‚Keep this manual handy as a reference for operating procedures and precautions. Do not allow persons
who have not read t hrough t his m anual t o use this unit .
‚“ CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT”
This product contains a laser diode of higher class than 1. Laser beams from the optical pickup are
dangerous t o the eyes. To ensure cont inued safet y, do not r em ove any covers or at tem pt t o gain access
to t he inside of the p roduct. Refer all servicing to qualified per sonnel.
‚Do not allow t his unit t o com e into cont act with liquids. Elect rical shock could result . Also, dam age to this
unit , sm oke, and overheat ing could result from contact with liquids or dust. Protect this unit from
m oist ure.
‚Make sure t hat foreign obj ects do not get inside the unit; t hey m ay cause m alfunctions, or create safety
hazards such as electrical shock or laser beam exposure.
‚The beginning of operation is t he moment of the unit installat ion. Before use t he device in winter it is
recom m ended to heat up t he passenger com part m ent dur ing 20 seconds or t o t he operat ion tem per at ure.
‚Using the unit with the temperature that goes beyond the operation temperature greatly decreases the
operation resource of the screen and ot her com ponent s of t he unit and can result in an outage.
‚Disconnect t he v ehicle’s negat ive bat tery t erm inal while m ount ing and connect ing t he unit .
‚The unit is designed for negative term inal of the battery, which is connected to the vehicle metal. Please
ensure it before installat ion.
‚When replacing the fuse, be sure to use one with an ident ical amperage rating. Using a fuse wit h a higher
am perage rat ing m ay cause serious dam age t o t he unit .
‚Do not allow the speaker wires to be shorted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it may
over load or burn out the power amplifier.
‚Make sure you disconnect t he power supply and aer ial if you will not be using the system for a long period
or du ring a t hunderst orm .
‚Make sure you disconnect t he power supply if the system appears t o be working incorrect ly, is m aking an
unusual sound, has a strange smell, has smoke emitting from it or liquids have got inside it. Let a
qualified t echnician check t he system .
‚Always keep t he volume low enough so t hat you can hear sounds from out side t he vehicle.
‚Should this product fail t o operate properly, contact your dealer or nearest service center.

I n st a llat ion / Con n ect ion s
‚Choose the m ount ing locat ion where t he unit will not int erfere wit h the normal driving function of t he
dr iver.
‚Before finally installing t he unit, connect t he wiring and make sure that the unit works pr operly.
‚Consult wit h your nearest dealer if installat ion requires the drilling of holes or other m odifications of the
vehicle.
‚Install the unit where it does not get in the driver's way and cannot injure the passenger if there is a
sudden stop, like an em ergency st op.
‚I f installat ion angle exceeds 30° fr om horizontal, t he unit m ay not per for m pr operly.
‚Avoid installing the unit where it would be subject to high tem perat ure, such as from direct sunlight , or
from h ot air , fr om t he heat er, or w her e it w ould be subj ect t o d ust , dir t or ex cessiv e v ibrat ion .
M oun t in g
‚Rem ove t he m ounting sleeve ( 1) from t he unit .
‚Slide the m ount ing sleeve into t he 2- DI N
inst allat ion slot prov ided for t he car radio.
‚At t ach t he m ount ing sleeve by bending the
installation brackets towards the outside with a
screwdriver. The sleeve is properly inst alled
when it can no longer be pulled out, yet also
keeps from sliding int o t he installat ion slot .
‚Connect the cable set and the antenna t o the
vehicle’s electronics corresponding to t he
connection table (see farther).
‚At tach t he m ount ing racks t o t he sides of the
un it , and fix t h em w it h t he scr ew s as in ( 2 ) .
‚I nsert the unit into the m ount ing sleeve unt il t he
st op ( 3) . The un it t hen audibly snaps int o t he
sleeve.
‚Fa st en t he four screws ( 4 ) t o fix t h e unit t o t he m ount in g sleeve.

