4.2.1 Teach in transmitter
Press the desired push button for at least 3 seconds until „teach in mode” is signalized acoustically and the channel LED flashes once
a second. Now press the push button “CALL” of the transmitter that shall control this channel. Therefore keep a distance of about 1
meter. As soon as the transmitters address is learned the “teach in mode” will be left and the channel LED will turn off.
In order to turn off the red LED of the transmitter press the push button “CALL” once again and than press the channel push button of
the Minicall12.
For further transmitters repeat this procedure until all transmitters are teached in. Transmitters that are already known to the Minicall12
will be ignored if you try to reach them in once again. For each channel you may teach in up to 5 transmitters.
If the „teach in mode” shall be left without any transmitter action just press once again the corresponding channel push button.
If you pressed the wrong channel LED just press the right one for 3 seconds and the new channel will turn to teach in mode.
If the Minicall12 is set to the “teach in mode” and no new transmitter is active this mode automatically will finish after a time period of 20
seconds.
4.2.2 Teach in portable receiver R-12
For each receiver channel only one receiver may be used. The teach in process is the same then for transmitters but you have to press
two push buttons at the same time (see table 1). For indication of the “teach in mode” for receivers both LED are flashing (i.e. 1 and 2).
The portable receivers automatically send their radio address all 5 seconds. So if not yet done switch on the receiver and wait until
Minicall12 has learned the desired receiver. The channel used is irrelevant
4.2.3 Teach in repeater RT-12
For each transceiver channel only one transceiver may be used. The teach in process is the same then for transmitters but you have to
press two push buttons at the same time (see table 1). For indication of the “teach in mode” for transceivers both LED are flashing (i.e.
7 and 8).
Switch on the repeater after starting the “teach in mode”. Because of interval duration of automatic repeater activity it could happen
that the “teach in mode” is left before the repeater is learned. The channel used is irrelevant
4.2.4 Teach in signaler SG-12
For each signaler channel only one signaler may be used. The teach in process is the same then for transmitters (see table 1).
Switch on the signaler after starting the “teach in mode”. Because of interval duration of automatic signaler activity it could happen that
the “teach in mode” is left before the signaler is learned.
4.3 Erase
4.3.1 Erase all transmitters for one channel
Press the desired push button (i.e. 1) for at least 3 seconds. So the “teach in mode” is activated. Release the push button and press it
again for another 3 seconds until the corresponding LED flashes 5 times and an acoustic signal will confirm deletion of all learned
transmitters for this channel. Only all components of the corresponding channel can be deleted.
4.3.2 Erase a portable receiver R-12
Proceed exactly as for erasing a transmitter but use both push buttons required (i.e.1 + 2 / see table 1)
4.3.3 Erase a Repeater RT-12
Proceed exactly as for erasing a transmitter but use both push buttons required (i.e.7 + 8 / see table 1)
4.3.3 Erase a Signaler SG-12
Proceed exactly as for erasing a transmitter. (see table 1)
4.4 System Check
Distribute all transmitters signalers (if so) and repeaters (if so) to the place you would like to operate the devices.
Now activate a call at all transmitters by pressing the push button to ensure the correct functioning. The transmitters will turn on their
red LED whereas all calls shall be displayed at the Minicall12 by the corresponding red LEDs and the acoustic calling signal sounds all
5 seconds. Additionally the calls must appear in the portable receivers display and signalers light up.
Now press the channel reset push buttons at the Minicall12. Only if all channels are confirmed the calling melody will stop.
Some seconds later the red LED at the transmitters side will turn off and with a short delay also the calling information at the portable
receivers will be erased and the lights of the signaler turn off.
If a call of a transmitter placed to far away do not activate the calling channel at the Minicall12 so just place a repeater between this
transmitter and the Minicall12. In some cases you may need one more repeater in row to overcome the distance.
Now try again to transmit a call from the transmitter to the Minicall12 in order to confirm the repeaters function.
4.5 Settings (optionally)
4.5.1 Settings Menu Minicall12
You will reach the menu by pressing push button 5 and 6 simultaneously while Power On. This means battery supply and AC-adaptor
supply is off and in the moment you switch one of both supplies on push button 5 and 6 have to be pressed.
Minicall12 will show the active settings menu by flashing LED „DATA“ and “ON” once a second.
With push buttons 1 to 6 you may chose the parameter to be changed and with push buttons 7 to 12 you select the corresponding
value (see also following table 2).
Parameter 1: Select one of 6 different acoustic calling signals.
Parameter 2: By default each pressure of a push button is accompanied by a short beep. In case of interruption of the radio
communication to the transmitter there will be a beep also. With push button 7 you may switch of this signalization.
With push button 9 to12 you may change the repetition frequency of the acoustic calling melody or switch off
completely.
Parameter 3: Here the cyclic radio transmission check from the transmitters may be changed. An incoming call is always accepted
immediately but the transmitted reset to the transmitter depends on this chosen time.
Parameter 4: Here the cyclic radio transmission to portable receivers may be changed. Please note that the chosen time may also
