DO NOT USE
1.As with all electrical products do not use near water, when driving a car or when
operating heavy equipment.
CAUTIONS
1.Avoid breathing the ozone directly from the Airstone as it may irritate lung tissue.
Use in a well-ventilated area, such as under a stove top exhaust fan.
2.Do not leave the unit unattended while it is on.
3.While this technology is generally considered safe, there exists potential for rare
individual reactions that cannot reasonably be foreseen. Therefore, your use of
the SOTA Products constitutes your agreement that you are responsible for your
decision to use the technology.
HOW TO USE THE WATER OZONATOR
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
1.Connect one end of the rst 6 inch length of Silicone Tubing to the AIR OUTLET of
the XP-550 UL Aquarium Air
Pump.
Note: To make it easier to
connect, dip the end of the
silicone tubing in water. The
silicone tubing will then slip
on easier.
2.Connect the other end to the
AIR INLET side of the Brass
Check (One-way) Valve.
3.Connect one end of the second
6 inch length of Silicone
Tubing to the AIR OUTLET of the Brass Check (One-way) Valve. Connect the other
end to the AIR INLET of the Ozone Generator Unit.

4.Connect one end of the 4–foot length of the Silicone Tubing to the AIR OUTLET of
the Ozone Generator. Connect the other end to the Ceramic Airstone.
5.Using the 2 Plastic Ties, secure the Silicone Tubing connections on the Ozone
Generator. This will prevent Ozone Gas and air from leaking.
OZONATING WATER
1.Submerge the Ceramic Airstone, attached to the Silicone Tubing, in a glass container
of water. Use a glass container as glass is ozone resistant.
a. Chilled water holds more ozone but room temperature water is healthier for the
stomach.
b. It is important to place the water with
submerged airstone in a well-ventilated area,
as concentrated ozone in air may irritate lung
tissue. For example, under a stove-top fan.
Place the container of ozonating water well
away from the ozone unit.
Note: Ozonating liquids other than water may
clog the airstone and will void the warranty on
the airstone.
2. Plug in the XP-550 UL Aquarium Air Pump.
3.Plug the Wall Adapter into the Ozone Generator.
WARNING: Do not power the Ozone Generator
without the XP-550 UL Aquarium Air Pump
running.
4.Check to be sure ne bubbles pass out of the
Ceramic Airstone into the water. If you do not
see any bubbles, review the assembly instructions for possible errors. As the unit
operates, you should catch the smell of ozone.
5.A high-pitched whine should be heard from the Ozone Generator Unit. This
indicates the Ozone Generator Unit is powered.
Note: To hear the change in the intensity of whine, move the selector switch on the
Ozone Generator Unit from HIGH to LOW while it is running and then back to
HIGH.

6.To turn OFF, unplug the Ozone Generator unit, then the XP-550 Aquarium Air
Pump.
Allow water to drain from the tubing after use. This ensures water will not drain
back into the unit.
7.Use the freshly ozonated water immediately for optimal results. If left for 20 minutes
in open air, the ozone dissipates out of the water. The benets of the extra oxygen
will no longer be present.
Notes:
Temperature of Water: Chilled water holds more ozone, however room temperature
water is healthier for the stomach.
Storage: Larger quantities of ozonated water can be stored in a glass container
with an air-tight lid. The amount of ozone in the water will continue to dissipate,
eventually leaving no ozone in the water.
TYPICAL USE
Quantity: It is usually best to gradually increase the intake of ozonated water. To
begin, it is suggested to ozonate only one glass of water a day. If well tolerated,
increase to two or more glasses of ozonated water daily.
Length of Use: 16 ounces (500 ml) or more a day for 2 to 3 months. For ongoing use,
drink up to 16 ounces (500 ml) a day or as preferred. If using for an extended period,
it is wise to take breaks.
TIMING TO SATURATE WITH OZONE
One cup of cold puried water is saturated with ozone within 4 minutes to over 1,000
mV ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential).
