Expand or collapse the rubber funnel as needed (See Fig. 2). Press the POWER button to turn the
meter on. The LCD will flash “000” momentarily before showing “- - -“, which indicates the meter
is ready to take a new measurement. Once the display shows “- - -“ it can be placed under the
faucet/shower/spray nozzle to be tested (See Fig. 3). There is a 60 second timeframe to place the
meter under the flow from the time “- - -“ is first displayed. Placement of the meter under the flow
should be brisk and precise so that all the flow is quickly transferred into the meter. As the meter
fills with water, the display will start flashing “- - -“, which indicates the reading is in progress. As
soon as water reaches the meter’s upper sensor, the flashing stops, and the flow rate is calculated
and displayed for 90 seconds or until the POWER button is pressed to start a new reading (See
Fig. 4). Once the reading is displayed, the meter can be emptied at any time by tipping the meter
upside down to pour the water out through the top (See Fig. 5). If a reading needs to be restarted,
simply empty the meter and press the POWER button to begin a new reading cycle. PLEASE NOTE:
The most accurate measurements are made with the meter held steady during the fill process.
Turing The Meter ON/OFF
The meter will turn on any time the POWER button is pressed. The meter can be shut o by
pressing and holding the POWER button for 3 seconds or waiting for automatic shuto aer 90
seconds of inactivity.
Changing Measurement Units
The meter can be configured to display readings in either
gallons per minute (GPM), liters per minute (LPM), or
liters per hour (L/hr). To change the display units, the
user must first turn the meter o. Then press and hold the
POWER button until the display is blank except for the
units of measure, about 3-5 seconds (See Fig. 6). When
the display shows only the units of measure, release the
POWER button and the display will start flashing the currently selected unit of measure. Press the
POWER button to change this selection. Once the correct unit type is selected and flashing, wait
without pressing the button for 5 seconds. The meter will automatically save the new setting and
shut o.

Changing the Battery
The LCD will show an empty battery icon when it is time to change the battery. Remove the screw
cover (5) of Fig. 1 by rotating counter clockwise. A screwdriver may be required to loosen the
cover. Gently pry out the old battery with a small knife or tiny screwdriver as shown in (6) of Fig.
7, being careful not to damage the battery holder. Replace with a new CR2032 lithium coin cell
battery and replace the screw cover. Tighten the cover clockwise until the o-ring seal is slightly
compressed.

TROUBLESHOOTING & MAINTENANCE:
This meter measures the flow rate by measuring the time it takes to fill a portion of the meter’s
container. The rising water level is sensed by 3 electrodes inside the meter. The meter will only
function with fluids that conduct electricity, such as water. In the case of distilled water, the
conductivity may be too low for proper meter operation. All tap water will work very well with the
meter. Any substance that coats or covers the exposed metal on the electrodes will hinder their
ability to sense the water level. Care should be taken to rinse the inside of the meter with clean
tap water when contaminates are present in the measured flow. This will keep foreign material
from building up on the electrodes. If the electrodes need to be cleaned, they can be accessed by
unscrewing the black funnel assembly from the top of the meter and removing the diuser pad.
Complete rinsing will also keep the diuser pad from becoming clogged and therefore hindering
the flow of water into or out of the meter during operation. If foaming or bubbles are a significant
problem, a small drop of de-foaming agent (for carpet cleaners or spas) may be added to the
diuser pad prior to use.

WARRANTY, SERVICE, AND RETURNS:
One-Year Warranty
Innoquest, Inc. (“Innoquest”) warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. This warranty
extends only to the original purchaser and shall not apply to any product which, in Innoquest’s
sole opinion, has been subject to misuse, alteration, abuse, or abnormal conditions of operation
or handling. Innoquest’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the
product which is returned to Innoquest. Innoquest accepts no liability for whatever damages may
be caused by a malfunctioning product.
Repair & Service Policy
Products returned to Innoquest for repair or service must follow these guidelines: Return of the
product for warranty repair or service is the responsibility of the purchaser. Return of the product
for non-warranty repair or service, also the purchaser’s responsibility, will carry a charge of $35 for
assessing the product’s repair needs. Further work will not be completed without the purchaser’s
approval.
Return Procedure
All returns, regardless of reason, must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number.
The purchaser must call Innoquest at [phone] to obtain the RMA number prior to sending
any merchandise back. The RMA number must be displayed on the outside of the shipping
carton. All shipping charges will be paid by the purchaser. Innoquest is not responsible for
any package that is returned without a valid RMA number or for the loss of the package by any
shipping company.
Return for Refund Policy
We only accept returns of products purchased directly from Innoquest. Please return all other
products to the original place of purchase. A restocking fee (the greater of 15% of the purchase
price or $35) will apply to any returns sent back to Innoquest for a refund. For a refund, the
product must be in the original sealed packaging provided by Innoquest. If the unit was opened
but is completely functional and returned in good condition as determined by Innoquest, a
repackaging fee not to exceed $25 will be added to the restocking fee. No refund will be given for
damaged products.

