Pairing Hearing Aids to SoundClip-A
Ensure SoundClip-A
is powered OFF
Open and close the
battery door of the
Enchant hearing aids
SoundClip-A searches
for the Enchant hearing
aids (blinks yellow)
Switch SoundClip-A

Bluetooth connection is
established (solid yellow)

Bring Enchant aids close to the

Answering a Phone Call
• Phone connected
• Status indicator is steady blue
• Phone rings
• Enchant instruments play an audio indication (i.e. individual ring tone)
• Status indicator blinks green
• Answer phone call
• Short press on the multi-button or answer the call on the mobile
• Once the call is answered the status indicator is steady green
• End phone call
• Short press on the multi-button or end call on the mobile phone
• Status indicator is back to steady blue
Listen to Music with SoundClip-A
• Can be used with a
ny mobile phone that offers BT 2.1*

More Features and Functions
• Pairing with to up to 8 devices is possible – including multiple
phones
• SoundClip-A connects to the first paired phone before 2nd paired phone
• No streaming of phone calls during remote microphone mode
• Lost connection to hearing aids (i.e. range)
• After 90 sec the Enchant instruments return to the initial program
• Forget BT pairings
• Multi-button + up + down needs to be pressed and held for 10 sec
• Status indicator blinks red
Recommendation for iPhone use
• Deactivate the option “Play Ringtones” under
the “MFi Hearing Aids” menu
• When a call is received the ringtone will be played
in hearing aids
• Rapidity of ringtones played in the hearing aids via
the SoundClip-A is improved
• Shown to increase the stability of the system
