materialsanddesignedforyearsoftroublefreeusage,theC5200willbeanintegral
partofyourfitnessregimen.
BeforeusingyourC5200bike,werecommendthatyoufamiliarizeyourselfwiththis
Owner'sManual.Whetheryouareafirsttimeuserofanexercisebicycleora
seasoned"pro,"understandingthecorrectuseoftheequipmentwillenhanceyour

Beforeassemblingyourbike,makesurethatyouhavealltheaboveparts.The
followingstepsexplainhowtoassembleyourC5200uprightbike.Pleasereadevery
stepthoroughlyandfollowthedirectionscompletelytoensurecorrectassembly.
Important:Thepackagingforthisunitwasdesignedtoprotectitduringshipment.
Pleasestoretheoriginalpackaginginasafeplaceincaseyouneedto
shiptheunitinthefuture.
1.Takeoutthecycleframeandmakesureallpackingmaterialareremovedfromthe
unit.
2.Placetheuprightbikeonalevel,flatsurface.
3.SlipthePostCoverontotheUprightPost.(seeFig1)
4.Locatethe16pincableconnectorinsidetheUprightPostandinsertitintothe
socketofthebicycleframe.
Tightentheconnectorsecurelybyturningbothscrewspinsclockwise(seeFig.2).

5.Inserttheuprightpostintothecycleframe,usingsixboltsandwashers.(NOTE:
Usetwowavewashersoneachleftandrightsideandtwoflatwashersinthefront.)
Thentightentheboltssecurely.(seeFig3)

7.AttachtheFootPedalstotheCrankArmsofthebike.Becarefultoinstallthe
pedalsonthecorrectCrankArms.A"R"or"L"ontheFootPedalindicatesthe
correctside.Installthepedalmarked"R"ontherighthandCrankArm(asyou
standattherearofthebikefacingfront).Whenyouinstallthepedalmarked"L:"
onthelefthandedCrankArm,rotatethepedalcounterclockwisetotightensince
thepedalhaslefthandscrewthreads.Useanopen-endedwrenchtotightenthe
pedalssecurely(seeFig5)

therearorfrontcrossframe.RaiseorlowertheFloorLevelAdjustmenttosteady
yourbike.(seeFig6)TightentheFloorLevelAdjustmentbyturningit
counterclockwise.
Toadjusttheseatupordown,turntheHeightAdjustmentKnoblocatingontheSeat
Supportcounterclockwisethenpullout,andadjusttheseatheighttoyourdesired
position.(SeeFig.7)Then,releasethisknobandturnitclockwiseintopositionto

RegularcleaningisrecommendedtokeepyourcycleC5200atpeakperformance.
Beforeyourworkout,useadryclothtocleanthesurfaceoftheelectronicspackage.
NOTE:NEVERPOURLIQUIDSONTHEELECTRONICSPACKAGE.
Tocleantheplasticparts,useamilddetergentandmakesuretheunitiscompletely
drybeforeoperating.
Itisrecommendedthatyoukeepallliquidsawayfromtheunitduringoperation.
Spillageofliquidsontoorintothemachinewillvoidthewarranty.
Thedurationofyourexercisesessionisdependentonyourfitnesslevel.Ingeneral,
itisrecommendedthatyoumaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforatleast
10minutestorealizeanaerobicbenefit.Asyourfitnesslevelincreases,youwillbe
abletomaintainyourheartrateinthetrainingzoneforlongerperiods:usually
between20and30minutes.
Whenstartingyourworkout,usethefirstseveralminutestowarmup,thenslowly
increaseyourworkloadtobringyourheartrateintoyourspecifictrainingzone.Atthe
endofyourworkout,graduallydecreaseyourworkload,thenexerciselightlyasa
"cooldown".
Aerobicexercises,toachievethegreatestbenefits,shouldbeperformed3-5times
aweek.Itisimportanttoallowsufficienttime,atleast24hours,foryourbodyto
recoverafterexercise.
