•Allelectricalconnectionsandmaintenanceworkmustbecarriedoutbyanauthorizedinstallerand
inaccordancewithlocalrulesandregulations.
Warning
•Thesystemshouldoperatecontinuously,andonlybestoppedformaintenance/service.
•Theinstallationoftheunitandcompleteventilationsystemsmustbeperformedbyanauthorized

•AlthoughtheMainssupplytotheunithasbeendisconnectedthereisstillriskforinjuryduetothe

theunittothemainssupply.

IftheSAVEVTC300unitwasproducedbeforethe10thofAugust2014,anewreleasedbypassdamper
cannotbechangeddirectlyanymoreasshownintheinstallationsection3Changingthebypassdamper.
Thenewbypassdamperdonotusethetransformerwhichislocatedintheconnectionbox,thereforeit
mustbedisconnectedandcablesconnectedviaadapterbeforemountingthenewbypassdamperinto
place.Carefullyperformadditionalstepsbellowtocompletetheinstallation:
Theunitproductiondatecanbefoundonthetypelabel(see:step2,page7,pos3),whichcanbefound
ontopoftheunitclosetotheductconnectionsorinsideinthebottomoftheunit.

Disconnecttheunitfromthemainssupply(step1,page2),openthehatch(step2,page2).

Removethefrontlid(pos2)bylooseningfourscrews(pos1).

Removethecoverplateoftheconnectionbox(pos2)byloosening2screws(pos1).Pullthecover
asshowninillustrationtoremoveit.

connectedtothetransformer.

Disconnectandremoveablackgroundwire(GND)connectedtotheterminalontheprintcard(pos1)and
thetransformer(pos2).Thiswireisnotneededanymore.

Disconnectredandblackwiresconnectedtothetransformer(pos1).Reconnecttheredwiretothe4–pol
socketterminal“L”(pos2)andtheblackwiretothe4–polsocketterminal“N”(pos3)).Thetransformeris
nowcompletelydisconnected.

DisconnectgreyGNDwire(pos1)connectedtotheprintcard(pos2)nextto“DI6”connection(pos4).
Reconnectittothedamper“GND”(pos3)connectionontheprintcard.Changesintheconnection
boxarenowcompleted.
Note:
ThegreyGNDwireistooshorttobeconnecteddirectlyontherightsideoftheprintcard,cutandremove
theprotectiveblackshrinkingtubingfromthecable(about5–8cm)beforeconnectingthewire(pos5).

•yellowwiretothe3–polsocketunmarkedterminal(pos1);
•redwiretotheterminal“L”onthe3–polsocket(pos2);
•blackwiretotheterminal“N”onthe3–polsocket(pos3).
Note:
Amultimeterisrequiredinordertocompletethefollowing
steps.
•useamultimetertoidentifygreyDI6wirefromtheconnectionboxandconnectittotheblackwire
oftheadapterwiththe“DI6”marking(pos4);
•useamultimetertoidentifygreyGNDwirefromtheconnectionboxandconnectittotheblackwireof
theadapterwiththe“DamperGND”marking(pos5).
Important
Greywirescomingfromtheconnectionboxarenotmarked.Usemultimetertoidentifywhichgrey
wireisDI6andDamperGND!Theotherendofgreycablesarelocatedintheconnectionbox(see:
step4,page10(pos3and4)).
DonotmixDI6andDamperGNDgreywiresfromtheconnectionboxwhileconnectingthemtothe
adapterorelsebypassdamperalarmwilloccur!
