Press down the compartment cover, and slide
the cover off to open the compartment. Place the
two (Um3), (AA), (R6) batteries in the remote
control according to the polarity markings ("+" and
" - ") inside the compartment and on the batteries.
Place the cover over the compartment, press down
lightly, and push it upward until it snaps on.
NOTE : Remove the batteries from the remote
control if not in use for long period of the time.
Do not mix normal batteries with rechargeable
batteries, when the batteries become weak,
remote control will not function and replace with
new batteries.
OPERATING THE UNIT
When you first plug the unit into the AC outlet, the unit will be in standby mode , You can press the
POWER/STANDBY button on the unit ( or on the remote control ) to switch the unit ON or OFF. Pull the AC
plug out of the wall socket if you want to switch off completely.
POWER/STANDBY
1. Press POWER/STANDBY button on the unit (or remote) to switch the unit on.
2. Select the sound source (CD, USB, or TUNER) by pressing FUNCTION button.
3. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME (UP or DOWN) button.
4. Press POWER/STANDBY button again to turn off the unit.
CLOCK SETTING
Function switch on STANDBY position
1. Press & hold DISPLAY / CLOCK SET button until the time appear 24H digit flashing.
2. Press TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to adjust 12-hour or 24-hour digit.
3. Press DISPLAY / CLOCK SET button again, the time display HOUR digit flashing, press
TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to adjust HOUR digit; Press
DISPLAY / CLOCK SET button once more, the MINUTE digit flashing, adjust it by the
SKIP/SEARCH/TUNING (UP or DOWN) button.
4. Press the DISPLAY / CLOCK SET button again to confirm the time.
5. In the unit ON mode, you can press this button to display the current time.
6. Each enable state as shown above will be cleared if the key is not pushed in 10 seconds.

TIMER SETTING
If you want to remind yourself, You may press TIMER SET button to adjust the timer function from
180,120,90,75,60,45,30,20 up to 10,9,8...1, minutes of BUZZER before switch itself on automatically.
press this button again to cancel the timer function.
ALARM SETTING
Function switch on STANDBY position
1. Press & hold “ALARM 1” or “ALARM 2” button, until the “ 00:00” appear on the display
and the “ 00” flashing.(F1)
2. Press the “TUN./SKIP” ( UP or DOWN) button to adjust the you desired hour.
3. Press the “ALARM 1” or “ALARM 2” button again to confirm. and the MINUTE digit flashing (F2)
4. Press the “TUN./SKIP” ( UP or DOWN) button to adjust the you desired minute.
5. Press the “ALARM 1” or “ALARM 2” button again to confirm. and the “AL bu” appear on the display.
6. Press the “TUN./SKIP” ( UP or DOWN) button to select the you desired source
TUNER/CD/USB/BUZZER.
7 Press the “ALARM 1” or “ALARM 2” button again to confirm.
Alarm Disable
1. press “ALARM 1” or “ALARM 2” button or standby button to turn off the alarm sounds.
2. Or press the SNOOZE key to temporary stop the alarm, the alarm will turn on 6 minutes later.
TO SET SLEEP FUNCTION
1. If you want to fall asleep to music, press SLEEP button on the remote.
2. You may adjust the Radio or CD player's sleep function to play from 90, 80, 70 up to 10
---1 minutes of music before shutting itself off automatically.

RADIO OPERATION
Press the FUNCTION button to the TUNER mode on the unit (or remote), you can selected the Radio
operation.
1. Press the STOP/BAND button to select AM or FM frequency range appearing on the display.
2. Fully pull out the FM-wire antenna !!
3. Select the desired wave band range with the TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button.
BAND SELECT
To tune for weak stations, use manual tuning by pressing TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button
continuously until you read the correct frequency or the reception at its best.
MONO/ STEREO SELECT
You can use only FM mode.
1. When you want to select FM stereo station, press the PLAY/PAUSE/MONO/STEREO button .
When you receive a FM stereo station the " " indicator will appear on the display, you can
receive FM stereo programme.
2. When you press the MONO/STEREO button again, the FM STEREO indicator will turn off & switch to
MONO FM status.
Automatic Tuning
1. Press the TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button for a second or more, then release the
button. The tuner will automatically for the first station of sufficient signal strength.
2. Repeat above procedure if you wish to select another station.
Programming preset stations
You can also preset stations of your choice and store up to 20 AM and 20 FM stations in its memory. To
store your selected broadcasting stations:
1. Press the STOP/BAND button on the unit (or remote) to toggle between AM and FM to make your
selection.
2. Tune to the required station.
3. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE button.
4. Press the FOLDER+/+10/MEMORY+(UP or DOWN) button for your desired station number.
5. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE again to confirm your selection.
6. To program more stations into memory, repeat the above steps 2 to 5.
7. To change the stored preset stations, repeat the above steps 2 to 5.
Notes:
1. Storing a new station into a preset location will erase the previously stored station in that location.
2. Power off / failure or power cord disconnection will clear the memory of all preset
stations. Perform the stations presetting procedures again to store the stations.
Selecting the Preset Stations
1. Press the STOP/BAND button to select the desired band.
2. Press FOLDER+/+10/MEMORY+(UP or DOWN) button to select the desired preset
station number.
3. The numeric location of that preset station is displayed along with the corresponding frequency.