Déployer ou replier l’entonnoir de caoutchouc au besoin (voir la fig.2) Appuyer sur le bouton
de mise en fonction pour activer l’appareil. L’écran ACL fait clignoter momentanément la valeur
«000» avant d’aicher «- - -», ce qui indique que le débitmètre est prêt à prendre une nouvelle
mesure. Lorsque l’écran aiche «- - -», l’appareil peut être placé sous le robinet/la douche/la
buse de pulvérisation à tester (voir la fig.3). À partir du moment où l’écran aiche «- - -» pour la
première fois, on doit placer l’appareil sous le flot avant que s’écoulent 60secondes. Le placement
du débitmètre sous le flot de liquide doit être rapide et précis de manière à ce que tout le flot
soit rapidement transféré dans l’appareil. À mesure que le débitmètre se remplit d’eau, l’écran
commence à faire clignoter le message «- - -» qui indique que le relevé est en cours. Lorsque l’eau
a atteint le capteur supérieur du débitmètre, l’écran cesse de clignoter et le débit est calculé et
aiché pendant 90secondes ou jusqu’à ce que le bouton de mise sous tension ait de nouveau été
enfoncé pour prendre un autre relevé (voir la fig.4). Lorsque le relevé s’est aiché, le débitmètre
peut être vidé à n’importe quel moment en le renversant pour laisser l’eau s’écouler par le dessus
de l’appareil (voir la fig.5). Si un relevé doit être repris, vider simplement l’appareil et appuyer de
nouveau sur le bouton de mise en fonction pour reprendre un cycle de mesure. VEUILLEZ NOTER:
Les mesures les plus précises sont prises lorsque l’appareil est tenu fermement pendant qu’il se
remplit.
Mise hors fonction du débitmètre
Le débitmètre est mis en fonction en appuyant sur le bouton de mise en fonction. Le débitmètre
peut être mis hors fonction en en appuyant sur le bouton de mise en fonction et en le tenant
pendant 3 secondes ou en attendant qu’il s’éteigne automatiquement après 90 secondes
d’inactivité.
Changement d’unités de mesure
Ce débitmètre peut être configuré pour aicher les
relevés en gallons par minute (gal/min), litres par minute
(l/min) ou litres par heure (l/h). Pour changer l’aichage
des unités, l’utilisateur doit d’abord mettre l’appareil
hors fonction. Appuyer ensuite sur le bouton de mise en
fonction et le tenir 3 à 5secondes jusqu’à l’aichage soit
vierge, à l’exception des unités de mesure (voir la fig.8).
Lorsque l’aichage ne montre que les unités de mesures, relâcher le bouton de mise en fonction
et l’écran fera clignoter l’unité de mesure actuellement sélectionnée. Appuyer de nouveau sur
le bouton de mise en fonction pour modifier cette sélection. Lorsque le bon type d’unité a été
sélectionné et qu’il clignote à l’écran, attendre 5secondes sans enfoncer le bouton. Le débitmètre
enregistrera automatiquement le nouveau réglage et se mettra hors fonction.

