setting Alarm 1
1. Press and hold ALARM 1 SET button. Blinking red dots
shown on the display indicate alarm set mode has been
activated.
2. Press the HOUR buttons up or down and the MINUTE
buttons to set desired alarm time.
3. Press the ENTER button when done to complete, a red LED
light will appear on the display’s left side indicating AL1is
now set (see diagram next page).
Setting Alarm 2
Follow the same steps for alarm 1 above to set alarm 2 it will
have its own indicator light also located on the left as AL2.

Turning Off Alarm
To turn off alarm AL1or AL2press ALARM OFF or SNOOZE
button.If you want to turn off the alarm completely, press
ALARM 1 SET or ALARM 2 SET. The red indicator light will go
off depending on the alarm you are shutting off.
SNOOZE AND ALARM DURATION
Setting Alarm Duration
Alarm duration will allow you to select the length of time that
the alarm will run (5 min to 30 min).
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button and the word CLOCKwill be shown
on the display, press ENTER, the word ONTIME will be
shown on the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button to set the desired alarm duration (5
min – 30 min) and press ENTER to complete alarm duration
setting.

SNOOZE AND ALARM DURATION Continued
Setting Snooze Duration
Snooze duration will allow you to select the length of time that
the snooze alarm will run (5 min to 30 min).
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button and the word CLOCK will be shown
on the display, press ENTER, the word ONTIME will be
shown on the display.
3. Press the TONE button until the word SNOOZE is displayed,
press ENTER. The default snooze duration is set for 10
minutes if this is your desired snooze duration press ENTER.
If you would like a shorter or longer snooze duration (5 min
to 30 min) press the TONE button to toggle until desired
snooze duration is displayed and press ENTER.
AUTO DIMMER AND ALERT SETTINGS
Automatic Display Dimmer
The HA360M-II has a built-in auto dimmer. It will automatically
dim when the room gets darker.The auto dimmer can also be
turned off and will stay bright even when the room gets dark.
Turning Off the Automatic Dimmer
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button and the word CLOCK will be shown
on the display.
3. Press the TONE button until the word DIM is shown on the
display, press ENTER.
4. Press the TONE button to toggle between ON or OFF, press
ENTER on your selection.

Alerts Option (Number of Alerts)
The HA360M-II has alert options that will let the user pick how
many times they will be alerted 3, 6 or 9 times.
Setting the Alerts Option
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word ALERTS is shown on
the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button to toggle between 3,6,or 9, press
ENTER on your selection.
AUDIO AND VIBRATOR ALARM SETTINGS
Alarm1 – Setting Vibrator Alarm Options
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button and the word CLOCK will be shown
on the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button until the word ALARM1 is shown on
the display.
4. Press the ENTER button and the word VIBR will be shown
on the display.
5. Press the ENTER button and the word ON will be shown on
the display, press ENTER.
Alarm1 – Setting Audio Alarm Options
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONEbutton and the word CLOCKwill be shown
on the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button until the word ALARM1 is shown on
the display.

4. Press the ENTER button and the word VIBR will be shown
on the display.
5. Press the TONE button until the word AUDIO is shown on
the display, press ENTER.
6. Press the TONE button to toggle between ON or OFF, press
ENTER on your selection.
Alarm2 – Setting Alarm Options
Follow the same steps above when setting alarm 2.
NOTE: The vibrator is an optional accessory.
12 OR 24 HOUR MODE AND VOLUME / TONE SETTINGS
Select 12 or 24 Hour Mode
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button and the word CLOCK will be shown
on the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button until 12 / 24 is shown on the display,
press ENTER.
4. Press the TONE button to toggle between 12 HR and 24 HR,
press ENTER on your selection.
Speaker Volume and Tone Setting
1. Press the VOLUME up and the HOUR down buttons to
select the preferred volume level. There are 8 volume
levels and an OFF level to completely turn off the sound.
2. Press the TONE up and the MINUTE down buttons to select
the preferred tone level. There are 15 different tones to
select from.