LISTENING TO COMPACT DISC (CD/MP3)
1. When you want to playback CD / Mp3, Press the FUNCTION button on the unit to select the CD
mode, This unit begin selecting and shifting to the CD / MP3 mode automatically .
2. Press the CD DOOR OPEN / CLOSE button on the unit first, then the CD door will open
automatically.(F3)
3. Insert the CD/MP3 disc into the CD compartment, press the CD DOOR OPEN / CLOSE button
again, then the CD door will close automatically.
NOTE: (1) This unit can play CD, CD-R, CD-RW and MP3 discs.
(2) If no disc or can`t read TOC, NO DISC will be displayed.(F4)
Playing The Entire CD/MP3
1. Playback will be start by pressing PLAY/PAUSE/STEREY/MONO. Playback starts with
the first track , The display shows the current track number and its elapsed time.
2. To interrupt playback, press PLAY/PAUSE/STEREY/MONO button. The indicator will flash.
3. To resume playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/STEREY/MONO again.
4. To stop playback, press the STOP/BAND button.
LISTEN TO THE DESIRED TRACK
- CD
1. Press the SKIP/TUNING ( UP or DOWN ) button on the unit (or remote), until the
required track number appears on the display, then press the PLAY button start playing.(F5)
2. During play, press the SKIP/TUNING (UP or DOWN) button, skip to the next track (or head of the
current track).
3. To interrupt playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/STEREO/MONO button, “ ” is shown on the
display.(F7，F8)
4. To stop playback, press the STOP/BAND button.
- MP3
1. Press the FOLDER+/+1/MEM+ (UP or DOWN) button, the album number will be changed;
Press the SKIP/TUNING (UP or DOWN) button, the track number will be changed.
2. When the desired track is displayed press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing the track.

REPEAT PLAY
- CD
1. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE button once, REPEAT 1 is displayed. CD will play the current
track repeatedly.(F9)
2. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE button twice, REPEAT ALL is displayed. CD will play all tracks
repeatedly.(F10)
3. To cancel Repeat function, press the MEMORY/P-MODE button, until the “REPEAT ALL”
indicator disappear on the LCD display.
- MP3
1. Press the REPEAT button once on the remote, then “REPEAT 1” is displayed. The current track will
be played repeatedly.(F11)
2. Press the REPEAT button twice, then “REPEAT FOLDER” is displayed. Repeat the current play
folder.(F12)
3. Press the REPEAT button third, “REPEAT ALL” is displayed. CD plays all tracks repeatedly.(F13)
4. To cancel Repeat function, press the MEMORY/P-MODE button, until the “REPEAT ALL”
indicator disappear on the LCD display.
RANDOM PLAY
1. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE button in play mode till the “RANDOM ” shows on the display,
the tracks will be played in random order from next track automatically, until all tracks are
played over and then stop.(F14, F15)
2. To cancel random function, press the MEMORY/P-MODE button until the “RANDOM ” indicator
disappear on LCD display.

INTRO PLAY
1. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE button in play mode till the “INTRO” shows on the display,
the intro play will start from next track (the first 10 seconds of music of each track),
until all tracks are played over and then stop.(F16, F17)
2. To cancel intro function, press the MEMORY/P-MODE button until the “INTRO” indicator
disappear on LCD display.
PROGRAM MODE
Used to listen to the songs selected. User can program up to CD 20 tracks /MP3 99 tracks
favorite songs.
Program mode is activated while in stop mode.
1. How to program
1. In stop mode, press the MEMORY/P-MODE button, the “MEMORY” and the “P01 001”
indicator will be on.(F18, F19)
2. Press the CD SKIP/TUNING FORWARD button to select the first desired track to be programmed.
3. Press the MEMORY/P-MODE button to enter. The display changes to show P02.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to store other desired tracks until all tracks are programmed.
2. PROGRAM PLAY
After programming songs, Press the PLAY/PAUSE/STEREO/MONO button to start playback
from the first programmed track the songs as you programmed. (F20, F21)
Press the STOP button to stop program playback.
3. CANCEL PROGRAM
A program is erased if you:
press MEMORY/P-MODE button, then STOP/BAND button in stop mode. or switch the unit
OFF. or opening the CD door.
Note: In setting a new program, the existing one will be cleared.

LISTENING TO USB FLASH DISK DEVICE
1. Press the FUNCTION button to select the USB function.
2. Connect the USB Flash Disk Device into the USB PORT.
3. If the USB is readable, the display will show USB and The total number of tracks after several
seconds.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/STEREO/MONO button to start playback.(F22)
5. Press the STOP button to stop playing. The display will show total number of tracks.(F23)
6. You may proceed repeat play (repeat-1/repeat-folder/repeat-all)/program/program play
/random play/intro play/skip up and down operation as the same described in above
“LISTENING TO COMPACT DISC (CD/MP3) ”.
MUTE SETTING
1. When you press the MUTE button once, the “MUTE” will flash & the
audio output will be temporary terminate.(F24)
2. Press MUTE button again, the audio output will return to normal.
MEMORY BACK-UP
To insert 1.5V x 3, UM-4, AAA or equivalent batteries in the battery compartment of the unit. It is
used to back-up the memory of the main CPU.
RESEAT FUNCTION
Press and hold the “MEMORY/P-MODE” button more than 1 second to reseat the unit.

COMPACT DISC
1. Always use a compact discs bearing the mark as shown.
2. Notes on handling discs
Removing the disc from its storage case and loading it.
* Do not touch the reflective recorded surface.
* Do not stick paper or write anything on the surface.
* Do not bend the disc.
3. Storage
* Store the disc in its case.
* Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high temperatures, high humidity or dusty places.
4. Cleaning a disc
* Should the disc become soiled, wipe off dust, dirt and fingerprints with a soft cloth.
* The disc should be cleaned from the centre to the edge.
* Never use benzene, thinners, record cleaner fluid or anti static spray.
* Be sure to close the CD door so the lens is not contaminated by dust.
* Do not touch the lens.