Remplacement de la Batterie
L’écran LCD va aicher l’icon de batterie quand on le doit remplacer. Enlever le couvercle vissé (5)
comme sur Figure 1 en rotant dans le sens opposé des aiguilles. Peut être vous aurez besoin d’un
tournevis pour relâcher le couvercle. Enlevez tout doucement la batterie usée en utilisant un petit
couteau ou un petit tournevis comme illustré sur (6) à la Figure 7, en faisant attention de ne pas
endommager le portebatteries. Remplacez-la avec une pièce de batterie au lithium CR2032
lithium et remplacez le couvercle vissé. Serrez le couvercle dans le sens des aiguilles jusqu’à ce
que la bague d’étanchéité en forme de ‘o’ ne soit légèrement pressée.

DÉPANNAGE ET ENTRETIEN:
Ce débitmètre mesure le débit en mesurant le temps qui s’écoule pour remplir une partie du
contenant de l’appareil. Le niveau d’eau montante est capté par trois électrodes à l’intérieur du
débitmètre. L’appareil ne fonctionnera qu’avec des liquides conducteurs, par exemple, l’eau. Dans
le cas de l’eau distillée, la conductivité peut être trop faible pour assurer le bon fonctionnement
du débitmètre. Toute eau du robinet devrait fonctionner très bien avec le débitmètre. Toute
substance qui couvre ou enduit le métal exposé des électrodes nuira à leur capacité de capter
le niveau d’eau. Prendre soin de rincer l’intérieur du débitmètre avec de l’eau propre du robinet
lorsque des contaminants sont présents dans le débit mesuré. Cela préviendra l’accumulation
de matière étrangère sur les électrodes. Si les électrodes doivent être nettoyées, on y accède
en dévissant l’assemblage de l’entonnoir noir du dessus du débitmètre et enlevant le tampon
du diuseur. Le rinçage complet préviendra aussi le tampon du diuseur de se bloquer et,
par conséquent, de nuire au flot d’eau dans le débitmètre et hors de celui-ci pendant son
fonctionnement. La formation de mousse ou de bulles est un problème important, une petite
goutte d’agent antimousse (pour les shampouineuses pour moquette ou les spas) peut être
ajoutée au tampon du diuseur avant usage.

Mediciones (continuadas)
Despliegue o pliegue el embudo de goma según sea necesario (ver Imagen 2). Presione el botón
de encendido para activar el medidor. En la pantalla parpadeará “000” momentáneamente y
luego se indicará “- - -” cuando el medidor esté listo para efectuar la medición. Cuando en pantalla
figure “- - -”, se puede colocar el medidor bajo el grifo, la ducha o la boquilla rociadora que se vaya
a medir (ver Imagen 3). Desde la aparición en pantalla de “- - -”, se tienen 60 segundos para colocar
el medidor bajo el caudal. El medidor debe colocarse bajo el caudal de manera veloz y precisa,
para que se transfiera rápidamente todo el caudal al medidor. Al irse llenando de agua el medidor,
comienza a parpadear en pantalla “- - -” para indicar que se está efectuando la medición. Al llegar
el agua al sensor superior del medidor, la pantalla deja de parpadear y se calcula el caudal, que
se presenta por 90 segundos o hasta que se presione el botón de encendido para hacer otra
medición (ver Imagen 4). Una vez que aparece la medición, se puede vaciar el medidor cuando
se desee, volteándolo para que el agua salga por la parte superior (ver Imagen 5). Para efectuar
otra medición, simplemente vacíe el medidor y presione el botón de encendido. PARA TENER EN
CUENTA: Las mediciones más precisas se obtienen cuando se deja quieto el medidor durante el
proceso de llenado.
Encendido y apagado del medidor
El medidor se activa al presionar el botón de encendido. Para apagar el medidor, se puede dejar
presionadoelbotóndeencendidopor3segundos.Elmedidortambiénseapagaautomáticamente
tras 90 segundos de inactividad.
Modicación de la unidad de medida
Se puede configurar el medidor para que presente las
mediciones en galones por minuto (GPM), litros por
minuto (LPM) o litros por hora (L/h). Para cambiar la
unidad de medida, el usuario primero debe apagar el
medidor. Luego hay que dejar presionado el botón de
encendido alrededor de 3-5 segundos hasta que en la
pantalla solo aparezcan las unidades de medida (ver
Imagen 8). Cuando solo aparezcan las unidades de medida, suelte el botón de encendido y
comenzará a parpadear la unidad de medida seleccionada. Presione el botón de encendido para
cambiar de unidad de medida. Una vez que quede parpadeando la unidad que usted desea,
deje de presionar el botón por 5 segundos. El medidor automáticamente guardará la nueva
configuración y se apagará.

