Warranty
Spracht warrants its products against defects or malfunctions
in material and workmanship under normal use and service,
with the exceptions stated below. This warranty lasts for one
year from the original date of purchase. Coverage terminates
if you sell or otherwise transfer the product. In order to keep
this warranty in eect, the product must have been handled
and used as prescribed in the instructions accompanying the
product. Spracht shall (at its option) repair or replace a defective
unit covered by this warranty, or shall refund the product
purchase price. Repair, replacement with a new or reconditioned
unit, or refund, as provided under this warranty, is your exclusive
remedy. This warranty does not cover any damages due to
accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. Spracht shall not be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Some
states do not allow limitation or exclusion of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you. Implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose are limited in duration to the
duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation
may not apply to you. To make a warranty claim, the purchaser
must obtain a return authorization number (RA) from Spracht
(serial number and purchase date required), and then return
the product to Spracht at purchaser’s expense. A copy of the
original dated receipt or shipping document must accompany

Connecting to a PC
Connect the Base Unit to a computer using the USB cable.
Launch Skype, Skype for Business, or other VoIP application
and choose ZūM Maestro USB™ as your audio device so you
can use the headset’s Multi Function button to make/take calls.

Powering the Base
1. Plug the power adapter into the DC jack on the base.
2. Connect the power adapter to a wall power outlet.
Docking the Headset/Charging
1. Press the Multi Function button on the headset ➎. The LED
will light up for 2 seconds indicating it is powering on. Press
the Multi Function button again, or dock the headset on the
Base Unit. Lift the headset: when the headset and base are
connected, the Headset Paired LED will light up.
2. When docked correctly, the headset battery will begin
charging, if needed (the LED will flash while charging).
Charge for 20 minutes or until the battery indicator on the
base is steady green.
3. To Clear the paired Base Unit and headset: Press the button
marked R+ at the back of the base. The battery charging
status light will flash 3 times to indicate successful un-pairing.
4. To Re-pair with the headset: press and hold the PAGE button
for 5 seconds. The headset paired light will flash to
indicate the Base Unit is searching for the headset. Press
and hold the headset mute button until the headset status
LED flashes indicating the headset is in paired status. The
connection will be successful when the LEDs shut o at the
same time.

Due to the large range of desk phone brands/models available,
a clear dial tone must be set before your first use of the ZūM
Maestro USB™ headset. Setting a clear dial tone will enable
the ZūM Maestro USB™ headset to function correctly with your
computer for use with Skype, Skype for Business or other VoIP

application. It is also important to set the microphone volume
for optimal sound quality.

1. Put on the headset.
2. Use AC adapter to plug the Base Unit into a wall power outlet.
3. Use the Mini USB cable to connect to the computer.
4. Launch the Skype or Skype for Business app, and set the
audio device as ZūM Maestro USB™ headset.

1. Put on the headset.
2. Check the microphone volume by making a test call to a
friend or colleague. Make sure they don't adjust their own
listening volume. You can also test the volumes by yourself
by using Skype's Echo Sound Test, online.
3. Adjust the microphone volume using the +/- volume
buttons until it is at the right volume for the person listening.
4. To adjust your listening volume, use the receiver +/-
volume buttons until it's at a good level for you.
5. After you've made the adjustments, you're done, and can
end the test call and start using your headset.

Making a Call, Answering a Call and Ending a Call
When the headset is on the base, if you want to make or answer
a call, pick up the headset and put it on.
If the headset is already on your head, just tap the multi-function
button to make a call or answer a call.
To end a call, you can either (1) tap the multi-function button, or
(2) return the headset to the base.

Connexion à un PC
Connectez la base à un ordinateur à l'aide du câble USB.
Lancez Skype, Skype for Business ou toute autre application
VoIP et choisissez ZūM Maestro USB ™ comme périphérique
audio afin que vous puissiez utiliser le bouton multifonctions du
casque pour Passer / Prendre des appels.

Alimentation de la base
1. Branchez l'adaptateur secteur dans la prise DC de la base
2. Branchez l’adaptateur secteur sur une prise murale.
Station d’accueil du casque / chargement
1. Appuyez sur le bouton multifonctions ➎. sur le casque.
La LED s'allume pendant 2 secondes, indiquant que le
casque est sous tension. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton
multifonctions ou mettez le casque sur la base. Soulevez
le casque : lorsque le casque et la base sont connectés, le
voyant du casque est allumé.
2. Lorsqu'il est correctement posé sur la station d’accueil, si
besoin la batterie du casque commencera à être charger
(la LED clignote pendant la charge). Chargez pendant 20
minutes ou jusqu'à ce que le voyant de batterie sur la base
soit vert fixe.
3. Pour Désactiver la base couplée et le casque : appuyez sur
le bouton marqué R + à l'arrière de la base. Le voyant d'état
de charge de la batterie clignotera 3 fois pour indiquer un
succès de la désactivation du couplage.
4. Pour Coupler à nouveau avec le casque : maintenez le
bouton PAGE enfoncé pendant 5 secondes. Le voyant du
casque à coupler clignotera pour indiquer que l'unité
de base est en train de rechercher le casque. Appuyez et
maintenez enfoncé le bouton muet du casque jusqu'à ce
que le voyant de statut du casque clignote indiquant que le
casque est en cours de couplage. La connexion sera réussie
lorsque les LED s'éteignent en même temps.

En raison de la large gamme de marques / modèles de
téléphones disponibles, une tonalité d’invitation claire doit être
définie avant votre première utilisation du casque ZūM Maestro
USB ™. Si vous définissez une tonalité d’invitation claire, le