‚Place the trim ring (5) over the unit and the installation is completed. (Some vehicles may not need a
t rim r ing) .
‚The device is distinguished by a high degree of output . During operation, t his result s in a st rong heat
generat ion. Therefore no cables or ot her parts m ay adj oin the device. I f their insulat ion m elts, there is
the risk of a short circuit or fire.
‚Removing: Turn off the device. Remove the front panel and place it into the protective case. Clamp off
the negat ive pole of t he vehicle battery for t he durat ion of t he disassem bly. First carefully rem ove the
trim r ing ( 5) of t he unit, by slight ly pulling it upwards and t hen towards you. Now unscrew the four
screw s as show n in ( 4 ) . Rem ove carefully t he u nit fr om t he m ount ing sleeve and disconnect all w ires.
Make sure t hat no vehicle cable can cause a shor t circuit after t he device has been unplugged.
D et a ch able con t r ol p an e l
‚To attach the front panel, insert the upper side of the panel first and make sure the connection pins slide
int o the connect ion slots and then press the lower part of t he panel to the unit until hear a click.
‚Slant t he fron t panel down. Press the release lock ( in t he bot t om of t he front panel) upward t o release the
front panel, and then take out the front panel by pulling it downwards and then towards you from the
bottom. Once the front panel is removed, the back plate will close automatically after a few seconds and
the panel stat us indicat or will blink.
N ot e : The control panel can easily be damaged by shocks. After rem oving it, place it in a protective case and
be careful not t o drop it or subj ect it to st rong shocks. The rear connect or that connect s t he m ain unit and
the cont rol panel is an extrem ely important part . Be careful not to dam age it by pressing on it wit h
fingernails, pens, screwdrivers, etc.
N ot e : I f the control panel is dirty, wipe off the dirt with soft, dry cloth only. And use a cotton swab soaked in
isop ropyl alcohol t o clean t he socket on t he back of t he cont rol panel.

The front panel of this unit can be st ored in t he included protect ive case when not in used and carried away
wh en y ou leave t he vehicle t o det er t heft.
Switch off t he pow er of the unit. Det ach the front panel, then put it t o t he protective case and t ake it with
you.

Using t h e I SO Con ne ct or
1. I f your car is equipped with t he I SO connector, then connect the I SO connectors
as illust r ated.
2. For connections without the ISO connect ors, check the wiring in the vehicle
car efu lly before connect ing, incorrect connect ion m ay cause ser ious dam age t o
this unit.
Cut t he connect or, connect the colored leads of the power cord to t he car battery as
shown in the colour code table below for speaker and power cable connections.

Power antenna wire is intended for power supply of the antenna and for rem ote control of an addit ional
am plifier .

The illum inat ion w ire shou ld be connect ed t o m ar ker light s of t he vehicle. The illum inat ion (backlight ) is
possible only when t he m arker light s are switched on.

Pa rk in g w ir e conn e ct ion
If Parking cable is connected to hand brake switch, the video display of the TFT m onitor will be controlled by
driving status, system setup and input video sources. When the car is moving ahead, if the video disc is
played, the screen shows “ATTENTION! ! You cannot use this function while driving” , and blank screen. The
above warning screen w ill p revent t he driver from wat ching im ages.

If the rear view video camera is connected, the unit automatically switches to camera picture during reverse
dr iv ing. The un it r et ur ns t o t he or iginal w ork m ode aft er t he reverse d riv ing is done.

1. Press the catch and at t he sam e t im e pull out the bat tery t ray ( pic. 1).
2. I nsert t he 1 lit hium bat t ery, t ype CR2025 ( 3V) bat tery wit h t he stam ped
( + ) m ark facing upwar d. I nsert the battery t ray int o t he rem ote cont roller
( p ic. 2 ) .
W arning:
‚St ore t he bat t ery where children cannot reach. If a child accident ally swallows the battery, consult a
doct or im m ediat ely.
‚Do not recharge, short , disassem ble or heat the battery or disp ose it in a fire.
‚Do not expose or bring int o cont act t he bat tery wit h ot her m etallic m at erials. Doing t his m ay cause t he
bat tery t o give off heat, cr ack or star t a fire.
‚When throwing away or saving the battery, wrap it in tape and insulate; otherwise, the battery may give
off heat , cr ack or star t a fir e.
‚Please direct t he Rem ot e cont roller t o t he I R sensor of t he front panel.