Cambiar la batería
La pantalla LCD mostrará un icono de batería vacía cuando sea el momento de cambiar la
batería. Retire la cubierta del tornillo (5) de la imagen 5 girando en sentido antihorario. Puede
ser necesario un destornillador para aflojar la cubierta. Saque suavemente la batería vieja con
un cuchillo pequeño o con un destornillador pequeño como se muestra en (6) de la imagen 7,
teniendo cuidado de no dañar el soporte de la batería. Reemplace con una nueva batería de
celda de litio CR2032 y reemplace la cubierta del tornillo. Apriete la tapa en el sentido de las
agujas del reloj hasta que el sello de la junta tórica esté ligeramente comprimido.

RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS Y MANTENIMIENTO:
Este dispositivo mide el caudal basándose en el tiempo que se tarda en llenar una parte del
medidor. Dentro del medidor hay 3 electrodos que detectan el nivel del agua. El medidor solo

la conductividad puede ser demasiado baja como para que el medidor funcione bien. Con el
agua del grifo, el medidor funcionará siempre muy bien. Toda sustancia que cubra el metal
expuesto de los electrodos afectará la capacidad de detección del nivel del agua. Cuando el
caudal medido está contaminado, hay que ocuparse de enjuagar el interior del medidor con agua
del grifo limpia. De este modo, no se acumularán impurezas en los electrodos. Si es necesario
limpiar los electrodos, se puede acceder a ellos tras desatornillar la estructura negra del embudo
de la parte superior del medidor y retirar la almohadilla difusora. El enjuagado completo también
impide que se obstruya la almohadilla difusora, lo cual afectaría el ingreso y la salida del agua. Si
la espuma o las burbujas se convierten en un problema importante, antes de emplear el medidor
se puede echar en la almohadilla difusora una gotita de agente antiespuma (para jacuzzis o
limpiadores de alfombras).

Como fazer uma medição (contínuo)
Expanda ou retraia o funil de borracha conforme necessário (consulte a Fig. 2). Pressione o botão
Liga/Desliga para ligar o medidor. O LCD momentaneamente exibirá “000” piscando antes de
mostrar “- - -”, indicando que o medidor está pronto para fazer uma nova medição. Depois que o
visor exibir “- - -”, ele pode ser colocado sob a torneira/chuveiro/bico pulverizador a ser testado
(consulte a Fig. 3). Há um período de 60 segundos para colocar o medidor sob o fluxo a partir de
quando “- - -” for exibido pela primeira vez. A colocação do medidor sob o fluxo deve ser rápida
e precisa, para que todo o fluxo seja rapidamente transferido para o medidor. À medida que o
medidor se enche de água, “- - -” começa a piscar no visor, o que indica que a leitura está em
andamento. Assim que a água atingir o sensor superior do medidor, o visor para de piscar e a taxa
de fluxo é calculada e exibida por 90 segundos ou até o botão Liga/Desliga ser pressionado para
iniciar uma nova leitura (consulte a Fig. 4). Depois que a leitura for exibida, o medidor pode ser
esvaziado a qualquer momento virando-o de cabeça para baixo para derramar a água pela parte
superior (consulte a Fig. 5). Se uma leitura precisar ser reiniciada, basta esvaziar o medidor e
pressionar o botão Liga/Desliga para iniciar um novo ciclo de leitura. OBSERVAÇÃO: As medições
mais precisas são feitas com o medidor mantido estável durante o processo de enchimento.
Ligar/Desligar o medidor
O medidor liga sempre que o botão Liga/Desliga é pressionado. O medidor pode ser desligado
pressionando e segurando o botão Liga/Desliga por três segundos ou aguardando o desligamento
automático após 90 segundos de inatividade.
Alterar unidades de medida
O medidor pode ser configurado para exibir leituras em
galões por minuto (GPM), litros por minuto (LPM) ou
litros por hora (L/h). Para alterar as unidades de exibição,
o usuário deve primeiro desligar o medidor. Em seguida,
mantenha pressionado o botão Liga/Desliga até que o
visor fique em branco exceto pelas unidades de medida;
isso levará cerca de 3–5 segundos (consulte a Fig. 8).
Quando o visor mostrar apenas as unidades de medida, solte o botão Liga/Desliga; a unidade
de medida atualmente selecionada começará a piscar no visor. Pressione o botão Liga/Desliga
para alterar essa seleção. Quando o tipo de unidade correto estiver selecionado e piscando,
aguarde sem pressionar o botão por cinco segundos. O medidor salvará automaticamente a nova
configuração e será desligado.

