ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: Using the Wrench (G) to tighten parts may cause damage to painted surfaces. If possible, protect parts before wrench
tightening.
1. Connect T-Bar (A) with one of two Blades (B or C)
by inserting one of the threaded ends of T-Bar (A)
through the middle hole of Blade. Fasten Blade to
T-Bar (A) by applying one Nut (D), Washer (E)
and Cap Nut (F). Hand tighten Nut and Cap Nut.
Wrench (G) can be used to tighten the Nut. (See
Step 1)
2. Repeat for other blade. (See Step 2)
Be sure blade is facing the correct direction.
Note label on outer side of blade.
3. Assemble the bars: (See Step 3)
a. Thread Stake Bar (H) through the ring on Two-
Prong Stake (I). Align stake on Stake Bar with the
notch on ring, creating a three-prong stake.
b. Connect Middle Bar (J) with Stake Bar
(assembled with Two-Prong Stake).
c. Connect Top Bar (K) with Bar Assembly.
4. Connect Bar Assembly in Step 3 with Blade Assembly in
Step 2 by inserting the top of Top Bar (K) into the end of
T-Bar (A).
5. Select location in garden for your wind catcher. Place foot
on horizontal bar of Two-Prong Stake (I) and hands on Top
Bar (K). Simultaneously, using hands and foot, push unit
into ground.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. If the blade does not spin, make sure the two blades are assembled correctly. The front side of the blades (where the
ball bearing is visible) should face outside. The backside of blades (where the ball bearing is covered) should face
inside. The two blades should face opposite directions.
2. If one blade is spinning while the other one is not, or if one blade is spinning faster than the other, pay attention to
below:
a. Rotate the T-Bar so that the two blades are facing the direction of the wind, or
b. Wait until the wind is stronger. Wind speed and/or direction change may cause one blade to spin faster than the
other.
3. The two Blades (B & C) are designed to spin in opposite directions. If wind speed or direction change, they may spin in
the same direction. Wait until the wind is at a steady speed to experience proper spinning.
WARNINGS & CAUTIONS
1. This item is not a toy. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO CLIMB ON, HANG FROM, OR PLAY WITH THIS ITEM.
2. When the blades are spinning at a high speed, DO NOT TRY TO TOUCH BLADES AS IT MAY CAUSE INJURY.
3. Remove the T-Bar and Blade Assembly when the wind speed reaches 56.3 kilometers (35 miles) per hour.
