IMPORTANT
Before using your new Bill counter with counterfeit detector,
please read the following recommendations.
Do not use nor store this device near water, may cause
malfunction.
Before cleaning the unit, please unplug it from the outlet.
Always use a clean and dry brush (included) to clean the device.
Do not use cleaning sprays nor solvents.
Do not use this device in extreme temperatures or excessive
moisture, it may cause malfunction.
The warranty is void if try to remove the cover, what is more, may
cause damages in the device.
If power cord is broken, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
service agent or qualied personnel, in order to avoid risk.
If the device won’t be used for a long period of time, unplug it from
the outlet.

CONTROLS
1.- Screen.

OPERATION
COUNTING
If you want to enter to counting mode, follow these steps, if you want
to use it as a counting and counterfeit detector, please consult next
section.
1.- Press Select, then choose CONT option, the indicator LED will light
on.
2.- Place the bills on the tray.
3.- You will see the number of counted bills in the LCD screen.
4.- If you want to recount, place the notes in the tray once again, the
screen will show the number of counted bills, however the screen will
show you a small number tha tit means that you realized a counting
before this.
COUNTERFEIT DETECTION
This unit can detect counterfeit notes while realize a counting. The
available detection systems can be enabled pressing SELECT button.
1.- Press Select, the Magnetic and UV indicators will light on. It means
that you are now in UV and magnetic mode.
Remember, this mode only will detect paper notes, not polymer
notes.
2.- Press Select once again, the UV indicator will light on. This option
is only for UV detection, and we recommend it for polymer notes. The
paper notes can be detected under this mode.

3.- Place the bills in the tray, in case the device detects a counterfeit
note, the device will emit a sound, the ALARM led will light on and the
screen will display the message “EE1”.
The UV and magnetic detection system are valuable instruments to
detect counterfeit bills. However, as any other counterfeit
detector, it cannot be guaranteed that some counterfeit notes won’t
be detected due to the advanced counterfeit process.
GROUPING
If you have a big quantity of bills, and you want to count them in groups
of 10 or 20, or other quantity, pleas use this option.
1.- Set the Detection mode (Magnetic, UV or counting mode)
2.- Press Preset, the screen will show the default number “100”, use
Select / + or Reset / - to congure the parameter.
3.- Then place the bills in the tray.
4.- Remove the notes from the hoper after the rst group, then the
device will be ready for the next group of count.
5.- To leave this mode, press Preset.

REPLACING THE FUSE
The fuse must be replaced if the unit has a problem with the energy.
Unplug the unit before change the fuse. Only replace with a fuse
with the same characteristics, in order to avoid a risk of electric
shock.
Use a at screwdriver, remove the fuse box. Inside you will se a fuse,
remove it and replace with a new one. Then replace the fuse box.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and
materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product
box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to customer, as well as
warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries,
failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper
safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.

OPERACIÓN
CONTEO
Si desea solo entrar en modo de conteo siga los siguientes pasos, en
caso de realizar el conteo con detección de billetes falsos diríjase a la
siguiente sección.
1.- Presione el botón SELECT y seleccione el modo CONT, el led
indicador CON se iluminará.
2.- Coloque los billetes a contar en la bandeja de alimentación.
3.- En pantalla se mostrara el numero de billetes contados.
4.- Si desea volver a contarlos, vuelva a colocarlos en bandeja de
alimentación y en la pantalla nuevamente le mostrará el número de
billetes contados, sin embargo mostrará un número mas pequeño, este
indica el número de billetes contados anterior.
SISTEMAS DE DETECCIÓN DE BILLETES FALSIFICADOS
Esta unidad puede detectar billetes dudosos o falsicados mientras
cuenta. Los sistemas de detección disponibles pueden ser activados
presionando el botón SELECT.
1.- Presione el botón SELECT se iluminará el modo MAGNETIC Y UV.
En esta selección entrará en modo magnético y sensor ultravioleta.
En este modo solo detectará los billetes de papel, no billetes de
polímeros (plástico)

2.- Presione el botón SELECT nuevamente se iluminará el LED UV.
Esta selección es solo en modo de detección ultravioleta y se
recomienda este modo para detectar los billetes de polímero (plástico).
Así como los billetes de papel.
3.- Coloque los billetes en la bandeja de alimentación, en caso de
detectar un billete falso el equipo emitirá un sonido, el LED de “ALARM”
se iluminará y en pantalla marcará error “EE1”.
Los sistemas de detección ultravioleta y magnética integrados son
instrumentos valiosos para detectar billetes falsos. Sin embargo,
al igual que cualquier otra contadora con detectores integrados,
no garantiza la legitimidad de los billetes analizados debido a los
impredecibles avances en falsicación de dinero.
AGRUPACIÓN
Si tiene una gran cantidad de billetes y desea formar grupos de 10,
20 u otra cantidad de billetes, seleccione esta opción, para contarlos y
agruparlos.
1.- Congure el modo de detección (MAGNETIC, UV o simplemente
modo contador)
2.- Presione el botón PRESET, en pantalla mostrará por defecto el
número 100, use los botones SELECT + para aumentar el digito o
RESET – para disminuir el digito.
3.- Simplemente coloque los billetes a agrupar.
4.- Retire los billetes de la bandeja receptora para continuar con la
siguiente agrupación.
5.- Para salir de este modo presione nuevamente el botón PRESET.

REEMPLAZANDO EL FUSIBLE
El fusible debe ser remplazado si la unidad está conectada a una toma
de alimentación, el interruptor está en la posición ON, y aun así, no
hay señal de que este funcionando. En este caso, reemplazar el fusible
puede resolver el problema.
Desconecte la unidad antes de empezar. Para una protección
continua contra riesgo de fuego, reemplace solamente con un
fusible del mismo tipo.
Con un desatornillador plano, retire la caja de fusibles. Esta contiene un
fusible, Retire el fusible (quemado) y reemplácelo. Vuelva a colocar la
caja de fusible en su lugar.