Trocar a Pilha
O LCD exibirá um ícone com uma pilha vazia quando estiver na altura de trocar a pilha. Remova
a tampa (5) da Fig. 1 rodado os parafusos no sentido contrário aos ponteiros do relógio. Pode ser
necessário utilizar uma chave de fenda para aliviar a tampa. Retire gentilmente a pilha velha com
uma faca pequena ou uma chave de fenda mais pequena, conforme demonstrado em (6) da Fig.
7, tendo cuidado para não danificar o compartimento da pilha. Substitua por uma nova pilha
célula moeda de lítio CR2032 e volte a aparafusar a tampa. Aperte os parafusos no sentido dos
ponteiros do relógio até o o-ring ficar ligeiramente comprimido.

SOLUÇÃO DE PROBLEMAS E MANUTENÇÃO:
Este medidor mede a vazão detectando o tempo necessário para encher uma parte do recipiente
do medidor. O aumento do nível de água é detectado por três eletrodos dentro do medidor. O
medidor funcionará apenas com fluidos que conduzem eletricidade, como água. No caso de água
destilada, a condutividade pode ser baixa demais para o funcionamento correto do medidor.
Toda água de torneira funcionará muito bem com o medidor. Qualquer substância que revista
ou cubra o metal exposto dos eletrodos prejudicará sua capacidade de detectar o nível de água.
Deve-se ter o cuidado de enxaguar o interior do medidor com água limpa da torneira quando
houver contaminantes no fluxo medido. Isso impedirá que materiais estranhos se acumulem nos
eletrodos. Se os eletrodos precisarem ser limpos, eles podem ser acessados desaparafusando o
conjunto do funil preto da parte superior do medidor e removendo o difusor. O enxágue completo
também evita que o difusor fique entupido, o que dificulta o fluxo de água para dentro e para
fora do medidor durante a operação. Se a formação de espuma ou bolhas for um problema
significativo, uma pequena gota de agente desespumante (para produtos de limpeza de carpetes
ou spas) pode ser adicionada ao difusor antes do uso.