Tou ch scr ee n
Due t o the touch screen, you can fulfill m ost funct ions not only by pressing but t ons but also by touching t he
options you need.
Tu rning t h e un it on / of f
Press any button (except EJECT button on the RC) t o switch t he unit on. Press and hold POWER but t on on the
panel or PWR but t on on t he RC t o t urn off t he power .
Re se t t h e u nit
Operat ing the unit for the first t im e or aft er replacing the car bat t ery, you m ust reset t he unit . Press reset
butt on on the unit with a pointed object ( such as a ballpoint pen) t o set t he unit t o init ial stat e.
N ot e : When som e er ror s occur on t he display, you can also p ress reset but t on t o resum e to norm al, and it
will erase t he clock set ting and som e m em or ized fu nct ions.
Volum e control
Press VOL+ / VOL- but t ons on t he RC or on t he unit to increase/ decrease t he sound level.

Press SEL button to open the following m enu:
1. Set t ing list . Tou ch a set t ing t o select it s adj ust m ent .
2. Ad justm ent but ton s. Touch t hem t o adj ust corresponding set t ing.
3. Ad ju st m ent slide bar. Touch t o adj ust a set t in g.
4. Equalizer m ode select ion but t on. Touch t o go t o t he m ode list .
You can also adjust Equalizer, Bass, Treble, Balance and Fader by
pr essing t he cursor buttons on t he RC.
M ut e fun ct ion
Press MUTE but t on on t he RC or PWR but t on on t he unit t o t urn off t he sound. Press t he butt on again or
adj ust volum e t o resum e t he sound output.

‚Repeatedly press MODE button on the RC or on the panel to select a
m ode: Radio = > Disc = > USB = > SD = > TV = > AV- in.
‚In any mode touch right top corner of the screen or press MENU
butt on t o display t he Main menu as follows:

N ot e : The Disc, USB and SD m odes are only available when a disc, USB or
SD/ MMC card is insert ed int o the unit .

AV j ack is int ended t o receive audio and video signals by connecting t o external device.
Subw oofer
Connect a subwoofer t o t his unit using the Subwoofer output of this unit. For subwoofer operat ion an external
am plifier is requir ed.
Dual zone function
DUAL - dual zone funct ion enabling user t o listen t o radio or watch TV in t he front zone, and at the sam e t im e
play audio or v ideo from disc, USB or m em or y card.
For Dual zone en ext ernal m onitor with is required having it s own acoust ic syst em and possibility of volum e
adj ust m ent .

When you select SETTI NG m ode or press SETUP but t on on t he RC,
the m enu will be displayed, in which you can t ouch any item t o
per for m operat ions as follow s:
1. Menu page list . Touch any page icon t o go t o corresponding m enu
page.
2. Set t ing list . Tou ch a set t ing t o select it s adj ust m ent .
3. Adj u stm ent bu t ton s.
4. Option selection but ton. Touch t o go to opt ion list for
corresponding setting. Touch an option to select it.
5. Subpage number.
6. Subpage select ion button. Touch t o switch between subpages of
each set t ing list .
You can also navigat e in the menu by pressing cursor but tons on t he RC and confirm your selection by
pressing ENTER but t on on t he RC.
Sound page
‚EQ: Select Flat, Classic, Pop, Rock or User equalizer m ode.
‚Bass: Adj ust t he low- fr equency lev el.
‚Treble: Adjust the high-frequency level.
‚Balance: Adj ust the balance between left and right channels.
‚Fader : Ad j ust t he balan ce bet w een fr ont an d left channels.
‚Volum e: Adj ust t he sound v olum e lev el.
‚Beep: Select ALL (beep is heard at any butt on pressing), 2ND (beep is heard when a but ton is pressed
and held) or OFF ( no beep).
‚Loud: Selecting loudness ON will em phasize the low frequency output .
‚Subwoofer: set t he subw oofer on or off.
Display page
‚Screen: Select 16: 9, 4: 3 or FULL screen m odes.

