1. Referring to the compatibility list of makes and models, select the
correct charging-cable adapter tip for your notebook.
Be aware that notebook manufacturers frequently change the tip
design so you may find that the recommended adapter tip doesn’t fit.
If so, or your notebook make isn’t listed, try all the adapter tips: first
make sure your notebook is switched o and the plug is disconnected
from the mains; following that, test each of the adapter tips in turn by
plugging them into your notebook’s power socket.
The adapter tip should insert into the socket with minimal eort and
remain securely in place.
2. If the integrated power tip is unsuitable for your notebook, connect
the appropriate adapter tip to the power adapter’s charging cable.
3. Set the required output voltage using the slider on the power
adapter. Please refer to the notebook label, the manual or the original
power adapter for the correct voltage level.
NEVER select a higher voltage level. Furthermore, make sure the
notebook’s power requirements do not exceed the maximum voltage
output of the power adapter (90 Watts). If you cannot set the required
voltage level precisely, set the next lowest voltage-output level.
4. Now plug the charging cable, with the correct adapter tip fitted, into
the notebook’s power socket.
5. Using the power cable, plug the power adapter into an AC outlet
(100-240V, 50/60Hz). The LED on the power adapter will glow and the
notebook will be powered.

des Netzteils, sofern der integrierte Stecker nicht für Ihr Notebook
geeignet ist.
3. Stellen Sie mit dem Schieberegler am Netzteil die benötigte
Ausgangsspannung ein. Diese entnehmen Sie dem Notebook-
Label, dessen Bedienungsanleitung oder dem Originalnetzteil.
Bitte wählen Sie keinesfalls eine zu hohe Spannung und stellen Sie
sicher, dass die benötigte Leistung des Notebooks die maximale
Ausgangsleistung des Netzteils von 90 Watt nicht übersteigt. Sollte
sich die nötige Spannung nicht exakt einstellen lassen, wählen Sie
den nächst-niedrigeren Wert.
4. Stecken Sie das Ladekabel mit dem passenden Stecker in die
Ladebuchse des Notebooks.
5. Verbinden Sie das Netzteil über das Netzkabel mit einer
Steckdose (100-240 V, 50/60 Hz). Die LED am Netzteil beginnt zu
leuchten, das Notebook wird mit Strom versorgt.

This product is intended to be used as an AC adapter
for compatible notebooks and is for indoor home/oce
use only. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not
disassemble it and stop using it immediately if damaged.

damage to this product or injuries caused due to careless or
improper use or for purposes for which it is not intended.
SAFETY INFORMATION
The device is still mains powered even if it is switched o.
To ensure it is fully disconnected from the power outlet and
mains supply, unplug the device. The power outlet should
be easily accessible and located close to the device so
the cable does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not expose
the device to any liquids as this can cause defects, electric
shocks or fire. Do not place vessels containing liquids (vases
or similar) or naked flames (candles or similar) on top of
or next to the device. Leave a 2cm gap around all sides of
the device to ensure sucient ventilation. Do not cover the
openings with objects or textiles (blankets or similar) and do
not insert any objects into the openings. Only use the device
where the ambient temperature is between 0 and 35°C. The
device label is on the back/base.
PLEASE NOTE:
This power adapter supports notebooks with a voltage
requirement of 15 to 19.5 Volts. Do not use this power
adapter with notebooks whose voltage requirement is above
or below this voltage range. Never set a higher voltage
on the power adapter than is actually required as this may
damage the power adapter and the notebook. If you cannot

set the required voltage level precisely, if possible set the next
lowest voltage output level. Please make sure that the notebook’s
power requirements do not exceed the maximum voltage output
of the power adapter (90 Watts).
Using an incorrect charging-cable adapter tip may lead to it
heating up considerably during use. If this happens, unplug it and
try a dierent adapter tip. The power adapter may become warm
with extended use and if a lot of power is being drawn from it.
Make sure that the device does not touch heat-sensitive materials,
and never cover the power adapter while in use so as to ensure
optimum heat dissipation. Unplug the power adapter from the AC
outlet if you do not intend using it for a while. When connecting to
some notebook models, for technical reasons the notification may
be displayed that the power adapter is not suitable for powering
the notebook. This is often just to highlight that you are not using
the notebook manufacturer’s power adapter. In the majority of
cases, it is fine to use the PECOS Power Adapter.
DISPOSAL
This symbol means that you must not dispose of this product
together with household waste. Always store and dispose of
old equipment or batteries correctly as they can harm the
environment or cause injury because they may contain hazardous
substances; failure to do so may result in fines. In the EU, you can
dispose of your old equipment or batteries free of charge at an
ocial recycling point: you are required to do so by law, it ensures
your device or battery is recycled and you do your bit to help
protect the environment. For information please contact your local
authority, civic amenity site or retailer. Major EU retailers
(electronics retailers with a sales area of ≥ 400m²) take back small
appliances (all dimensions < 25cm) free of charge; others do so
only if you purchase products of a similar value. If possible,
remove any batteries.