Messung vornehmen (Fortsetzung)
Den Gummitrichter nach Bedarf expandieren oder kollabieren (Siehe Abb. 2). Die Ein-/Aus-Taste
drücken, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Die LCD-Anzeige blinkt kurz „000“, bevor „- - -“ angezeigt
wird. Das Messgerät ist jetzt für eine neue Messung bereit. Wenn „- - -“ angezeigt wird, kann das
Gerät unter den Wasserhahn/die Dusche/Spritzdüse zwecks Prüfung des Durchflusses platziert
werden (Siehe Abb. 3). Ab dem Zeitpunkt, an dem „- - -“ erstmalig angezeigt wird, muss das Gerät
innerhalb von 60 Sekunden unter den Wasserstrahl platziert werden. Die Platzierung des Geräts
unter dem Wasserstrahl sollte schnell und präzise erfolgen, damit der gesamte Strahl schnell in
das Messgerät geleitet wird. Wenn sich das Messgerät mit Wasser füllt, beginnt die Anzeige „- - -“
zu blinken, was anzeigt, dass die Messung stattfindet. Sobald das Wasser den oberen Sensor des
Messgeräts erreicht, hört das Blinken auf, und die Durchflussrate wird berechnet und 90 Sekunden
lang oder bis zum erneuten Drücken der Ein-/Aus-Taste für eine neue Messung angezeigt (siehe
Abbidung 4). Sobald der Messwert angezeigt wird, kann das Messgerät jederzeit entleert werden,
indem es auf den Kopf gestellt wird, woraufhin das Wasser aus dem oberen Teil herausfließt (siehe
Abb. 5). Für eine neue Messung das Messgerät entleeren und die Ein-/Austaste drücken, um einen
neuen Messzyklus zu starten. BITTE BEACHTEN: Um genaueste Messungen zu erzielen, muss das
Messgerät während des Füllens ruhig gehalten werden.
EIN-/AUSSCHALTEN des Messgeräts
Das Messgerät schaltet sich jedes Mal ein, wenn die EIN-/AUS-Taste gedrückt wird. Das Messgerät
lässt sich ausschalten, indem die EIN-/AUS-Taste 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt gehalten wird oder
indem nach 90 Sekunden Inaktivität die automatische Abschaltung erfolgt.
Ändern der Messeinheiten
Das Messgerät kann so konfiguriert werden, dass die
Messwerte entweder in Gallonen pro Minute (GPM), Liter
pro Minute (LPM) oder Liter pro Stunde (L/Std.) angezeigt
werden. Um die Anzeigeeinheiten zu ändern, muss das
Messgerät zuerst ausgeschaltet werden. Die EIN-/AUS-
Taste anschließend 3 bis 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt
halten, bis auf der Anzeige, mit Ausnahme der
Maßeinheiten, nichts mehr angezeigt wird (siehe Abb. 8). Wenn nur Maßeinheiten angezeigt
werden, die EIN-/AUS-Taste loslassen, und die Anzeige beginnt mit der aktuell gewählten
Maßeinheit zu blinken. Die EIN-/AUS-Taste erneut drücken, um die Maßeinheit zu ändern. Wenn
die richtige Maßeinheit ausgewählt ist und blinkt, 5 Sekunden lang warten, ohne die Ein-/Aus-
Taste zu drücken. Das Messgerät speichert die neue Einstellung automatisch und schaltet sich aus.

Batterie wechseln
Das LCD zeigt ein leeres Batteriesymbol an, wenn die Batterie gewechselt werden muss. Entfernen
Sie die Schraubenabdeckung (5) von Abb. 1, indem Sie sie gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
Möglicherweise ist ein Schraubendreher erforderlich, um die Abdeckung zu lösen. Hebeln Sie die
alte Batterie vorsichtig mit einem kleinen Messer oder einem kleinen Schraubendreher heraus
(siehe(6) in Abb.7),und achtenSiedarauf,den Batteriehalternichtzubeschädigen.ErsetzenSiedie
Batterie durch eine neue CR2032 Lithium-Knopfzelle und bringen Sie die Schraubenabdeckung
wieder an. Ziehen Sie den Deckel im Uhrzeigersinn fest, bis der O-Ring leicht zusammengedrückt
ist.

FEHLERBEHEBUNG UND WARTUNG:
Dieses Messgerät misst die Durchflussrate, indem es die Zeit misst, die benötigt wird, um einen Teil
des Messgerätbehälters zu füllen. Der steigende Wasserspiegel wird durch 3 Elektroden im Innern
des Messgeräts erfasst. Das Messgerät funktioniert nur mit Flüssigkeiten, die Elektrizität leiten, wie
z. B. Wasser. Bei destilliertem Wasser kann die Leitfähigkeit für eine ordnungsgemäße Messung
zu niedrig sein. Leitungswasser funktioniert sehr gut mit dem Messgerät. Substanzen, die das
freiliegende Metall auf den Elektroden beschichten oder abdecken, behindern deren Fähigkeit,
den Wasserstand zu erfassen. Das Innere des Messgerät stets mit sauberem Leitungswasser
ausspülen, wenn Verunreinigungen im gemessenen Durchfluss vorhanden sind. Dadurch wird
verhindert, dass sich Fremdmaterial an den Elektroden ansammelt. Wenn die Elektroden
gereinigt werden müssen, müsse sie durch Abschrauben des schwarzen Trichters oben auf dem
MessgerätunddurchEntfernendes Verteilersfreigelegtwerden.Gründliches Ausspülen verhindert
zudem, dass der Verteiler verstop und somit der Wasserdurchfluss in das Messgerät oder aus
dem Messgerät heraus behindert wird. Wenn Schaum oder Blasen ein Problem darstellen, einen
kleinen Tropfen Entschäumer (für Teppichreiniger oder Sprudelbäder) vor dem Gebrauch dem
Verteiler hinzufügen.
