90-DEGREE DOOR STOP
Th Sub-Z ro ic machin has a 90-d gr
door stop. Follow th s st ps for installation:
1) Op n th door approximat ly 80 d gr s.
2) Ins rt th stop pin into th bottom door
hing (pin nt rs from th top). Th pin
must b ins rt d until th h ad has mad
contact with th hing body. R f r to th
illustration b low.
3) Ins rt th stop pin into th top door hing
(pin nt rs from th bottom).

If the reveal on the hinge side of the door
panel is less than

/ 4 ", and the panel has
a square corner, severe finger pinching or
damage to the unit may occur.
Exercise caution when drilling holes for
mounting hardware. This is especially
critical with inset panels.

2) Refrigeration System Start-Up

Harv st cycl s. Th cond ns r fan motor starts
and runs throughout th Fr z cycl .
3) Freeze
Th wat r pump sprays wat r into th inv rt d
cups.
Th wat r fr z s lay r by lay r, until an ic
cub forms in ach cup. Th control syst m
will adjust th l ngth of th Fr z cycl to
conditions.
4) Harvest
Th wat r pump shuts off and th wat r inl t
valv starts up to assist harv st and r fill th
wat r sump.
Th vaporator is warm d, allowing th cub s
to r l as from th vaporator and drop into
th storag bin. Th control syst m will adjust
th l ngth of th Harv st cycl to conditions
and r gulat wh th r th cond ns r fan will
run.
At th nd of th Harv st cycl , th ic
machin will start anoth r Fr z cycl
(St p 3).
5) Automatic Shut-Off
Th l v l of ic in th storag bin controls th
ic machin shut-off. Wh n th bin is full, ic
will contact th bin th rmostat bulb hold r.
Th bin th rmostat bulb cools, which stops th
ic machin .
Th ic machin r mains off until ic no long r
contacts th bin th rmostat bulb hold r and
th th rmostat bulb warms up. Th incr as in
t mp ratur will r start th ic machin
(St p 1).