‚Backlight : select LOW, MI D or HI GH display backlight level.
RDS a nd Radio page
‚St ereo: Select ON ( stereo r ecept ion m ode) or OFF ( m on o recept ion) . When t he r eceiv ed st er eo sign al is
weak, switch t o m ono m ode t o im prove t he signal. The function is available only in FM bands.
‚Local: Select ON ( only local st at ion r ecep tion) or OFF ( local and dist ant st at ion recept ion) . The funct ion is
available only in FM bands.
‚TA volum e: Adj ust level of TA volum e.
‚Retune: Long/Short. RETUNE refers to the time period the unit allows for radio scan when reception is
interrupted. “Short” represents a time period of 30 seconds and “Long” represents a time period of 90
seconds.
‚PI : Mut e/ Sound. PI sound refers t o t he recept ion noise when the AF funct ion t ries t o scan alt ernat ive
fr equency.
‚REG: REG ON (the receiver accepts regional variants of t he t uned station wit h REG icon turned on) , and
REG OFF ( t he receiv er ign or es r egional var ian t s) .
‚Mask: DPI / ALL. During MASK DPI mode, the unit will mask only the AF which has different PI, this is the
default mode; during MASK ALL m ode, the unit will m ask the AF which has different PI and no RDS signal
wit h high field strengt h.
‚EON TA: DX/ Local. I f you want t o receive inform at ion from local stations only, select EON TA Local m ode.
Ot herwise, select EON TA DX m ode.
‚TA: Seek/Alarm. In TA SEEK mode, the unit will seek for traffic announcement program when TA is
pressed; in TA ALARM m ode, no TA/ TP is displayed and t he alarm is set off.
Gener al page
‚Dual: Select ON or OFF the Dual zone funct ion.
‚Key: Use butt ons at CURRENT (but t ons perform operat ions for the current m ode of t he front zone) or
DVD ( buttons perform DVD funct ions). This function is available only if ON is selected for DUAL.
‚Tilt angle: Select t he m on it or t ilt ang le.
‚Tilt I N/ OUT: Select t he m onitor in/ out posit ion.
‚Clock display: Select ON ( clock is displayed) or OFF (clock is not displayed) .
‚Clock hour: select 12-hour or 24-hour clock display mode.

‚Clock set ting: A touchable keyboar d is displayed. I nput t he current t ime and t ouch OK to confirm .
DVD page
‚OSD lang: Select on- screen d isplay langu age.
‚Su bt it le lang: Select a DVD subt it le lang uage.
‚Audio lang: select a language of t he DVD audio.
‚DVD m enu lang: Select a language of t he DVD m enu .
‚Password: I n order t o make the Rating feature work, t he password m ode must be turned on. If you want
to set the ratings limit, you will need to enter the default password, which is 0000, then press ENTER to
confirm . To change the password, ent er t he Password change submenu. I f you change t he password, the
default password 0000 will be void.
‚Rat ing: The Rating cont rol level is for parent s t o cont rol playing content and protect your children from
violence and erot ic. The disc, t he lev el of wh ich is higher t han t he set t ing level can not be played.
‚TV shape: Select 4:3/PS (the wide-screen image shows on the full screen, but some part is cut off,
4:3/LB (the wide-screen image shows and black bars appear on the top and bottom of screen, Wide
( wide- screen im age is show n).
‚NTSC/ PAL: Select color system NTSC or PAL.
‚Default : Reset t o the init ial fact ory set t ings.
Syst e m in fo p age
I n t his m enu you can see the current version information. Besides, calibration funct ion is available:
Calib rat ion: “ Carefully press and hold st ylus on the cent er of the tar get longer t han 1 second” is displayed.
Touch and hold the red cross in each position unt il it m oves to a different posit ion. After repeat ing it 4 t im es,
the calibration of the screen is com plete. The calibrat ion procedure is useful when some m alfunction occur
with the t ouch screen and it needs adj ustment .

