The SY-EX-18G is an 18GHz HDMI 2.0b audio
extractor (de-embedder), with simultaneous Toslink
Optical and stereo L/R audio outputs.
Supported bypass audio formats include 2 channel
LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos
and DTS-HD Master Audio, with up to 192 KHz audio
sampling rate.
Also supports 10 bit HDR, HDCP2.2 and CEC bypass.

Using the SY-EX-18G
Simply connect the SY-EX-18G between the HDMI
source and the HDMI display, and then connect the
digital optical and/or the analogue audio outputs to
your sound system. Both audio outputs can be used
simultaneously.
The three-position switch has the following options:
Pass
The display device EDID settings is simply passed
through without any Audio EDID modification.
Bitstream
Use this setting if the HDMI source device is capable
of outputting Dolby Digital or DTS audio. This mode is
the best choice when using the optical audio output to
achieve 5.1 surround sound.
2Ch
Audio EDID is limited to LPCM 2.0. This setting is
best when analogue stereo L/R is required.

from the date of purchase as stated on the sales invoice. For

4. SY Product warranty is automatically void under any of the
following conditions:
The product is already outside of its warranty period
Damage to the product due to incorrect usage or storage
