取り付け
タイムコードインプット/アウトプットボードDSBK-130は、DSR-85/80/60な
どのソニーデジタルビデオカセットレコーダー/プレーヤー(以下「VTR」と
言います) のためのオプション基板です。本基板をVTRに取り付けること
により、SMPTEフォーマットに 準 拠したタイムコード(LTC) 信号の入出力
が可能になります。
本基板を取り付けたあとの接続や入出力信号の仕様については、VTRの
取扱説明書をご覧ください。
ご注意
本基板を取り付けた場合でも、VTRを標準速(1倍速)再生モードにしたと
きのみ、テープに記録されているタイムコードが出力されます。他のモード
にしたときは、タイムコード出力端子からは何も出力されません。
以下の設置説明 (「取り付け」の項) は、特約店およびソニーのサービス
窓口用の設置説明書です。
お客様がこの設置説明書に記載された作業を行うと、火災や、感電やけ
がなどの人身事故につながることがあります。
お客様自身では絶対に取り付け作業をしないでください。
本基板の取り付けは、必ずお買い上げ店またはソニーのサービス窓口に
ご依頼ください。

1VTR の天板を取り外し、次に基板押さえ (1) および (2) を取り外す。
2DSR-85の場合はSY-220基板を、DSR-80/60の場合はSY-241基板
を取り外す。
それぞれのSY基板は、VTRの前面から見て下記の位置のスロットに
装着されています。スロットフレームの 刻 印←SYで確認してくださ
い。
DSR-85のSY-220基板：一番右のスロット
DSR-80のSY-241基板：右から2番目のスロット
DSR-60のSY-241基板：右から2番目のスロット
ご注意
取り外した基板は、金属カバーを下側にして、机やテーブルの上面
など平坦な面に静かに置いてください。

3DSBK-130基板のコネクターを、SY-220またはSY-241基板のコネク
ターにしっかりと差し込む。
4DSBK-130に付属のネジ2本で、DSBK-130基板とSY-220または
SY-241基板を互いに固定する。

5SY-220またはSY-241基板を、VTRの基板スロットに戻す。
6手順1で取り外した基板押さえ(1)および(2)を取り付け、次にVTR
の天板を取り付ける。
基板押さえ (1) には7対のツメがあります。これらのツメが対応の基
板の上縁をはさむように取り付けてください。

Overview
The DSBK-130/130P Time Code Input/Output Board is an
option for the Sony DSR-85/85P/80/80P/60/60P or other
digital videocassette recorder/player (hereafter referred to as
“VCR”). When this option is fitted in the VCR, it becomes
possible to input and output an SMPTE- or EBU-format analog
time code (LTC) signal.
Note
Only when the VCR equipped with this board is in normal-
speed playback mode, a time code signal (read from the tape
being played back) will be output from the VCR’s time code
output connector. When the VCR is in any other mode, no
signal will be output from its time code output connector.
For the input and output signal specifications and connections,
refer to the Operating Instructions for the VCR.
Caution
If this option is installed incorrectly, personal injury or damage
to peripheral items may occur due to fire, shock, or other
accidental circumstances. To avoid such risks, installation
should be performed by qualified service personnel.

Installing the Driver Software
Installation
1Remove the top cover from the VCR, then remove the
board retainers (1) and (2).
2Remove the SY-220 board from the DSR-85/85P VCR, or
remove the SY-241 board from the DSR-80/80P/60/60P
VCR.
Seen from the front of the VCR, the SY-220/241 board is
in the following slot. Check that it matches the “NSY”
indication engraved in the top of the slot frame.
SY-220 on the DSR-85/85P: rightmost slot
SY-241 on the DSR-80/80P: second slot from the right
SY-241 on the DSR-60/60P: second slot from the right

After removing the board, place it carefully on a level
surface such as a workbench, with the metal cover
underneath.

3Plug the connector of the DSBK-130/130P board firmly
into the connector on the SY-220/241 board.
4With the two screws supplied with the DSBK-130/130P
board, fasten the DSBK-130/130P board to the SY-220/
241 board.

5Return the SY-220/241 board to the slot in the VCR.
6Reattach the board retainers (1) and (2) removed in step 1,
then the top cover of the VCR.
The board retainer (1) has seven pairs of tongues. Position
the retainer so that each pair of tongues holds the upper
edge of the corresponding board.

Aperçu
La carte d’entrée/sortie de temps codé DSBK-130/130P est une
option destinée au DSR-85/85P/80/80P/60/60P ou à tout autre
magnétoscope enregistreur/lecteur numérique Sony (appelé par
la suite “magnétoscope”). Son insertion dans le magnétoscope
permet l’entrée et la sortie de signaux de temps codé
analogiques de format SMPTE et EBU.
Remarque
Seulement quand le magnétoscope équipé de cette carte est en
vitesse de lecture normale, un signal de temps codé (lu de la
bande en cours de lecture) sera fourni par le connecteur de
sortie de temps codé du magnétoscope. Quand le
magnétoscope est dans un autre mode, aucun signal ne sera
fourni par son connecteur de sorite de temps codé.
Voir le mode d’emploi du magnétoscope pour les spécifications
et connexions des signaux d’entrée et de sortie.
Attention
Si cette option est mal installée, des blessures physiques ou des
dommages aux éléments périphériques pourront survenir à
cause d’un feu, d’une décharge électrique ou d’autres
circonstances accidentelles. Pour éviter de tels risques,
l’installation doit être faite par un personnel de service qualifié.

1Retirer le cache supérieur du magnétoscope, puis les
retenues de carte (1) et (2).
2Retirer la carte SY-220 du magnétoscope DSR-85/85P, ou
la carte SY-241 du magnétoscope DSR-80/80P/60/60P. Vu
de l’avant du magnétoscope, la carte SY-220/241 se trouve
dans le logement indiqué ci-dessous. Vérifier si cela
correspond à l’indication “NSY” gravée sur le cadre du
logement.
SY-220 sur le DSR-85/85P: 1er logement depuis la droite
SY-241 sur le DSR-80/80P: 2e logement depuis la droite
SY-241 sur le DSR-60/60P: 2e logement depuis la droite
Remarque
Après le retrait de la carte, la placer soigneusement sur une
surface plate tel que table de travail, avec le couvercle
métallique dirigé vers le bas.

3Raccorder fermement le connecteur de la carte DSBK-130/
130P au connecteur de la carte SY-220/241.
4Avec les deux vis fournies avec la carte DSBK-130/130P,
fixer la carte DSKB-130/130P à la carte SY-220/241.

5Remettre la carte SY-220/241 dans le logement du
magnétoscope.
6Réattacher les retenues de carte (1) et (2) déposées à
l’étape 1, puis le cache supérieur du magnétoscope.
La retenue de carte (1) est dotée de sept paires de lames de
contact. La positionner de sorte que chaque paire de lames
soit au contact de l’extrémité supérieure de la carte
correspondante.