hoher Leistungsabgabe erwärmen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das
Gerät nicht mit wärmeempfindlichen Materialien in Berührung
kommt, und verdecken Sie das Netzteil im Betrieb nicht, damit
eine zuverlässige Wärmeabfuhr gewährleistet ist. Trennen Sie das
Netzteil bei längerem Nichtgebrauch von der Steckdose.
Beim Anschluss an einige Notebook-Modelle kann es aus
technischen Gründen zur Anzeige der Meldung kommen, dass

de bureau. Il ne demande pas d’entretien. Ne pas l’ouvrir et ne
pas l’utiliser s’il est abîmé. La société Jöllenbeck GmbH décline
toute responsabilité en cas de dégradations du produit ou de
blessures dues à une utilisation inconsidérée, incorrecte ou
contraire à la destination indiquée.
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Même lorsque l’appareil est éteint, une tension est présente à
l’intérieur ; l’appareil n’est coupé de l’alimentation électrique
qu’une fois la fiche secteur débranchée. La prise de courant doit
se trouver à proximité de l’appareil et être facile d’accès ; le câble
ne doit pas présenter de risque de trébuchement. Ne pas exposer
l’appareil à des liquides en raison du risque de dégradation,
d’électrocution ou d’incendie. Ne pas poser de récipients
contenant des liquides (vase, etc.) ni de flammes nues (bougies,
etc.) sur l’appareil ou bien à côté. Laisser un espace de 2 cm tout
autour de l’appareil pour une bonne ventilation ; ne pas couvrir les
orifices avec des objets ou des tissus (couverture, etc.) et ne rien
introduire à l’intérieur. N’utiliser qu’à une température comprise
entre 0 et 35 °C (climat tempéré). L’étiquette du produit se trouve

REMARQUE :
Ce bloc d’alimentation est compatible avec les ordinateurs
portables d’une tension d’alimentation comprise entre 15 et 19,5
V. Ne l’utilisez pas avec des ordinateurs portables nécessitant
une tension d’alimentation inférieure ou supérieure. Ne réglez
en aucun cas le bloc d’alimentation sur une tension supérieure

Si la fiche choisie n’est pas de la bonne forme, elle peut
devenir très chaude en cours d’utilisation. Dans ce cas,
débranchez la fiche et essayez-en une autre. Il arrive que le
bloc d’alimentation chaue en cas d’utilisation prolongée ou
de puissance dissipée élevée. Veillez à ce qu’il ne soit pas
en contact avec des matériaux sensibles à la chaleur et ne
couvrez pas le bloc d’alimentation en cours d’utilisation afin
de garantir une bonne évacuation de la chaleur. Débranchez
le bloc d’alimentation de la prise de courant lorsque vous
ne vous en servez pas de manière prolongée. Lors du
raccordement sur certains modèles d’ordinateur portable,
il est possible de voir s’acher un message indiquant que
le bloc d’alimentation n’est pas adapté à l’alimentation
électrique de l’appareil. Ce message est souvent
simplement destiné à souligner qu’il ne s’agit pas d’un
bloc d’alimentation fourni par le fabricant de l’ordinateur
portable. Dans la plupart des cas, vous pouvez toutefois
utiliser sans restriction votre bloc d’alimentation PECOS.

necessaria del portatile non superi la potenza d’uscita
massima di 90 Watt dell’alimentatore. Se il cavo di ricarica
non ha la forma corretta, potrebbe surriscaldarsi durante
l’uso. In tal caso scollegare il cavo e provare un’altra spina.
L’alimentatore può riscaldarsi dopo un uso prolungato e
un’alta erogazione di potenza. Accertarsi che i dispositivi
non vengano a contatto con materiali sensibili al calore
e non coprire l’alimentatore quando è in funzione, per
garantire una perfetta dissipazione di calore. Staccare
l’alimentatore dalla presa quando non viene utilizzato

che l’alimentatore non è adatto per l’alimentazione di

corrente. Spesso si tratta solo di un avvertimento che non viene
usato l’alimentatore del produttore del notebook. Nella maggior
parte dei casi l’utilizzo dell’alimentatore PECOS è tuttavia possibile
senza restrizioni.
SMALTIMENTO
Questo simbolo indica che il prodotto non deve essere
smaltito insieme ai rifiuti domestici. Lo stoccaggio/
smaltimento di apparecchiature vecchie o batterie/
accumulatori può provocare danni all’ambiente a causa di possibili
sostanze nocive per l’ambiente e/o la salute dell’uomo e
comportare sanzioni ai sensi della legislazione. La consegna in un
centro di raccolta uciale è gratuita e prescritta per legge,
garantisce un corretto smaltimento o riciclaggio/riutilizzo e

