STORAGE ANDMAINTENANCE
Pumps are deliveredin appropriate cardboardboxes. Packaging materialshould be
properly disposed.
Handling and storageof the newpump do notrequire any specialprocedures.
However after thepump has beenused, empty theused oil inthe suction tubeinto an
appropriate container.This isdone by overturningthe pump
The dust incompressed air canslow down andeven block themotor cylinder.The
following steps mayprevent this fromhappening:
1) Let in50 gram ofVaselineoil or otherlubricator from theair inlet holeweekly
operate the pumpfor several minutesafter having intothe pump.
2) Turnon the pumpfor several minutesuntil moving partsis fully lubricated.
3) You may repeatthe above operationif necessary.
4) Theabove steps shouldbe carried outon a weeklybase.
For the pumpsthat are attachedwith compressed airtreatment equipment please
empty the waterretained in thereservoir of thefilter-purger frequently.
For the pumpsthat are attachedwith a lubricator, please payclose attention tothe
lubricator's oil leveland refill withSAE 20, SAE30 or antifreezeoil for extreme
conditions when necessary.
NOTE:
The user shouldperform only routinemaintenance operations (suchas filters,
silencers, cleaning...) withthe pump inorder not todamage it orcompromise its safety.
Contact our salesor service centerswhen the pumpneeds further maintenance.
GENERAL SAFETYREGULATIONS
When the pumpis connected tothe compressed airsupply:
- Thecompressed air mustbe filtered toavoid dust andmoisture into pump
- Themax compressed airpressure must notexceed 0.8Mpa
- To deliver oil,press the knobon the deliverypistol; delivery stopswhen the knobis
released but thewhole system remainsunder pressure.
- Position thepistol so thatthe circuit can'topen accidentally. Otherwise oilcould
leak onto theground.
- Never pointthe pistol atpeople or objects.
- Press thepistol knob.
- Alwayscut offthe air supplyafter use sothat oil can'tleak out incase one ofthe
pump's components shouldbreak
- Use onlyoriginal spare partsin case thepump has tobe repaired orits components
have to bereplaced
- Empty allthe oil fromthe pump incase it hasto be disposedof.
- When notin use, turnoff compressed airto stop pump.
- Do notuse the pumpnear open flames.Do not smokeduring this operation.
- Wearoil-proof gloves
- Do notthrow the oilaway.Used oil hasto be disposedof according tonational
Environmental regulations
- Thepumps can beused only todeliver lubricants, usedoil or antifreezeliquids. Do
not use thepump for anyother substance.

HOW TOUSE
DIRECTLYFITTED PUMPS INTO THE DRUM
1. Insert thesuction tube ofpump into thedrum and securewith ring nut,suitable for
commercial drums with57 diameter holeand threading 2''BSP
2. Fit aoil delivery tubefor oil outletof the airoperated pump usingonly high quality
tubes (normally 1/2''or 3/4'', accordingto DIN-SAE norms),by means of1/2''BSP
threading fitting.
3. Oil deliverypistol: Connect deliverytube with deliverypistol using suitablepipe
fittings, and pointthe pistol atright place.
4. Airinlet connection is1/4'' quick plug(or1/4''NPT female)in all versions.
Compressed air connection(to be suppliedby the customer)should be doneusing
suitable tubes.
5. Apressure regulator tokeep the pump'sworking pressure atthe best possible
level(max 5-8 bar)between the pumpand the compressedair line.
6. Acut-off switchcan enable theoperator to stopthe pump atany given
moment by cuttingthe air supplyoff betweenthe pump andthe compressed airline.
7. Switch onall switch.

PROCEED ASFOLLOWS:
1. Secure thebracket to thewall using thedowels at about1200mm height appropriate
for the tank'sdimensions. Make surethat the wallis solid andthick enough forthe
dowels. Do notinterfere with hydraulictubes or electriclines.
2. Secure thepump to thebracket 2.
3. Connect theflexible suction tube4 to thepump using theclamp provided.
4. Connect therigid suction 7to the endof the flexiblesuction tube 4using the
elastic clamp provided.
5. Put thebung adapter 6into the drumhole.
6. Put therigid suction tube7 into thepump and secureit in place.

PRESSURE RELIEF PROCEDURE
Toreduce the riskof serious bodilyinjury,including fluid injection,splashing in the
eyes or onthe skin, orinjury from movingparts, please alwaysfollow this procedure
whenever you shutoff thepump, when checkor service anypart of the
spray/dispensing system, wheninstall, clean orchang spray tips/nozzles,and
whenever you stopspraying/dispensing.
1. Shut off the airto the pump.
2. Point theoutlet of greasegun to containerand trigger thegrease gun torelieve
pressure.
IMPORTANTNOTES:
If you suspectthat the spraytip/nozzle or hoseis completely clogged,or that pressure
has not beenfully relieved afterfollowing the stepsabove, VERYSLOWLYloosen the
retaining nut orhose end couplingand relieve pressuregradually,then loosen
completely.Now clear thetip/nozzle or hose.