When the unit is swit ched t o Radio mode, the below touchable
user interface will be displayed on the display:
1. PTY b ut t on. Tou ch t o enable/ d isab le PTY funct ion. I n t he PTY
list , t ouch a program t ype t o star t its search.
2. TA but ton. Touch to enable/ disable TA funct ion.
3. AF but ton. Touch t o enable/ disable AF funct ion.
4. ST but t on. Touch t o select stereo/ m ono reception m ode.
5. Current band and frequency.
6. Preset st ation but ton. Touch to select t he station. Touch and
hold t o save the current frequency under the preset num ber.
7. LOC but t on. Touch to select local/ distant station recept ion.
8. Mut e button; t ouch to swit ch sound on/ off.
9. Volume dow n button. Touch t o decrease volum e.
10. Volum e level.
11. Volum e up but ton. Touch t o increase volum e.
12. BAND but t on. Touch t o select bands.
13. AS/ PS butt on. Touch t o scan all saved st at ions in current band. Touch and hold t o find and save 6
available stations in current band.
14. ;butt on. Touch for automatic search of t he nearest station downwards.
15. 9button. Touch repeat edly to change frequency step by st ep downwards.
16. :button. Touch repeat edly t o change frequency st ep by st ep upwar ds.
17. <butt on. Touch for automatic search of t he nearest station upwards.
Ba nd sele ct io n
Press BAND/ RDM button on t he RC t o sw it ch to the bands in t he following order : FM1 - FM2 - FM3 - MW1 -
MW2.

‚Manual t uning: press TUN/ TRK ;/<buttons on t he panel or SEEK-/ ;and SEEK+ / <on t he RC and hold
for 2 seconds t o ent er the manual tuning mode. Press these but tons repeatedly t o select a frequency
downward or upward st ep by st ep.
‚Aut om at ic t uning: press TUN/ TRK ;/<buttons on the panel or SEEK-/;and SEEK+ / <on t he RC, t he
autom at ic search will st ar t. I t w ill play w hen fin ds t he st at ion.
Pr ogr am m ing tu ne r stat ions
There are 6 numbered preset buttons on t he RC, with which you can st ore and recall stat ions for each band
( 18 FM, 12 MW) . Select a stat ion, t hen press and hold a preset butt on. The stat ion w ill be saved in t he
m em ory under the cor responding num ber. To recall a st ored st at ion, press t he corresponding preset but ton.
Au to m em ory stor e/ Pr eset sca n
‚Auto store: Select a band, press and hold P.SCN/RPT button on the RC to enter auto store mode. The
radio w ill autom at ically store 6 stations to the 6 preset m em ories of t he current band. To st op auto store,
pr ess t he button again.
N ot e : Dur ing auto st at ion preset, t he unit will search and store stat ions with t he st rong signal first, and then
weak er signal st at ions unt il t he m em or ies ar e fu ll.
‚Preset scan: Select a band, press P.SCN/ RPT but ton on the RC to scan all preset stations in the m emories
of t he current band. To stop preset scan, press t he button again.
RDS background
RDS service availability varies w it h areas. Please understand if RDS service is not available in you area, t he
follow ing service is not available.
AF ( Alt er n at ive fr e qu e ncies) f un ct ion
Briefly press AF butt on on t he RC to enab le AF funct ion. When t he radio signal st rengt h is poor, enabling t he
AF function will allow t he unit t o autom at ically search anot her st at ion wit h t he same PI (Program
I dent ification) as t he current stat ion but with st ronger signal strength.
N ot e : AF indicator on t he display w ill flash until RDS inform at ion is received. I f RDS service is not available in
your area, t urn off t he AF m ode.