Este producto sirve como fuente de alimentación CA
para portátiles compatibles para ser usado en hogares
u oficinas y en espacios secos y cerrados. No necesita
mantenimiento. No abrir ni utilizar si presenta daños o
defectos. Jöllenbeck GmbH no asume la responsabilidad
por daños en el producto o lesiones corporales ocasionadas
por una utilización inadecuada o impropia, diferente de la
recomendada.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Aún después de haber apagado el equipo la tensión de red
continúa, y sólo quedará sin corriente eléctrica después de
sacar la clavija de la base de enchufe. La base de enchufe
tiene que estar cerca del equipo para no causar riesgo
de tropiezo. El dispositivo no puede entrar en contacto
con líquidos, esto podría causar defectos, electrocución o
incendios. No coloque objetos con líquidos (jarrones, etc.)
o cualquier fuego (velas, etc.) sobre o cerca de él. 2 cm
completos de distancia aseguran una ventilación adecuada;
no cubra las ranuras ni introduzca en ellas objetos o textiles
(mantas, etc.). Sólo utilizar de 0 a 35 °C (clima templado).

OBSERVACIÓN:
Este adaptador soporta portátiles con una tensión de
alimentación de 15 a 19,5 voltios. No utilizar el adaptador
para portátiles con un tipo de corriente de alimentación
que sea inferior o superior a la indicada. No ajustar el
adaptador a una tensión superior de la necesaria – De
lo contario podrían surgir anomalías y causar daños en

precisión la tensión necesaria, seleccione a ser posible el

del notebook no supere la potencia de salida máxima del
adaptador, es decir 90W. Si el módulo de conexión no tuviera la
forma adecuada, podría calentarse de forma anormal durante

intenta con otro de los conectores. El adaptador puede que se
caliente si su utiliza durante mucho tiempo y a alta potencia.
Asegúrate de que el aparato no entra en contacto con materiales
termosensibles y no cubras el adaptador cuando esté funcionando
para que la disipación de calor no se vea impedida. Si no lo
usas durante largos periodos de tiempo es mejor desconectarlo
de la electricidad. Al conectar en determinados modelos de
ordenadores portátiles puede aparecer el mensaje en pantalla
que la fuente de alimentación no es la apropiada como suministro
de corriente. En la mayoría de las ves es un aviso de que no
está usando la fuente de alimentación original del fabricante del
ordenador portátil. Sin embargo en la mayoría de las veces el uso
de la fuente de alimentación PECOS es ilimitado sin problemas.
RECICLAJE
Ese símbolo significa que el material no se ha de depositar
en contenedores de basura doméstica. El almacenamiento/
eliminación inadecuado de los equipos viejos o baterías/
acumuladores puede, debido posiblemente a que contiene
sustancias nocivas, causar daños al medio ambiente y/o a la salud
humana y dar lugar a las sanciones previstas en la legislación. La
entrega al punto limpio es legalmente obligatoria, no supone
coste alguno, garantiza la correcta eliminación o reciclaje/
reutilización y contribuye con la protección del medio ambiente.
Más información en el ayuntamiento, empresas de reciclado o
tiendas especializadas. Los grandes almacenes (con áreas de

venta de electrodomésticos ≥ 400 m²) aceptan la recogida
de pequeños aparatos (de medidas < 25 cm) sin coste

обслуживании. Не открывать и не использовать,

УКАЗАНИЯ ПО БЕЗОПАСНОСТИ
И после выключения устройства напряжение на
него продолжает подаваться; устройство полностью
отсоединено от сети питания только после вытягивания

сетевого штекера из розетки. Розетка для устройства должна
находиться вблизи от него и быть легко доступной. Кабели
должны располагаться так, чтобы за них нельзя было
зацепиться. На устройство не должна попадать жидкость, это
может привести к дефектам, ударам током или возгоранию.
Не располагать рядом или на нем сосуды с жидкостью (вазы
и т.п.) или открытым огнем (свечи и т.п.). Вокруг устройства
оставить зазор в 2см для достаточной вентиляции; отверстия
не закрывать предметами или текстильными изделиями
(покрывала и т.п.), ничего не вводить. Применять только
при температуре от 0 до 35°C (умеренный климат). Этикетка
изделия находится на тыльной или нижней стороне.
УКАЗАНИЕ:
Этот блок питания предназначен для ноутбуков с напряжением
питания от 15 до 19,5 вольт. Не используйте этот блок питания
для ноутбуков, напряжение питания которых не входит в
этот диапазон напряжения. Не устанавливайте на блоке
питания напряжение, которое превышает необходимое – в
противном случае это может привести к повреждению блока
питания и ноутбука. Если не получается выставить нужное
напряжение точно, по возможности выберите значение
чуть ниже. Oбеспечьте, чтобы нужная мощность ноутбука не
превышала максимальную выходную мощность блока питания
в 90 ватт. Если выбранный штекер зарядного кабеля имеет
неправильную форму, он во время эксплуатации может сильно
нагреться. В этом случае выньте его и попробуйте другой
штекер. Блок питания при продолжительной эксплуатации и
отдаче большой мощности может нагреваться. Обеспечьте,
чтобы устройство не соприкасалось с чувствительными к
теплу материалами, не накрывайте блок питания во время
эксплуатации, чтобы был обеспечен надежный теплоотвод.