FLASH SETTINGS
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word FLASH is shown on
the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button to toggle between HIGH, LOW or
OFF, press ENTER on your selection.
BRIDGE SETTINGS
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word BRIDGE is shown on
the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button to toggle between ON and OFF,
press ENTER on your selection.
VIBRATOR SENSOR SETTINGS (V SENS)
This vibrator sensor setting is if you want to be alerted if the
vibrator is in use and becomes disconnected from the main unit.
If you are not using a vibrator, your selection would be set to
OFF.
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINKwill be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word V SENS is shown on
the display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button to toggle between ON and OFF,
press ENTER on your selection.

SMOKE / CO SENSOR SETTINGS (SENS)
This alert setting is for the threshold of loud sound.
High sensitivity: The trigger threshold is between 95dBA to
100dBA depending on the unit.
Low sensitivity: The trigger threshold is between 100dBA to
105dBA depending on the unit.
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word SENS is shown on the
display, press ENTER.
3. Press the TONE button to toggle between HIGH, T3/T4 and
LOW, press ENTER on your selection.
LANGUAGE SETTINGS
Language
The HA360M-II can be set to display three different languages,
English, Spanish, or French.
Setting Language Preference
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word LANG is shown on the
display, press Enter.
3. Press the Tone button to toggle between ENG, ESP or FRA,
press Enter on your selection.
VOICE SETTINGS
Turning Voice Alert ON or OFF
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.

the display, press Enter.
3. Press the Tonebutton to toggle between ON and OFF, press
Enter on your selection.
REMOVE SETTINGS
Removing a Linked Device
4. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
5. Press the TONE button until the word REMOVE is shown on
the display, press Enter.
6. Press the Tone button to toggle between ON and OFF, press
Enter on your selection.
RESET SETTINGS
Resetting the Main Unit
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be
shown on the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word RESET is
shown on the display, press Enter.
3. SURE? is shown on the display, press ENTER if you
are sure.
EXTERNAL ALERT SETTINGS See Back of Unit
1. Press SET UP button and the word LINK will be shown on
the display.
2. Press the TONE button until the word EXTERN is shown on
the display, press Enter.
3. The alert is shown on the display when the EXTERNAL ALERT
connector is triggered.

BLUETOOTH AND HOMEAWARE APP
Be notified on the HA360M-II when you receive incoming calls
and text messages on your smartphone. Notifications are shown
on the HA360M-II. Receive notifications on your smartphone
when an event occurs on the HomeAHA360-II system (doorbell,
help, smoke, etc).
1. Install HA360M-II app on your smartphone. Available for iOS
on the Apple App Store®, and for Android™ on the Google
Play™ Store.
2. Follow the instructions in the HomeAware™ app to link your
smartphone with the HA360-II.
USB CHARGING See Back of Unit
The HA360M-II is equipped with a convenient USB charging port
on the back panel that allows you to recharge many brands of
mobile phones, portable music players, and other handheld
devices, tablets not included.
TELEPHONE ALERT FOR LANDLINE PHONES See Back of Unit
The HA360M-II has the capability to alert you to a standard land
line telephone. Follow the steps below to install a telephone to
the HA360M-II.
1. Place the HA360M-II Main unit close to a RJ11 standard
telephone wall jack. If the provided telephone line cord is
not long enough to reach the HA360M-II you will need to
either move the HA360M-II closer to the input jack or
purchase a longer line cord.
2. Plug the phone line cord into the RJ11 wall jack.
3. Plug the opposite end of the phone line cord into the back of
the HA360M-II where it says TEL LINE. You are now ready to
receive alerts for all phone calls coming in from this phone.

4. You can also utilize the HA360M-II to add a phone to its
input jack on the back of the unit. Simply plug your phone
into the back where it says TEL your landline phone is now
ready to make and receive calls.
BATTERY BACKUP Internal Battery
To activate your rechargeable battery, slide the battery
compartment on the back of the HA360M-II and remove tag.
Slide the battery door back on to close.

SONIC ALERT’S 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The HA360M-II is warranted against manufacturing defects in
materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of
purchase. Within this period Sonic Alert will repair or replace at our
option the HA360M-II without charge for parts and labor.
Simply contact our customer service department to obtain an
RMA (return authorization number) and instructions on how to
process your product for return. Call 1-248-577-5400 or e-mail
to customerservice@sonicalert.com. You’ll need a copy of your
receipt to process the return authorization.
