1 Introduction
TheCleanStation™CSIIPusesagitationandanalkalinecleaningsolutionto
rapidlydissolvesolubleSupportmaterialfromprintedpartsandmodels.
1.1 About this Guide
Theinformationandrequirementsprovidedinthisdocumentensureproper
installationoftheCleanStation™CSIIP.InstalltheCleanStation™CSIIPas
describedinthisdocument.

2 Safety Guidelines
Thefollowinggeneralguidelines,togetherwiththeinstructionsprovided
throughoutthisguide,ensureusersafetywhileoperatingandmaintainingthe
CleanStation™CSIIP.If the system is not installed and operated as
specified, the user's safety might be compromised.
• MakesurethatthesitehasbeenpreparedasspecifiedintheSitePreparation
Guide.
• Allelectricalworkistobeperformedbypersonnelqualifiedbylocal
authorities.
• Thepowercableshouldbeconnectedtoaneasilyaccessibleelectricsocket
neartheCleanStation™CSIIPlocation.
• MakesurethataResidualCurrentDevice(RCD)hasbeeninstalled.
• NevermovetheCleanStation™CSIIPwhenthereisliquidinthetank.


3 Installation
3.1 Required Items
Prepare the following:
• protectiveglasses
• utilityknife
• strapcutter
• scissors
• Phillipsscrewdriver
• 14-mmsocketwrench
• 3.2-mmhex(Allen®)key
3.2 Unpacking the CleanStation™ CSIIP
To unpack the unit:
1. Checktheshockdetectorlabeltoensurethatthepackagehasnotbeen
damaged.
2. Makesurethatthepackagehasbeenmovedascloseaspossibletoitsfinal
location.
3. Usingstrapcutters,carefullycutthestrapsaroundthepackage.
Warning: Impact hazard.
The straps are tightly wrapped around the package and can cause injury
when suddenly released. Stand clear of the straps while cutting them.

4. UsingaPhillipsscrewdriver,removethescrewsthatsecurethepackagetoits
platforms.

5. Removethepackagingfromtheunit.

The ramp is packed between the back of the unit and the foam supports.

3.3 Connecting the Water Supply and Drainage Hoses
To connect the water supply hose:
1. AttachthesupplyhosetotheSUPPLYinlet.
2. Attachtheotherendofthehosetothefacilitiestap.
To connect the drainage hose:
3. AttachthedrainhosetotheDRAINoutlet.
4. Attachtheotherendofthehosetoadrain,accordingtolocalwastedisposal
regulations.
Caution:
When the selector switch (on the operator panel) is set to DRAIN TANK
and the CONTROL VALVE is set to DRAIN TANK, high pressure can
cause the drain hose to be freed from the drain if it is not properly secured.
Make sure that the drain hose is securely attached to the drain.

3.4 Attaching a Plug to the Power Cable (for 220 V Units)
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the power connector is prepared by personnel
qualified by local authorities.
TheCleanStation™CSIIPunitisshippedwithoneofthefollowing:
• for 90-120 VAC:apowercable,includingaNEMA5-15(TypeB)plug
suitablefortheUSA.Forregionswiththisvoltagethatuseadifferenttypeof
plug,thecustomermustprovideaplugthatmeetslocalrequirementsand
haveitinstalledbypersonnelqualifiedbylocalauthorities.
• for 220-240 VAC:a14AWGpowercable,withnoplugattached.Forthese
areas,thecustomermustprovideaplugthatmeetslocalrequirementsand
haveitinstalledbypersonnelqualifiedbylocalauthorities.
Ifnecessary,attachthepowerplugrequiredbylocalauthorities.

3.5 Plugging the Power Cable into the Power Outlet
To power-on the CleanStation™ CSIIP:
1. Opentheoperatorpaneldoor.
2. MakesurethattheselectorswitchissettoOFF.
3. PlugtheCleanStation™CSIIPintothepoweroutletatthesite.

3.6 Leveling the CleanStation™ CSIIP
1. Turnthelevelingfeetadjustmentgearsuntiltheunitrestsonitslevelingfeet.
2. Placeaspiritlevelonthetopcoverorientedfrombacktofront.
3. Adjustthelevelingfeetasshownbelowuntilthebubbleindicatesthattheunit
islevel.

4 Post-Installation
Performthefollowing,asdescribedintheCleanStation™CSIIPUserGuideor
theServiceManual:
1. Openthefacilitieswatersupplytapandfillthetank.
There is no automatic shutoff valve. You need to shut the water tap when
the tank is full.
2. Drainthetankwithoutactivatingthepump.
3. Whilethetankisstillbeingdrained,activatethepumpandmakesurethatthe
flowincreases.
4. Fillthetankwithwater.
5. Verifythatthecontrollerissettothedesiredtemperatureunits.
6. Setthecontrollertotwominutes,recordthetime,andactivatethesystem
fromthecontroller.
7. WhiletheCleanStation™CSIIPisactive:
• Increaseanddecreasethewateragitationandmakesurethattheagitation
changesaccordingly.
• Makesurethatthejetsarefunctional.
8. MakesurethattheCleanStation™CSIIPturnsoffaftertwominutes.
9. TrainthecustomeronproperuseoftheCleanStation™CSIIP,usingtheUser
Guideasareference.
